Yes, the ex- German ‘Imperator’ of Hamburg-Amerika lines ceded to Cunard after the first War as the Berengaria. White Star received her larger sister-ship (third of this great German trio) and named her ‘Majestic’. The United-States line took the second sister after ‘Imperator/Berengaria, and named her ‘Leviathan’. The great trio came together in a famous photo in Southampton in 1922. Much larger than the Titanic and her two sisters, this great trio held the honour of having the largest liner in the world in the form of the ‘Majestic’. They all served their new British and US masters with aplomb and grace gaining reputations as some of the best liners of their time. Albert Ballin would have been proud in spite of his losing the three of them to the Allies as war reparations, but he never lived to see them in these roles.
@@steamboatwill3.367 You never worked in shipyard. There is no such a thing a "floating dry dock". Dry dock is a massive concrete construction permanently built in a hard ground. Never changes its geographical position. While floating dock always stay on the surface of water. Either surfaced or submerged in water but always on the water. Floating dock can be towed to any geographical place on the Earth. All new ships are always constructed in dry docks. You can fix them too in dry docks. You do not built brand new vessels in floating docks. They serve only for renovation and repairing of older or damaged ships.
Remarkable to have sound with this---and the sound quality so good. Great to see the great liner Imperator/Berengaria.

This is not a dry dock. It is a floating dock.
