This video is a new twist on the review/retrospective style of videos on UA-cam that I have been wanting to try out for a while. I was able to learn a lot patching this thing together over the past four months while hopefully providing you all with a unique viewing experience.

man I don't care what the view count says, this is some of the best youtube i've seen in years. up there with folding ideas or hbomber in stringing along attention and story. I understand if this is far too much effort to ever do again if it isnt blowing up on viewcount, but Im glad to have viewed this art.

When Sarah said "What the F***!" when she saw Mr. Crabs; my head immediately went into the game and thought of so many situations where a little bit of profanity would have made it so much real, grounded and enjoyable; instead of whatever PG-13, formal dialogue this game has.

I let ChatGPT write a Bad Review for my Steam Review, and it was on point.
I don't usually comment as I'm more of a lurker type myself, but I wanted to say that this video was genuinely incredible to watch. I love watching long form analysis videos but they can be dry while focusing so heavily on negatives and facts, which really bogs down the video’s pacing.
This video felt far more like an actual creative interpretation of a game review, turning an experience into a damn good film. It wasn’t something I had on in the background while working or doing daily chores, but I wanted to actually sit down and soak in the details, humour, and editing that was put into this very entertaining hour and a half.
I wish more people experimented with their content like you are, because although it’s very different from when I first found you with your old D2 videos, your style and humour still shines through clearly and shows how much you’ve grown in your creative outlet. You probably won’t see this comment but if you do, keep up the good work man, your shit’s damn good and I love following your content.

Everything OP said + holy shizz that's some amazing quality shot composition + animation for correct & consistent eye-lines, which really make all the awkward pauses + comedic sight gags + interpersonal banter lines LAND LAND LAND those jokes LAND

The analysis video is becoming its own art form. Some creators like this one make great videos and are at the fore front, however unfortunately the copy cats are coming.

This is the funniest Starfield video I have ever seen, I can’t remember the last time I laughed so often and out loud at a UA-cam video. Masterfully done, this should get millions of views just like the Nakey Jakey video did, and this one is even better with even more effort put in it in my humble opinion. This video highlights that Starfield could’ve been a masterpiece of a game but just become a product to consume the content of and then immediately forget about it and move on. I might forget the bland, boring, pointless story & characters of Starfield, but I’ll never forget this movie / video, great job. Liked & subbed. P.S. the loop of the beginning and end was a great way to finish it off.
10/10 for getting Todd to sit down and do this with you.

I really didn't know what to expect before clicking on this and there have been MANY essay-styled videos on Starfield, so I thought this would be just another one like that.. but holy SH*T!!! This is honestly one of the best videos on a game I've ever seen, and the fact you made this awful game look as good as you did in this is f*cking impressive. The story telling, the cinematography, the use of AI voices, the writing, the editing and the audio design are all KENO! Shout out to all the jabs and jokes at ESG, DEI and modern-day feminism stuff that you made throughout this vid as those are things that should always be mocked.
Incredible work dude and this vid is criminally underrated and deserves at the very least a million views. And I might be wrong, but it sounds like u have a Dutch accent. So if that's the case; ''lekker gedaan man, en ik kan niet wachten op je volgende videos! 😁

In all seriousness at this point I am entirely confident the only reason Marco hasn't absolutely blown up is because YT just doesn't push his content out. I can't even imagine how much effort and time he put into this project. Not only this video but so many others too. Marco you will blow up one day mark my words all we need is XQC to react to your video while he really just plays slots on his phone.

no they dont and no it isnt. its unsettling to treat another human being like a cartoon character. i get the "joke" but its inherently a fucked up thing to do if you were to stop and think for literally a single second. the video is great in premise but nah.

I completely agree. I have been trying to figure out AI voices myself, and I don't know what he's using that gets these voices so on point and gets those proper human inflections. it is incredibly well done.
@@patriot639 AFAIK you need to do the voice acting and use the other voice as a filter to get actual inflection.

@@oneeyednim6730 AI is not a replacement for human beings. Even though it may be generated by AI, it's the creator's ideas that made it happen. You can't just tell AI to "make a Starfield movie" and get this kind of result.

Bro, the view count is truly sad. Fuck the YT algorithm.
I love the AI voice quality and the humor. With that you could basically redo all the dialogue and make it actually enjoyable. I played the game for 140h and when I did the Reborn thing I lost completely interest because it just sucks. After that I thought the only mod that could make this game enjoyable would basically have to redo the entire plot without NG+ bull crap and Skyrim space magic and ground the game in the universe with a reason to actually be there.
But I guess with all the limitations of the engine and the material Bethesda has delivered it just does no make any sense. It just sucks, and the more they have blown up this games universe with nothingness swirling around this stupid Idea to do it all over in God mode makes it the most pathetic game I have seen in a while.
Not even stupid rovers... This stupid universe has forgotten the fucking wheel, that's how dumb it is. And that are 8 years of dev time from a AAA studio for ya.
Think about it, if this is the norm of advancement in game dev, then Star Citizen is actually exceptionally far for the time they needed so far. Starfield has given Star Citizen a good 5 more years to come out and not be bland and shallow in a mess of excuses of limitations of a dated engine. And it was based on an old engine too. There is no "duh take a better engine and it all will be good" if the heads of the design team don't have a vision that actually makes sense.
My thoughts precisely. I actually loved the unity it was the one and only point in the game that made me feel anything. However as soon as NG+ hit I was done. Being starborn made no difference, you couldn't add backgrounds and traits (which alone would not be enough, just better), this isn't even really a multiverse scenario. You are time traveling, but there is no benefit to time traveling. There was no grand threat that required you to time travel. The legit only point was to get stronger, and WHY would ANYONE want to get "stronger" there was no "need" for that strength, and without a challenge creating that need it is POINTLESS!
Lol this was great, make more videos like this. Crazy good. Lol i was already thinking that Todd Howard has this "Micheal Scott" quality about him but it really comes thru in this video lol

I’ve been watching a lot of long format Starfield reviews - how am I only stumbling across this one now? This was incredible, brilliant work.
It’s also a great example of AI-generated content used in a way that compliments the creator’s vision and genuinely enhances the final product, rather than merely serving as an easy way to pad content - which itself feels like a meta-dig at the game.
I expected to exit from fullscreen to see this video having millions of views.
