I want to point out that MyCroft is only an asshole to protect his brother because he believes that love leads to heartbreak and pain.

Maycroft de certa forma desprezava envolvimentos emocionais, pois, acreditava que provocavam dor, porém nunca conseguiu parar de amar seu irmãozinho e sofria do mesmo jeito.
Se era pra sofrer de qualquer forma, teria sido melhor se ele tivesse sucumbido a um amor na história (fosse por uma mulher ou por um homem).
Se eu tivesse criado esse personagem teria lhe dado uma companheira, mas, aínda bem que o personagem não é meu, pois não teria sido tão lindo quanto é... complexo, poético, intenso.
In my opinion it was hinted in s3 and 4 that he has sort of a relationship or maybe just a fling with lady smallwood. I mean in s3 end the scene was there that she asked him for drinks and in s4 lying detective, there was a scene where both if them were having argument and she mentioned whether she would be thrown out like last time and he said I have apologised enough how would I make up for that , then scene with eurus saying "sex" came up the exact moment 😂. Maybe I am thinking too much but I guess they are sort of together in the series or atleast are in a physical relationship.
@@mg-cx5tv Faz sentido a tua interpretação, eu apenas nunca tinha ligado com a sequencia da cena de Eurus. Muito interessante isso.
Também tem uma cena em que Sherlock liga para Mycroft para chama-lo para o casamento de John Watson e Mycroft estava ofegante, então Sherlock pergunta se ele estava fazendo sexo ou exercício. Mas diz que aposta na segunda opção!
E também há uma crença canônica de que existe algo entre ele e Lestrade. Porém Mark Gatiss já negou esta possibilidade numa entrevista, justamente alegando que Mycroft não gosta de toques físicos. Acho que de certa forma o roteiro deixa a possibilidade em aberto para cada um imaginar o que melhor lhe aprouver.
