This was at a time when brothers and sisters used to break out their best “bougiewear” when they came out to party. Guys would be all suited up and the ladies were classily dressed as well.
There was a lot of UK soul music that came out in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Loose Ends was always at the top of my playlist. Check out their album “Zagora” especially Stay A Little While, Slow Down and Nights of Pleasure

This was my jam back in the day!! I was in high school when this dropped! Loose Ends has always been one of my favorite groups. It's too bad that they are all at odds with each other and will never get back for a reunion tour.

This sound is identified with places like dance halls and broke bars from where they live the islands, Europe and even over here! Back then it was hot with a lot of heat waves and our dad's most was drunks and this song came out at a time after with that 70s feel in the 80's.Your at the surface of catching the beat bc of your time!❤
