Yes Della it was very unfair for Bernie!!! However were the reasons why Bernie couldn’t keep going on holby city she deserved a better ending. They both deserve a better ending!!! Killing Bernie also killed Serena and a very important part of holby city!!! After all they went together, as team workers, as friends and as lover’s they definitely deserved a better ending!!! I always thought that Serena would be leaving holby soon, after loosing Bernie Serena was not more the “same” and it was time to go too. However could and should have been in a better way for both of those two!!! Holby city it’s not the same since Bernie died, it’s a empty place and none of the new “people” have the same power that Bernie and Serena had it!!! @@audreydrummond3229 it’s hard to believe and “accept” Bernie death and I keep my opinion: it was very empty the way Holby City did the tribute to Bernie!!! We know that anyone in a show get paid to pretend to be some one else but they did a great job together. For the first time working together and they never met before holby they were amazing, it was great to see the chemistry between both in every little scene, as friends, as team work and as lovers. whatever were the reasons why Bernie couldn’t keep going on holby they should have think in a better way to “ending” Bernie. They could always be back, even if just for a few scenes. We know they have a life, as family and also on theatre, but could have been different. I was happy to see Serena leaving Holby, she’s a great actress and it’s time to have Catherine Russell on Theatre or in another tv show, not be always as Serena. Holby City is a great drama tv show and there’s a good group of people working there but they need a few “horses” any other time to give a little more life to the show and have Serena and Bernie back definitely would be great even if just for a few scenes. Let’s think that all this time Serena was away she found out that Bernie is alive and all Bernie “death” was planned by Alex using the explosion on the hospital that Bernie was working as a way to don’t have Bernie thinking about her future with Serena...they dream house...so this way Alex could to keep Bernie just for herself 😉
