Hi Matt. Thanks for the great tutorial. I have a question. My created a similar model like yours. After I associated the nodes with polygon geometry, I run a check. All the nodes along 0°, 90°, 180° still do not associate to geometry. I tried to solve this by associating the nodes manually, without success. Could you show a demo on how to repair (associate) these nodes? Thanks in advance...
thanks alot for the video, i have a question about meshing for thermal analysis, a simple cilinder D40mm H 20mm and one led 9w over it...do you know the best way to meshing the cilinder?
Could you help me solve the problems. ERROR No material associated to mesh "Solid(1):3d_revolved_mesh(1)_morphed_morphed_morphed". Either no material is assigned to the mesh container or some of the underlying geometry (body) do not have a material. SUGGESTION: Apply a user defined material to the mesh container or to all of the underlying geometry (body).
maivan dinh you have not assigned a material to the mesh collector that contains your 3D Mesh. Right click on the mesh collector and edit the solid property and assign a material. Thanks.
That was a work of art. Well done!
Dear Matthew,
Great "lectury" - very helpful ! Thanks for support :)

Fine example of meshing
If you have any requests then please ask???
