Another fascinating video. I'm glad no one rebuilt the castle. The ruins seem a beautiful place in which to remember Oda Nobunaga. Thank you once again.

The burned castle was left untouched for 300 years until 1918. That’s why you can feel Nobunaga from the ruins.
Thank you as every week ;)
Thank you for watching every episode. See you next Saturday.
Great video, thank you very much!

A great explanation and walk through of the Azuchi castle ruins. I didn't know it was on a peninsula but the location makes more sense that way.
Thank you for your comment. The castle must have been the most beautiful.
See you next Saturday.

👍
Nice video. Was there a residence for Tokugawa Ieyasu at Azuchi castle?! since he was also one of Nobunaga’s seconds alongside Toyotomi Hideoshi.
There is no residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu. But Nobunaga invited him to the castle. You can see the dishes Ieyasu ate at Nobunaga no yakata museum.
Nobunaga's remains were never recovered after the fire at Homonji.
Is that tomb where the cremated status, of agar wood, rests?
Nobunaga’s sword and Eboshi ( formal hat ) was buried here.
Got it
Thanks
I have decided if I am to move from my birthplace country, it will be to Japan.
Great and Good luck.
