How does the FIA limit CFD usage? What's stopping some engineer from running basic models on a private computer?

They control the transferring of the files. So if a file was shared to a personal computer and opened. The FIA/F1 would see that. There are ways around this I won’t go into here but that’s how it’s controlled.
