    This is so helpful - I just recorded a podcast, had to fix an audio issue and adjust everything to look 'right' and this was a lifesaver. Thank you!

    Thank you SO much for this! I was literally editing a podcast recorded through riverside and was customising in Premiere. Couldn’t for the life of me figure out workarounds to scaling footage for different formats and copying effects etc. This is soooo incredibly helpful and is just the thing I needed. ❤❤❤

    Great Video, Kelsey. I've been hosting an audio podcast for a few years and have had a video production company near Boston for over thirty years. It would be fun to do a video podcast once in a while, so thank you for the encouragement and tools to make it happen.

    Hey! Big fan here. I have a small channel on youTube. I use Adobe Premier Pro to edit. It has taken me almost a year to learn the software and everything else I need to make a descent video. If I could say anything to ppl just starting out, I would tell them to watch all of your videos. I wish I would have found your channel 1 year ago. ALL of your content is meaningful to me. Nice job. Keep em coming......😃

    Thank for the great info again @Premiere Gal ! I am not sure if we can use this.... yyyeeetttttt..... but its always great seeing what you do and the ways you do it.
    We have for sure had trouble with some things. We tried Greenscreeen, then the runway AI, and finally premiere masking, all for the first time this week. It went poorly. Lol. But we did try and learn.
    I wish we could find or hire someone to consult with regarding our channel. We are steadily and organically growing at an ok rate (I think), but Mrs Tizzo and I would like to find someone to get advice about what we have done, where to go next, and how to improve our videos or the story we tell in the videos. Since we don't have that, it's a huge benefit to see how you edit videos, and learning tips to improve ours.
    Or, putting it a different way, THANK YOU!!!!

    Great work as always. A quick one, is there any way to save a logo as a template in Adobe Premier Pro so that it could be used over an over again?

    • @PremiereGal
      @PremiereGal  Рік тому

      yes, import the logo file into your essental graphics panel, then right click on the graphics layer in timeline and export as motion graphics template.

    This couldn’t have come at a better time ! I was just starting to bring some interviews out of the old storage and making clips for social media platforms, This is just what i needed THANKS SO much! I have just a few questions Kelsey 1. when using riverside does the person you’re sending the invite too also need a copy of riverside? 2. When duplicating the clips like your did for the background is there a way to seal those cuts to have a master bar ? 3. Lastly i love the vertical and layout format with all that you done to beautify it, Can premiere save these presets layouts you’ve made if you want to reuse it when dropping in new videos of other talks while keeping your mask setup? Love your content !

    • @PremiereGal
      @PremiereGal  Рік тому +1

      Hey Brad! great questions: (1) No, the guest doesn't need a riverside account, they can access the studio from the link you send them via the web browser. (2) I show this in the video, you just select all the clips and nest it to make it one master background clip (3) You can definitely save the guides as guide templates, you can also make your own placeholder nests which a mask applied to the nest, so all you have to do is drop in new media.

    How would you recommend combining split screens with multicam editing so that you can jump to each view?

    • @PremiereGal
      @PremiereGal  Рік тому

      You'd need to apply the mask to each source master clip -- Effect Controls and go to source and paste the mask effect.

    Many record a video conference or webinar. An idea for the episode could be how to edit this type of recording, improve the video image and sound quality in this situation, and cut before publishing. How to prepare video recording or streaming to get the best material for editing.

    • @PremiereGal
      @PremiereGal  Рік тому

      As I showed in the video at 4:09, Riverside has an audio level normalizer and background noise removal tool before you export which can help improve the sound quality. If you have some really bad background noise, I recommend an Ai vocal enhancer here (prf.hn/l/dlOdy5q) that can further removes noise from voice recordings. Try it out! And I show how to edit the podcast in both Riverside and Pr in this video :-) The benefit of using Riverside is that the split screens can adapt automatically to any resolution, in Pr you will need to manually move the video placements as demoed.

      @@PremiereGal yeah, been on with them for past 2 days trying to get it figured out. Every time they say it''s fixed and try again it still not there. It shows as an HTML file. Thanks for responding. Again love the content and am learning so much. Keep it up.

    Your instructions are very clear but it drives me nuts that some of these features are simply simpler to use. Manually aligning boxes...c'mon! I use several other Adobe programs that have this automated so that its far easier to implement. Rounding the corners should also be less cumbersome. I wish Premier included some of the ease of use its sister programs have. I mean, they're all in the same family!

    • @mKruter
      @mKruter Рік тому

      9:08 like in InDesign if you drag a container/box near the middle of your page a guide will automatically appear informing you of the middle and the container will kinda snap dead center. Why can't Premier incorporate that ease of use??

    • @PremiereGal
      @PremiereGal  Рік тому

      @@mKruter There are snap tools you can turn on from the Program Monitor wrench tool, but i agree it should be more intuitive. One work around is to make this into a template so you cna use it over and over again and drop in new footage into your nested mask, so you don't have to recreate it each time.

    • @mKruter
      @mKruter Рік тому

      @@PremiereGal thanks for the reply! btw although the software is not intuitive your instructions are very clear, so that certainly helps a ton. A template sounds like a great idea but I'd love to animate the mask/talking heads, so that when a person is talking (kinda like the AI option) that person gets bigger and the other gets smaller or disappears altogether. I don't expect that to happen automatically, I'd like to choose when to animate it, but it would be cute if the box shrunk down in a cutesy way. Just like a text box when animating a message dialogue. Make sense?
