- Sup guys! Silver Lake Prerunner Invasion 2019 was pretty rad! Here's the video! We looked hard for a jump and only found one that I couldn't get the wheels off the ground on. Damn, you guys straight roll like the Cali crews. Tacos, burritos, flatbills... STILL can't believe there's a pocket of that in Michigan. There's a lot of prejudice against us Californians a lot of places. Makes me happy that there's a place out there that embraces even a little bit of what I love from home.
Yea man it's pretty awesome. We definitely look up to the California guys for sure. One good thing is we are all a big community and are all friends. I've heard it's a bit different in California.
@@Dialed There can be some unhealthy rivalries between the different big recreational prerunner crews. I'm not gonna name any names, but I'm sure you know of the biggest one. Some of it comes from the sheer size of the desert motorsports community. It's sad that even some of the old timers perpetuate that kinda stuff. I want to visit Silver Lake some time and see first hand how you guys roll.
@@gravitygear yea it's a bummer for sure. We all just need to drive our trucks and shut up lol. But that would be sick man. This place is crazy when the wind changes direction and lips up the dunes. It's like a supercross track for trucks.

Sometimes he wears a helmet when he really needs to, he has videos with them wearing 'em.

Do it dude. My truck had a 4.0 before the 5.0 swap. It was so fun letting that thing rip!
Depends on how big you wanna go. Best bang for the buck is a mid travel setup with 2.5 coilovers in the front and 2.5 triple bypass in the rear with new leaf springs. You can jump small stuff and hit moderate speeds in the whoops. LT is a big jump up from a basic MT setup and requires body mods and lots of supporting mods.

No video of the actual accident. We have our chins up, and are starting to render some CAD drawings of the repairs. We'll be back!

@@jerimiemccord3303 - Sorry, I just meant music playing with the video, didn't mean the style. I know what you mean though because in some videos that people make the music can take away from the video all together.
