In other states about 12 percent of Democrats have voted for someone other than Biden. For some it is a protest about the war between Palestine and Israel. I am a 15-year Texas transplant. I consider Texas home now and love and respect the state and its history, but I tell friends and family that the politicians/politics embarrass and frankly scare me. Not Jasmine Crockett. She makes me proud. I really hope Allred can pull an upset this fall and make me proud. I'm doubtful, but can always hope.
Texas history isn't so great either. Look up the origin of Juneteenth & reflect that Santa Anna's campaign was there to enforce the Mexican ban on slavery on it's own soil...not so much to be proud of after all. Don't forget the Alamo, but remember WHY it fell.
