Susan, I lived in Buckfield in my younger days. Moved to S. Paris when I was 7. After marriage moved to Oxford. Left Maine when we were 65. Moved to N. Fort Myers Fl. 2015. Love your show. You are so positive!
The First House, Wow, I wouldn't know where to start!!!! The Second Home reminded me of my Childhood Home. LOVE the Stairwell as well!!!! The Third House is probably my FAVE!!!! But it would set you back sooooooo MUCH MONEY, just for the Paint!!!! Yeah, ALOT to keep up!!!! Off-Topic - LOOOOOVE your Blouse!
Maine is very pretty but winters are cold and work is not easy to find in rural areas. The first would be a cute retirement home all fixed up cute. ❤❤❤
I drive past the small place in Milo several times a month, it`s got fair bones but will need a bunch of work. A great home for investment if you have the skills or a crew. It`s really scary here, no street lights or cell service and we eat deer,,, Pretty sure the green place in Buckfield is haunted, but that`s just a feeling. 😉
Please give me more details about the $15,000 plus home in Maine! I've been to Maine and throughout New England and would love to live the rest of my days there!
People don’t want run down houses in the middle of nowhere even if it’s 15,000. They want the coast! I live here and believe me it would be nice if more of Maine were explored.
I'd definitely have a termite inspection on the first house part of it looks a lot older than 1940.Like an addition was added in 1940. Just Um ,🤔🤠 It's close to the water that's a plus.
This could be a seasonal home 6 months and Florida 6 months. The storage tank probably uses kerosene seeing it’s outside and winters are so cold. House may even have town water and sewer. Definitely a fixer upper at the price of a used car. Happy New Year 🎆 to you. We stayed at home. All the best.
Watch out for termites on these less expensive wooden houses.I don't think I have them but my neighbors down the block built in the 1800's had them.He sold it to a city rehabilitation group LLC for $25,000 .They deserved it too
Thanks for the showing Susan. All of them were interesting choices. I think all would be awesome homes with a little hard work. The only problem is I would freeze. Love Main ,such a beautiful state in the summer. 😊 Hope you had a great start to this new year. Love your channel . Cheers 👍
Made mac 'n cheese and beans & greens (using blackeyed peas), lit the Chanukah candles, and studied for my CEU test (paid tax preparer), and listened to about an hour's worth of fireworks that sounded as if they were in my living room. Wishing blessings and prosperity for everyone here for 2025, and I hope you find your perfect house. Shalom.

Pretty sure your back porch on the first house is a wood shed.

I almost bought a property in Bucksport ME about 6 years ago. Much more bang for the buck in northern Maine. Can you highlight current listings there?
