    Saya punya teleskop itu, Tapi saya ada pertanyaan, Kalo mau liat Jupiter atau Saturnus lebih dekat harus pake Barlow lens atau Eyepiece berapa Milimeter? Soalnya ketika saya liat Saturnus, Kelihatannya kecil seperti bintang, Tapi keletan cincin nya, Gimana kalo saya mau liat Saturnus sampai dekat

    Question: Is it possible to use a T-Ring + T-Adapter for Mirror/Mirrorless cameras for this telescope?

    • @TelescopeIndonesia
      @TelescopeIndonesia  Рік тому

      Hi and thank you for the good question! 😁 Technically YES! you can use TRing and no need T Adapter as the end of the telescope tube has built-in thread pitch. But reality, we don't recommend that! Because StarSense Explorer LT 80AZ tripod is not that strong for photography with DSLR or Mirrorless cameras. So you might experience shaking view during photography or videography with cameras attached. For Smartphone photography is totally fine, but camera photography NOT recommended by us! If you want to attach DSLR or Mirrorless, you shall choose StarSense Explorer LT 5 AZ and above, which are totally fine with DSLR and Camera attachments. 😊

    Which eyepiece did you use to see saturn? Did you use barlow lens or digital zoom?

    • @TelescopeIndonesia

      Hi and thank you for your question! 😊 We didn't use Barlow or digital zoom. We only used 7-21mm Zoom Eyepiece and set it on 7mm. 😁

    Hello can you explain why I just see the planets as grey? Here is snow and cold does that affect planets showing up as grey? For example Jupiter does not look like Jupiter. It looks boring and grey. I use Celestron Starsense Explorer LT80Z

      As per “small optics” channel: a. Upgraded mirror diagonal (maybe dielectric 99% reflectance if you want to go for it), b. Upgraded eyepieces…SVBONY seems to have a very good reputation in the low price realm.

    I own this scope and its only good for looking at the moon. The app works only half the time and needs alliging to offten and the scope shakes like made if a fly farts with in 5 meters of it.
    I tried to view saturn and jupiter, and yes I can see them but as the scope shakes so much its near impossible to take a photo using a phone clamped to the eye piece.
    The barlow it comes with might as well go in the bin as its impossible to focus with.

    • @TelescopeIndonesia
      @TelescopeIndonesia  Рік тому +3

      Hi and thank you for sharing your experience with us. Based on what you say, we believe most problems you face is due to improper setup and operating the telescope. Why? Please read the points below:
      1: Well, beside the Moon in very nice details, you can observe Planet Saturn and it's rings, planet Jupiter and it's moons and it's belts, many Star Clusters like Butterfly Star Cluster, Peiades Star Cluster, Ptolemy Star Cluster, Hercules Star Clust, Omega Centauri Star Cluster and many more, beside bright nebulas like Great Orion Nebula and Apple Core Nebula, and also bright galaxies like Andromeda Galaxy.
      2: The app works perfectly and accurate, if you observe in a clear night or in a night that sky is less than 40% cloudy. And also make sure your phone is accurate aligned with the telescope. If you follow these standards, most of the time the app will work perfectly.
      3: We tried the scope even in a windy night and it just shaking very little as you can see in our close up moon video. It depends where you set up your telescope (on what surface) and also how long you open the tripod of the telescope. If you follow the standard procedure of observation you will face very little shaking even in a windy night.
      4: If it's impossible to take photo or video of Saturn and Jupiter, how come we easily record a video using a smartphone attached to this telescope without experiencing problems that you mentioned? :) Again it's totally depends how and where you set up the telescope and where you observe? And also how you observe? Have you used remote shutter to capture images?
      5: It depends which eyepiece you use with the Barlow? The Barlow gives focus with 25mm eyepiece with no issues.
      If you facing problems using StarSense Explorer LT 80 AZ, it's probably because of misusing it or observer errors. We recommend you contact the shop you purchased the telescope from and ask them to guide you how to use and observed with this telescope properly. If there is any information we can share with you do not hesitate to ask us! 😁🙏

      @@TelescopeIndonesia - I have to agree somewhat with Wayne - when you're trying to align everything, the whole scope moves and is "wobbly" so getting it all aligned properly is very hit and miss!

    • @TelescopeIndonesia
      @TelescopeIndonesia  Рік тому +2

      @@paulwatson5030 Hi and thank you for your comment. 😊 Well, if you read the reply we gave to Wayne, most of the problems is due to user error and the way user assemble or operate the telescope. As you can see in our videos or reels, we don't have any problems with StarSense app alignment or capturing images or recording videos from celestial objects using StarSense Explorer LT 80AZ! A quick hint, do not expand your tripod to its max, and expand it 20 cm less than its max limit, it will highly reduce the vibration (if any!) 😁

      @@TelescopeIndonesia - I did read it and that's what made me respond. With several degrees including a Masters in Electronic Engineering, I am no stranger to precision and accuracy! The build of this is somewhat lacking, in that various components (finder scope, phone mount, etc) all move when you're trying to adjust them - which causes all sorts of error in the alignment.

    • @TelescopeIndonesia
      @TelescopeIndonesia  Рік тому +1

      @@paulwatson5030 All sorts of error in adjustments? Can you please clarify what errors? And why we don't face these errors? You can see in our videos, especially our shorts, that the telescope is exactly on the target that the StarSense App shows! Check our StarSense Explorer LT 80AZ shorts and you will see your self. So how come it works perfectly fine, as you can see in those videos? Or how come we can get good pictures with smartphone attached to the eyepiece of this telescope, without any issue or shaking? 😊

      Thank you for your comment and feedback. Regarding to your failure of operating the telescope, we would like to highlight the facts below:
      1: StarSense Explorer LT 80AZ telescope is a perfect telescope for beginners in astronomy to observe not only the moon in high details, but also Planet Jupiter, it's atmospheric clouds and it's moons, Planet Saturn and it's rings, Planet Venus, nebulas like great Orion nebula, galaxies like Andromeda Galaxy and star clusters like Pleiades, Hercules and Ptolemy in good details.
      2: The StarSense Explorer App will help beginners in astronomy to navigate the night sky easily, even if they don't have any background knowledge of Astronomy.
      3: We are official distributor of Celestron in Indonesia, and an official company and business, not a reseller, so all marketing materials, all sample videos and images we make are 100% genuine and true, because unlike some sellers in Indonesia, we respect our customers and viewers trust. If we do false marketing or fake information, it will directly affect our brand and company image in Indonesia.
      So based on facts above, we are sure your failure is 100% due to user error in operating the telescope and observing the night sky properly. So if you want, we can help you and guide you how to operate your StarSense Explorer LT 80AZ properly and troubleshooting your observation experience, so you see how your telescope can show you much more than the "Moon"! 😁
