Not specifically. But in regards to physics like poisseuelle flow, stokes, boundary layer, complete navier stokes, free surface, compressible... With validation. It would be really great learning to us and industries as there are no rich resources in the market that motivates people to move away from commercial solvers.
@@prasanthvemula_nv I do have some videos on my channel, validation is always a bit more difficult. I want to do possibly videos on such basics in 2023.
Thank you for making this video, it is well-explained and useful. Autodesk CFD was soooo much easier to use than OpenFOAM IMO. Is there an Open Source CFD program with a user friendly GUI out there for simple simulations?
One problem I'm having is that the "surfaceFeatureExtract" has been superseded and replaced on newer versions of OpenFoam (I'm using the latest version v10), so the mesh creation process isn't working. How to create a surfaceFeaturesDict that acts just as the surfaceFeatureExtractDict would be a great tutorial !

S tier content right here. This was very helpful for getting a more intuitive understanding. Thanks for the analogy and great video!
I am glad it helps!
Thanks for the detailed explanation!
You made me understand what I've been trying to learn in weeks! I wish I found this sooner!
Nice introduction to this Openfoam toolset. Very explanatory. Arrivedeci !

OMG! Very long awaited for something like this. Please do a some tutorials on using openfoam for CFD with different modules in windows...
Do you mean e.g. a transient case?

Thanks for the amazing contents
Thanks for the content. I like OpenFoam.
I am glad it helps.
I know that I'm quite late, but a transient incompressible flow template using the large eddy turbulence model would be great!
How to apply inflation layer is there a timestamp
can you please provide, case study for dsmc solver?
Hi I enjoy your tutorials. Can you make a tutorial on wave and wave3D of multiphase flow Interfoam solver ??
Thank you for making this video, it is well-explained and useful.

Maybe someone has used Omniverse for CFD?
Possibly HelyxOS or the FReeCAD CFD plugin may help you set up your OpenFOAM cases.
@@benveasey7474 Unfortunately not me.
How good is Autodesk CFD Josef ?
Have you ever performed similar simulations using SU2?
No, unfortunately I am not familiar with SU2.

How to create a surfaceFeaturesDict that acts just as the surfaceFeatureExtractDict would be a great tutorial !
Yes, a lot of the syntax changed in the .org version. Unfortunately, I can only support the .com version (v2212) with my tutorials.
Why change version? Is there anything needed in the new version?
do we need a cad software before moving to openfoam?
Yes. Freecad, Salome or blender are good open source alternatives.
thanks, so helpful@@OpenFOAMJozsefNagy
