Leatt is a South African company, the 5.5s are manufactured in China.

Really ?! I had to look in to it: "The revolutionary Leatt-Brace® was developed in Cape Town, South Africa and tested by BMW engineers at their facility in Munich, Germany, with first production units sold in late 2006." They won over 50 different award world wide, Not bad!

@@roberturmosi-dirtbike-atv I live 4hrs drive from their HQ in Cape Town. I dunno where every single product is manufactured but the 5.5s are definitely China. That said Leatt sets the quality standards the product has to pass, same way many western brands do with manufacturing in China.
