I changed out the rears on my 2007 Tacoma a month ago. No issues with the aftermarket shoes.

Only some time you on traffic slow moving make noise other than that no issues.

Yes, sometimes at a slow stop but not bad. From what I saw in your video, nothing has changed since 2007, the brakes are the same.
