How are you running openfoam on windows? Do you use WSL to run Linux and installed openfoam on it? That’s just a guess as you didn’t provide much information

## urgent to know I want to simulate a rotation with complex interactions between the item and viscous liquid. Specifically, that is problem 9 in 2020 IYPT. Is Openfoam proper to do that? Or any advice for a better software? Thanks.
You’re talking about magnetic levitation? I don’t think Openfoam can simulate electromagnetic physics. Not sure if any software has electromagnetic-fluid interactions… fluent?

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Looks like you are on a machine which doesn’t have a X Server, so paraview can’t open its graphic window. Are you on a virtual cloud machine? Or are you on the windows bash ? In the first case, you can install a special version of paraview with Mesa to use paraview without X server ( that’s a bit complex to set up but doable). In the 2nd case, you can install the windows version of paraview and open your openfoam results in windows/paraview rather than using the paraview version shipping with openfoam.
