- The 17-year-old driver of a speeding Porsche that crashed into a motorcycle in Pune, resulting in the deaths of two people on Sunday, was granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board. The father of the teenager who was driving the luxury car and the bar that served him alcohol is detained. The fatal accident occurred in Pune early Sunday morning, when the speeding car hit a motorcycle, killing its two riders, Anis Awadhiya and Ashwini Costa, at around 3:15 am.

In the aftermath of all this, Vedant Agarwal was simply asked write 300-word essay on "the ill-effects of drunk-driving" by the court, he must learn traffic rules and get him into a de-addiction centre. The police demanded that Vedant should be tried as an adult but the judges in the court rejected this plea and chose to try him as a minor. One judge is also reported to have said "that this is not a too serious a crime."
And that was the end of that. I swear I am not kidding, you can check the news. 😂😂😂😂😂😂Man! I love India!

If this 17 year is getting bail just like that, then the modus operandi of criminals will look into this easy way to set score without going to jail.

Pune CP has been delivering rich English right since beginning. But police actions are far away - no urine sample was collected, blood sample was taken after allowing nearly 10 hours post consumption of alcohol, friends of the victims were detained by police so that they can’t tell what exactly happened… the list can go on. Yet, CP is emphatically ensuring that justice will be served !!!
Did RTO Pune checked the car sale details ? It was on temporary registration at Bangalore pending RTO pune registration. Earlier Bangalore was known for high-end luxury car illegal deals.

Aside being about rich or poor, parents are one of the main problem. The rich encourage underage driving in luxury cars, the upper middle class gives the steering of their car to their minor kids and put those pics on social media with pride, the lower middle class or poor families handover their 2-wheeler to kids without even teaching them about rules/regulation. Apart from corruption and loopholes in the law, our society is to blame for most of such incidents.
