Hahaha is funny that John has to say that he is not gay all the time. When a man is straight he doesn't need to say it, he just is. Obviously, not John's case
@@UnopinionatedBystander2393sorry for replying to such an old comment, but I'm pretty sure it was to show Sherlock's emotional development around John. He looks happier around him because he is happier. Without John, Sherlock is what he was before. A sad freak with no friends
Molly says that after talking about her own father who looked happy in front of everyone but begin sad when he thought theu can't see him. According to Molly that's the same for Sherlock. Let's not forget when Sherlock literally asks him out on a date. Sherlock: We're going out tonight John: I can't, I've got a date Sherlock: What's that? John: It's when two people who like each other go out and have fun Sherlock: Yeah that's what I was saying. 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏
sai Indurthi Irene was more like someone to mess around with I guess. At some point, I started shipping johnlock and was like “Irene move over you’re in the way. YOU TOO MARY. AND MOLLY. AND ANYONE WHO TRIES TO DATE JOHN AND SHERLOCK.”
YES LITERALLY THE FACT THAT JOHN SHAVED HIS FACIAL HAIR WHEN SHERLOCK SAID HE DIDN'T LIKE IT. HE WOULD GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO CHANGE HIS APPEARANCE FOR HIM.
Daily reminder, Sherlock always correct people when they are wrong. BUT he DIDN’T say anything about him and John dating when people say that they are a couple.

Even Mycroft ships them. And Mycroft knows basically everything about Sherlock. In the first episode, he asks John, if he should expect a happy announcement at the end of the week. He is suprised his brother let someone so close to his heart, as it's not something Sherlock ever even tried. Mycroft asks John to look after Sherlock. He knows that John can convince Sherlock to almost everything if he wants do. In the last episode Mycroft, the most important person in England, is willing to die, so John and Sherlock stay together. If this isn't proof, then I don't know what is.
Also mycroft doesn't trust anyone, and was always skeptical of john in the beginning. But when Sherlock nearly oded in the abominable bride, the look on his face as he *quietly* asks John to look after him. The tiny please. He TRUSTS John to make sure his brother doesn't do something like overdosing.
Also he does make a suggestive comment in the first episode when he asks John to watch Sherlock. Basically summing up to don't worry you don't need to tell me about your sex life with my brother
I am lucky girl because I ve just watch first time this summer on Netlix whole Sherlock (several times already because I so love it). I CAN'T even imagine what I would do to have to wait between each episode or season.... !!!! Impossible!

Sherlock: _is dying_ Moriarty: Mrs. Huddson would be sad. Sherlock: I shall not hear thee. Moriarty: All of your loved ones would be so heart broken. Sherlock: ya'll hear sumn? Moriarty: John will be in danger and you won't be there- Sherlock: _opens eyes_ oh look what a great day to breathe
I was talking to my homophobic mother about some show she was watching and she said “it’s the first show I’ve watched in a while without a gay couple.” At first I was frustrated that she said this but then I realized Mom We’re watching Sherlock together I have never seen her acknowledge LGBT characters And yet... She considers this show to have a same sex couple
We all thought he was gay, even all the homophobes knew along with the gays! When Gays and homophobes agree on something to do with liking the same sex then you know that the thing they agreed on is cold, hard, true facts
Or how when they stop seeing each other after the marriage, when asked, John says he hasn't seen Sherlock "...in forever." Mary corrects him, "It's been a month." To John, the time apart from Sherlock is agonizingly long.
@@prakash-fn6cx Honestly. I don't know if it's bad writing, but Season 4 was a slap to the face (and sure I liked some points but that One Point made me so angry) and Mary's death??? Just like that???
@@forestgreenking so true and even the scene was so underwhelming. No one was crying and the cause of her death was very unsatisfactory I mean looking at the plot and her personality and background. Maybe they were trying to make it less dramatic as possible but it turned out to be way too less dramatic.
@@prakash-fn6cx I think it's because we know she'd die, but not that abruptly; I just finished my first (and probably only, lol) viewing of Sherlock, and Mary's death made me laugh out loud. There was so much going that should be happening but it didn't for some reason, and bear with me because I didn't really get back to it: -Mary jumping in front of a bullet was time to the bullet shot, not the gun raised; if it was raised, then her jumping would be...understandable. -Which isn't because she's an ex-assassin who knows how to shove a man down to protect both of them (or at least, be grazed by the bullet) -John the Army Doctor who apparently forgot everything that should be done to help save a person's life from a bullet wound. (Sherlock lived in the same bullet hit, didn't he?) -Mycroft and his crew without any first-aid? Lestrade and the police without any aid? Nothing? No? -John just appearing actually lol. And John's reaction, "You made a vow"? Hilariously misplaced OOC (this is another that I hate besides Cheating Watson, which is haphazardly emotional Watson) Just. Man. I don't know. It's just really, really sad that this is how it went for Mary, and her weird cameos in the next eps.
unless you want to watch a show you care about tumble down a hill of mind-boggling writing decisions, probably keep it on the never seen. This is coming from a place of love
There’s also in The Blind Banker when sherlock says “I need some fresh air, we’re going out tonight.” And John says “actually, I’ve got a date” and Sherlock replies with “a date?” And John says “It’s when two people who like each other go and have fun” or whatever and then Sherlock just says “oh. that’s what I was suggesting”
As a straight cis male, I am chomping at the bit for an openly gay portrayal of Watson and Holmes. I think they are perfectly suited for a raw but fun portrayal of the struggles of hiding such a relationship in the late 1800s-early 1900s. I would prefer to see a sociable, desirable Sherlock that people expect is simply too eccentric to be caught by a woman, while Watson is a traditionally masculine veteran struggling with the repression he had to enforce in himself while in the military. Mary would come in to provide a cover for Watson, helping to keep social suspicions mitigated, and hopefully she would get to be an active participant in the OTP’s antics without coming across as a wet blanket or third wheel.
you could check out The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes... it's an old movie in which sherlock pretends that john is his partner "for a case". I've heard it's pretty good but tbf i haven't watched it so I don't know if it really fits.
The many ways to say "I love you,": "Ily" "I'm romantically interested in you and your specific personality" "You are physically and emotionally interesting in a romantic way" " Sherlock is a girl's name" Edit: woah this got a lot of likes, thanks
I got this from a post online but: John's reaction to Irene's nudity: "could you please put some clothes on?" John's reaction to Sherlock's nudity: *glances down at Sherlock's lap*
They had absolutely NO reason to add "Like me" to his lines. We could have understood it and moved on just fine, but they DID IT and there's no way to explain that! NONE at ALL! *At least, not in a straight way.*
If the worlds only and best consulting detective, says they're flattered and thought you were flirting, or something like that. You ain't hiding it well
When they had the conversation, not yet. By the time John shot the cabbie? YES. And we are forgetting Mycroft..."you met three days ago, you are now sharing a flat and solving crimes together, might there be a happy announcement by the end of the week?"
when john said “i’m not gay”, irene said “well, i am”. we know irene is attracted to sherlock so she means i am gay but i like him and you are not gay but you like him.
When I rewatched s3, I noticed something... When John's visiting Baker Street (two years after Sherlock's "death"), he tells the news to Mrs. Hudson. First, "I'm moving on" and then, "I've met someone" (meaning Mary). Why John would say so in the first place, if he didn't love Sherlock (and you know what I mean). "I'm moving on" would be totally normal. Like, I'm moving on, accepting that Sherlock ain't coming back. But then he says "I've met someone", which makes that first line meaning different, than just "accepting friend's death". That sounds like..."my boyfriend is dead. I've met the love of my life, and I'm finally moving on.". Or when a couple divorces, and then he says "I'm moving on" after X time. And then John says "we're getting married." And then Mrs. Hudson asks "so soon after Sherlock?" and John doesn't deny that, nor even think about that! He just casually says "well, yes", like they would've been together or something!
ahm, yes... It can be see in this way, but you know: the creator of this show never said that wanted to show romance between them. So, in the end, they're just best friends...
People never talk about this but when John says to Irene : "I'm not actually gay" she answers "well I am and look at us both" and it shows Sherlock is their exception ? And after that John doesn't correct her ? LIKE ? AM I ALONE ON THIS ?
No, nonono, please don't do this - Irene was not in love with Sherlock, she was scared and desperate and used him. They ended up respecting and, in a way, care for each other by the end of the episode, but they were never in love. John is bisexual and in love with Sherlock, Irene is a lesbian and she never was! The "look at us both" refers to them PRETENDING that they have different feelings for him than what they actually have.
@@like-a-linda7058 but Sherlock did mention how her pulse was racing when she touched him and when his name was her hard drives passcode he tells her how love became her weakness. She did have something for him though.
@@anuinam we were shown a racing puls twice in she show, the other time it was Ms. Hudson. Tell me, was she also in love with Sherlock? No, she was scared. Why would they draw this parallel if not to give us a hint towards Irene's true motivation? About the sher-locked, that one I admit can be interpreted in multiple ways, but I believe the explanation that she went overboard and used what she thought was Sherlocks greatest problem in his analysing (namely that he never realises when people do things because they care about/love him, e.g. Molly's gift on Christmas) against him. She thought he would never suspect she had feelings for him, even though she played it like that, because he has been blind to other people's actual love the whole time. She did misjudge him though and the moment she says "it was just a game, all of it" is the moment she looks most scared and sincere in the whole episode, besides her "give it back" when Sherlock has her phone.
Actually when Sherlock was going to confess to John at season three before he never sees him again, he say " Sherlock is actually a girl's name". Not because he regretted confessing, was because he wanted to see John smiling and laughing for a last time.
Yeah, but you could see the sadness in his eyes when he says "John I want to tell you something.." (idk if I got the line correctly) and the shakyness in his voice so he really meant to confess something. But I totally agree with you, he wanted to see John's smile again cause he was sure he wasn't gonna see him again.
But maybe it was as well for the irony in it. If, I mean if John really uses the name Sherlock, then his daughter will be Sherlock Watson. Just the way Sherlock would be called if he married to John, right? And he suggested this, thinking he won’t ever meet him again in his life, so for the sake of keeping John’s life from being a mess, Sherlock willingly gave up confessing anything. Instead he left, hoping that John will use the name and thus fulfilling his only wish/desire(?) in life.
To be fair, from everything we know about Sherlock we sure know he doesn't want to hurt John unless he finds it absolutely necessary (like he thought in TRF), and by telling John that he loves him right before leaving on a suicide mission he'd mess him up pretty badly, especially since Mary has already "won" John (or so Sherlock thinks at least). I believe he contemplates it in that scene, but that he figures it just can't happen.
Moriarty: I will burn, the *HEART* out of you. Sherlock: I have been reliably informed that I don’t have one. Moriarty: BUT we both know that’s not quite true. Sherlock: oh shit
s k i p y d john is the heart and sherlock is the brain, they both need eachother. john depends on sherlock and fixes john mental conditions. (his limp, ptsd) sherlock depends on john, john helps him feel and act more human. john gives sherlock a heart.
Actually Mary (when John watches the tape she left before she died)tells him to take care of sherlock,"man we both LOVE". Made me feel like even Mary knew
Sadie Rainbowitz maybe because Cumberbatch was filming Marvel movies and each Sherlock episode is 60 +min like certain complete movies, so yes of course it takes forever.
I can't believe he didn't talk about how Sherlock's sister used her true appearence (when she looks the most like Sherlock) to lure John and she make herdelf as an light-haired woman WITH A WALKING CANE to lure Sherlock
That scene where they are drunk and John touches Sherlock’s knee and he is like: “I don’t mind” and then they are playing a this game and John says that the person on Sherlock card is “pretty” and the Sherlock says that the name in the card is John
Season 1: gay. Season 2: G A Y Season 3: Drama but. Still gay. Season 4: my ship is ov- *watch the end of the last episode* -Ho, I was worried, it's gay.
@@itexplodes3824 As you may remember in season 3th we find out that Mary is pregnant. So in the 4th season the baby was born and it was all dandy until Mary's past actually became a threat so some serious shit happened and guess what she died. Got shot instead of Sherlock specifically if you are interested. After that John is kinda depressed cuz well damn I guess he just can't have nice things recently. He also kinda blames Sherlock for Mary's death so that's why they don't really talk. But Mary predicted that and recorded a message for Sherlock in case she died in which she asks Sherlock to "save John". But because it obviously couldn't be so easy as John wouldn't want help from anyone Sherlock had to go through his whole plan of making everyone think that he is taking drugs again and basically getting in trouble eghem almost getting killed so John is the one "saving" him. So it gets better but there is still the last episode which is intense af (I really reccomend watching it by yourself so I'm not gonna spoil THAT much) and after that everything seems to go back to normal and John moves back to the Baker Street so he can live there with his daughter and Sherlock. Damn what an ending
In my opinion, sherlock made the joke instead of confessing, because he doesn't want to hurt John in some way, leaving with all the tension and awkwardness. So instead he decided the last thing he wants to see is John laughing. Just sayin'

*officially, as in, Sherlock officially acknowledges that Watson is his friend, not a flatmate, or an army doctor he drags around with him, but a cherished friend and deeply felt emotional connection. A vulnerability that he swore he would always live without. The scene in Baskerville was John showing that there was only so much of Sherlock ignoring and insulting him he would tolerate, because he is his friend and has been since day one, and Sherlock making himself emotionally vulnerable, and admitting that John is important to him as apology.
If i remember correctly in Baskerville when John was checking in they didn't had 2 separate rooms, so they had to share one. 🤔 *caughts* i think they had sex *caughts* Still in S2E2 when the bartender's husband asked if his bf (Sherlock) snorts too he just ignored the question.
The moment I figured they are a 100% in love was when my mother, who knows literally nothing about shipping, got A) veery confused at John marrying because she already thought he was with Sherlock and B) she literally said "Well at least they're dating now" after the whole it is what it is thing. So.. believe my mum. They're gay af.
Something similar happened to me two years or so ago when I started watching Dan and Phil videos. I didn't ship them (creepy AF), i just watched their videos on the telly, and my mom came to the conclusion that they were married or at least a couple lol

There was also that bit where John defines "date" as "where two people who like each other go out and have fun" and Sherlock says "That's what I was suggesting"
"He knew to use John as his soft spot." I can hear you smiling. I can hear you trying not to do the "fangirl squeal" throughout this whole video. I can hear you, I hear my own voice doing the same..
This is a petition for the bbc to bring back Sherlock for one final season where John and Sherlock raise Johns daughter together in Baker Street in absolute Sherlock style chaos. And with everyone assuming John and Sherlock are a couple they just one day decide to stop correcting people and then confess their love for each other and live happily ever after as one big happy crime solving family of geniuses.
Sherlock came up with the "Sherlock is a girl's name" joke because he didn't have the courage to confess his love, and nobody can convince me otherwise.
I think he did it becouse he didn't want to ruin john's relationship with mary And he told the joke for john to remanber him on a high note rather than a low one also to demonstrate that he is human and not a rock Did i do it?Did i change your mind?
He said it in the vague hope that he could convince John that he is a woman and so eligible (by John's apparent preference) to enter into a relationship with him
Okay, so here’s what I think Sherlock is Demisexual/Demi romantic. He never had a best friend before and thought being so damn in love with your best friend was normal. Then at the wedding he was like “well daaaaaaaaaaaaam I’m in love with that dude but he’s getting married now so....” John is homoflexable, meaning Rare attraction to the opposite sex. He also fell in love with Sherlock but had *internalized homophobia*™️. Then he thought Sherlock was dead and fell in love with Mary. So In short, their both in love with each other and I spend way to much time over analyzing this show.
SHERLOCK: John, there's something... I should say. I meant to say, always, and I never have. ME: "I love you" SHERLOCK: Since it's unlikely that we'll ever meet again, I might as well say it now. ME: SAY " I LOVE YOU" SHERLOCK: .... JOHN:.... SHERLOCK: Sherlock is actually a girl's name. JOHN: * laughs ME: *screams and yeets laptop across the room
I read an assumption that maybe as Sherlock knew he wouldn't see John for a long time or maybe never, the last thing he wanted to see was his smile, and he made it, he got john to smile 😔♡
I have a theory that Sherlock wanted to say something like "I love you" but chickened out at the last second because he wants everyone to think that he doesn't have feelings and can't feel love. Idk, I'm probably wrong, I just really want my ship to be canon
How could you not mention the part where Watson is basically confirmed gay in the scene where Sherlock finds out about Molly's new boyfriend (Moriarty) and says that (Moriarty) is gay because he uses hair product and John says "well I use hair product" and Sherlock just looks at him
John said Sherlock was “the most human human being” he had ever known. Jim Kirk said Spock’s soul was “the most human” he had ever encountered in his travels. The similarities between Spock and Sherlock are haunting me. (Edit: I wrote this before it was shown in this video🤣)
+My name's Whatsername as she said: Asexuals can develope a romantic attraction to another human being (I can confirm this as an actual asexual and polyromantic)
+LegendaryLifeOfLena So Sherlock could still be a homoromantic asexual. I could definitely see that; although personally, I think Johnlock is a queerbait. :( It took me a while to figure out that I'm biromantic asexual. For a long time, I thought I was just bisexual.
My name's Whatsername Well I'm a total Johnlock-shipper (OTP and stuff) but I get your point I needed a really long time to understand too. I thought I was just a bisexual either. Didn't quite work out well :D
+LegendaryLifeOfLena Nope. And I felt that one of my friends ( they're bisexual and agender) got their hopes up when I told them I was bi too. I felt so bad; they had a crush on me for all of 9th grade.
also in sherlocks mind molly said this to John “Oh, isn’t he observant now that Daddy is gone” daddy being Sherlock Oh dear this ain’t even close to being straight
Here's my theory for the airplane scene: Now, sherlock did have that build-up and it did seem like he was about to confess his love and that's because he w a s but he had second thoughts and didn't. Now, that's either because he'd rather not ruin John's relationship with Mary and make sure he doesn't mourn him more than he already would if he did die on his little mission OR because he was struck with sudden determination to survive or thought 'what if I do survive? I would ruin this friendship' and soooo he just said something random. Though not something too random because if they (John and Mary) were to name their child Sherlock, the full name would be Sherlock Watson :)
remember when sherlock RESTARTED HIS OWN HEART after his brain supplied the thought that "John Watson is definitely in danger." bc i still stay up @ night thinking abt it
John licking his lips after Sherlock said he didn't have a boyfriend. xD! I almost spit out the water I had just sipped. I also almost fell out of my chair. I wasn't ready. xD! Sherlock did NOT say boyfriends weren't his area!!! DDD::: I think John and Sherlock are definitely gay, but that we'll never see any real confirmation onscreen.
When the waiter thought that John was Sherlock’s date I literally spit out my water and then I said sorry because my dad was in the same room as me. And it kinda freaked him out
Even Mike ships them. He wrote a letter to John for his wedding saying how dare he marry a woman after going through so much trouble to find him a man.
Ok, so if they’re living in a flat with baby Rosie, and there are presumably only two bedrooms in this flat, and one of them is Rosie’s, then doesn’t that mean Sherlock and John would have to share a room? 👀👀
Noone can tell me that they are not together at the end of Tfp. Sherlock called John family, and that is the most important person in the life of someone and with whom you live with. When you watch other love movies, and at the point when the man tells the woman that she should be his family now, than is this a decision of love and means, I love you so much that I want to spent my life with you.
If Rosie is a baby then surely she would share a room with Sherlock or Watson. So either Sherlock and Rosie share a room or Watson and Rosie do. (PS: Sorry if I'm getting stuff wrong, I don't watch Sherlock)
@@trustmeimthedoctor5749 Yes, for sure, when she is so little like now, it is better. But I think, when Rosie is older, when she comes to school, then she want for sure his own room (I think Johns bedroom), and noone tell me differently. And Sherlock and John will share Sherlocks bedroom.
If you think there's a lot of eye sex here, you should see the way Holmes looks at Watson in the Granada adaptation. Hoo boy! Sherlock Holmes has never been straight.
Watson mentioned in the story "The greek interpreter: "His aversion against the female gender and against new friendships were significant for his somewhat uncomfortable character." Of course I agree with you. Sherlock Holmes was never straight.
In the books, John mentions several times that Sherlock hates women/ has a strong aversion to women. Yet, it is clear from his anger, however much anger Sherlock shows, when he sees men abuse women that he doesn't actually hate women. So I think that means he doesn't like them, but not not like them as people but as possible romantic/ sexual partners. That alone is sufficient evidence, in my opinion, that Sherlock was never even intended to be straight. There are points in John and Sherlock's relationship which I take as 'in love' which some might take as 'besties forever' but I think we can all agree that Sherlock was never meant to be straight, not even in the ye olden times where being gay was really dangerous.

Mycroft asks John to look after Sherlock. He knows that John can convince Sherlock to almost everything if he wants do.
In the last episode Mycroft, the most important person in England, is willing to die, so John and Sherlock stay together.

@@prakash-fn6cx I think it's because we know she'd die, but not that abruptly; I just finished my first (and probably only, lol) viewing of Sherlock, and Mary's death made me laugh out loud. There was so much going that should be happening but it didn't for some reason, and bear with me because I didn't really get back to it:
-Mary jumping in front of a bullet was time to the bullet shot, not the gun raised; if it was raised, then her jumping would be...understandable.
-Which isn't because she's an ex-assassin who knows how to shove a man down to protect both of them (or at least, be grazed by the bullet)
-John the Army Doctor who apparently forgot everything that should be done to help save a person's life from a bullet wound. (Sherlock lived in the same bullet hit, didn't he?)
-Mycroft and his crew without any first-aid? Lestrade and the police without any aid? Nothing? No?
-John just appearing actually lol. And John's reaction, "You made a vow"? Hilariously misplaced OOC (this is another that I hate besides Cheating Watson, which is haphazardly emotional Watson)

So, in the end, they're just best friends...

well, I should have taken an example of the Blind Banker episode when Sherlock basically was going to ask John out for a possible date.
People never talk about this but when John says to Irene : "I'm not actually gay" she answers "well I am and look at us both" and it shows Sherlock is their exception ? And after that John doesn't correct her ? LIKE ? AM I ALONE ON THIS ?
also the "actually" there. why he'd put the actually there? like, boy, i'm not actually straight either, but i've had a boyfriend for two years
Seriously, WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THAT??
This is exactly what I assumed the first time I watched that scene 🤧🤧💕
Yeah, but you could see the sadness in his eyes when he says "John I want to tell you something.." (idk if I got the line correctly) and the shakyness in his voice so he really meant to confess something.
But I totally agree with you, he wanted to see John's smile again cause he was sure he wasn't gonna see him again.
why would you even do that to my heart
shit, i wanna cry now
But maybe it was as well for the irony in it.
There are many ways to say 'I love you.'
'Sherlock is actually a girls name.'
yeah
Yeah :3
._. u just convinced me even more.
Johnlock is so fuckin' real!
To be fair, from everything we know about Sherlock we sure know he
doesn't want to hurt John unless he finds it absolutely necessary (like he thought in TRF), and by telling John that he loves him right before leaving on a suicide mission he'd mess him up pretty badly, especially since Mary has already "won" John (or so Sherlock thinks at least). I believe he contemplates it in that scene, but that he figures
it just can't happen.

So.. believe my mum. They're gay af.
Your mum is very wise. Legend
Malleus Scotorum when someone has a different opinion than you so you just call them idiots.
Something similar happened to me two years or so ago when I started watching Dan and Phil videos. I didn't ship them (creepy AF), i just watched their videos on the telly, and my mom came to the conclusion that they were married or at least a couple lol
@@OscarDirlwood OMG HAHAHHAAHAHAHAH Mate, I love you, you gave me some giggles.
I'm still not sure if you're just being a troll or really confused, but you gave me some giggles.
Have a nice day/night, you lovely human.
@@OscarDirlwood If you say so 😂😂😂
There was also that bit where John defines "date" as "where two people who like each other go out and have fun" and Sherlock says "That's what I was suggesting"
You are so right! I remember that scene perfectly!
Like, hONEY--
He has bad people skills this could ligament be him not knowing what a date is and thinking its just another name for people hanging out.
"He knew to use John as his soft spot." I can hear you smiling. I can hear you trying not to do the "fangirl squeal" throughout this whole video. I can hear you, I hear my own voice doing the same..
thank you other me
i thought i was the only one who heard the smile
are you staring at me through my screen-
How do u know this?-
Are you psychic or something wtf-
I'm sorry but can you please pay rent for living in my phone
BECAUSE YOUR SPOT FUCKING ON
This is a petition for the bbc to bring back Sherlock for one final season where John and Sherlock raise Johns daughter together in Baker Street in absolute Sherlock style chaos. And with everyone assuming John and Sherlock are a couple they just one day decide to stop correcting people and then confess their love for each other and live happily ever after as one big happy crime solving family of geniuses.

Solar system

Florentine Nice so true 😂
😂😂
Right???? 😂
I did a mini scream when I saw this
Why need to know the solar system when John is Sherlock's whole world?
Sherlock came up with the "Sherlock is a girl's name" joke because he didn't have the courage to confess his love, and nobody can convince me otherwise.
I think he did it becouse he didn't want to ruin john's relationship with mary
And he told the joke for john to remanber him on a high note rather than a low one also to demonstrate that he is human and not a rock
Did i do it?Did i change your mind?
i think he said that for the so-many-times he got rejected with a "im not gay" and its quite sad tbh
He said it in the vague hope that he could convince John that he is a woman and so eligible (by John's apparent preference) to enter into a relationship with him
@@flyingpigacorn6669 thought the same; maybe he was implying that if he was a girl they'd date or smth

Okay, so here’s what I think
Sherlock is Demisexual/Demi romantic. He never had a best friend before and thought being so damn in love with your best friend was normal. Then at the wedding he was like “well daaaaaaaaaaaaam I’m in love with that dude but he’s getting married now so....”
John is homoflexable, meaning Rare attraction to the opposite sex. He also fell in love with Sherlock but had *internalized homophobia*™️. Then he thought Sherlock was dead and fell in love with Mary.
So In short, their both in love with each other and I spend way to much time over
analyzing this show.
that's what i thought too
SHERLOCK: John, there's something... I should say. I meant to say, always, and I never have.
ME: "I love you"
SHERLOCK: Since it's unlikely that we'll ever meet again, I might as well say it now.
ME: SAY " I LOVE YOU"
SHERLOCK: ....
JOHN:....
SHERLOCK: Sherlock is actually a girl's name.
JOHN: * laughs
ME: *screams and yeets laptop across the room
He's just tryna say the name "Sherlock Watson" sounds pretty good to me, please use it... Which in some ways equals to "I love you" hahahaha
I read an assumption that maybe as Sherlock knew he wouldn't see John for a long time or maybe never, the last thing he wanted to see was his smile, and he made it, he got john to smile 😔♡
@@hillc439 That's really cute c":
This. This is my life in one comment.
I have a theory that Sherlock wanted to say something like "I love you" but chickened out at the last second because he wants everyone to think that he doesn't have feelings and can't feel love. Idk, I'm probably wrong, I just really want my ship to be canon
How could you not mention the part where Watson is basically confirmed gay in the scene where Sherlock finds out about Molly's new boyfriend (Moriarty) and says that (Moriarty) is gay because he uses hair product and John says "well I use hair product" and Sherlock just looks at him
THIS
Yep I so got that scene on my mind too.
yeah uh that's not how it works but 🤷♀️
Not basically he was trying to prove a point get ur fangirl goggles off its so annoyingggggg
Come on, I ship John and Sherlock but this is just homophobic
John: I'm not gay, I'm straight.
John: *Sees Sherlock* I'm Bendy?
S H O L T O
John is bi. He's had relationships with men before.
John had relationship with men?
Who? How?
and the ink machine
I'M BENDY.
And im... ALICE
John said Sherlock was “the most human human being” he had ever known.
Jim Kirk said Spock’s soul was “the most human” he had ever encountered in his travels.
The similarities between Spock and Sherlock are haunting me.
(Edit: I wrote this before it was shown in this video🤣)
Spock is actually canonically a descendant of Sir Arthur Conon Doyle
@@crystalwolcott4744 I know!! I read that some time ago and it's freaking mindblowing🤣
Also if I remember correctly, John called Sherlock Spock somewhere in season 1 or 2
Even if Sherlock is asexual he can still be romantically attracted to John
There is nothing anyone can say that will make me think Sherlock is not asexual.
It took me a while to figure out that I'm biromantic asexual. For a long time, I thought I was just bisexual.
My name's Whatsername
Well I'm a total Johnlock-shipper (OTP and stuff) but I get your point
I needed a really long time to understand too.
Headcanon:
The reason the show is called Sherlock and not Sherlock Holmes is because he changes his name to Sherlock Watson.
LIyre that would be so cute!!!!
I stopped the video just to feel the energy of this comment while I click on the like button.
LIyre HECK TO THE YES
LIyre 🙂💗Tell me more
facts
John is bisexual and Sherlock is Demisexual and not a single person will ever be able to convince me otherwise.
ngl that makes a lot of sense
Nope
Sherlock is John sexual
And
John is sherlock sexual
@@nieveorirlniamh
Jees. Totaly agree !! xD
I agree!
I feel like Sherlock is probably demisexual and biromantic or something
John: I'm not gay
Sherlock: Sherlock's a girl's name
Oookaaaay,I see what you did here👁👁
Short answer: Yes
Long Answer: 0:00 - 19:49
Yes.
Yes yes and yes!!!
Lmao perfect
Y e s.
So also yes
"This is only the fir-THE FIRST EPISODE"
why the hell are THEIR ONLY THREE EPISODES EVERY FIFTY YEARS
also in sherlocks mind molly said this to John
“Oh, isn’t he observant now that Daddy is gone”
daddy being Sherlock
Oh dear this ain’t even close to being straight
Wait, when?
Don't forget in his mind 'moriarty' said something about how they should already elope so like, Sherlock definitely ships themself together.
Margaret Ashton the abominable bride
Not just gay it's *_gay_*
oh my gosh Sherlock have a daddy kink
Here's my theory for the airplane scene:
Now, sherlock did have that build-up and it did seem like he was about to confess his love and that's because he w a s but he had second thoughts and didn't.
Lol yeah I think sherlock gay panicked in the aeroplane scene
@@starstruck9510 he gay panicked a lot lmao
He chickened out
They’re gayer than Dean and Cas. And that’s saying something.
It is
Yes
IT REALLY IS OML 😂😂😂😂
They are gayer than Deadpool and Spiderman who are a close runner up to Dean and Cas
They’re are gayer then Alec lightwood and Magnus bane
remember when sherlock RESTARTED HIS OWN HEART after his brain supplied the thought that "John Watson is definitely in danger." bc i still stay up @ night thinking abt it
Oh my god, I love that part. Replayed it a few times.
@@MACARIA66 YES SAME, THE WAY HIS EYES JUST _FLEW_ OPEN
@x y I’m pretty sure it was in season 3.
@x y Season 3! The last episode, I think? It's after John gets married, and at the time Mary shoots sherlock
I THINK ABOUT THAT CONSTANTLY
John licking his lips after Sherlock said he didn't have a boyfriend. xD! I almost spit out the water I had just sipped. I also almost fell out of my chair. I wasn't ready. xD!
Sherlock did NOT say boyfriends weren't his area!!! DDD:::
I think John and Sherlock are definitely gay, but that we'll never see any real confirmation onscreen.
_WAS THAT LICK LIP REALLY NECESSARY JOHN_
@@bibzamwe8549 The answer is yes.
what about the scene where Irene outs him, and says he's in love with Sherlock. And Sherlock hears it and RUNS AWAYYYY
When the waiter thought that John was Sherlock’s date I literally spit out my water and then I said sorry because my dad was in the same room as me. And it kinda freaked him out
☹️
Even Mike ships them. He wrote a letter to John for his wedding saying how dare he marry a woman after going through so much trouble to find him a man.
Ok, so if they’re living in a flat with baby Rosie, and there are presumably only two bedrooms in this flat, and one of them is Rosie’s, then doesn’t that mean Sherlock and John would have to share a room? 👀👀
Madeline H. oooooOoOooo
Rosie: WAKE UP SLEEPYHEADS!!
**sherlock and John wake up in the same bed**
Rosie: OOHOOOHOO!!
I always thought Sherlock Holmes and Watson were a crime solving detective couple.
Agatha Henney Yes Doctor Who
Jajaja Exactly!😂👿👬
that “sherlock is actually a girl’s name” is the worst kind of pain ever because i could practically see the “i love you” in his eyes
FACTS
If you think there's a lot of eye sex here, you should see the way Holmes looks at Watson in the Granada adaptation. Hoo boy! Sherlock Holmes has never been straight.
Watson mentioned in the story "The greek interpreter: "His aversion against the female gender and against new friendships were significant for his somewhat uncomfortable character."
Of course I agree with you.
