I liked this video, very informative...I am trying to get a set up like this, but I need full body shots.. what would you recommend?

Id light a white backdrop with one light on each side. Preferably with softboxes.

This is fascinating. Especially just using two lights to make that second photo. Those new lenses look like they have exceptional flair resistance, too. The end results are fantastic.

Thanks Bob! They’re great! Next week I have a video with the 28-70 v the 70-200 at 70mm and one of them did flare but I forgot which. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I just tried your method with the softbox as the backdrop, and put a key light to my right and omg the results were fantastic

Thank you. I find the setup diagrams especially helpful. The 2 light setup is my favorite.

Curious how often you are using your 70-200 f4 RF for portraits? I'm still teetering on picking one up and to use it for candid out door shots as well. The 1 pound weight and size is what is really attracting me to that lens. I saw Tamron offers a Sony E mount 35-150 f2-2.8 for the same price as the canon 70-200 f4 rf. That would be a intriguing option if they offer that in RF mount.

That does sound like a very interesting lens. I have been testing my RF70-200 f4 against other lenses and its a great value, it does have some short commings. Here are two videos I already poseted and I will have a third one Monday with the 28-70 f2. ua-cam.com/video/uGXTsV5YLgY/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/qxEovwpCPIM/v-deo.html

Hi, John. Does the 2/3 over exposer come from theory or experience?
