I agree but I think there's simply too many people to do it right. It worked in the 18th century when we were a nation of millions. Now we're a nation of hundreds of millions. We'd need an extreme infrastructure overhaul to handle every single vote.

I like the idea of mail in votes but for every single person to vote we'd need to massively boost our postal service and hire many more people. That, and make voting day a holiday. I lost my best friend and the father of my children to a cult. Years ago I was married to a man who was kind, compassionate and rational. I didn't pay attention to what he was watching on the Internet. He said a few things that made me look at him funny. I remember the day he started telling me about a guy named Alex Jones. He told me he has proof that the shooting at Sandy Hook elementary was a false flag. It stopped me in my tracks. I knew about it and watched the coverage. I immediately said it was definitely not faked. That's the day I realized he was changing. From that day everything went downhill. I was helpless to bring him back to reality. Eventually my entire family went MAGA! EXCEPT FOR ME! My ex would scream at me for talking to our friends wives! Eventually I was no longer welcomed to participate in gatherings because I caused problems with my mouth. My male family members, friends and coworkers became furious with my opinions about MAGA! I am currently kicked out of my own family. I am told that I suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. I am helpless to reach my own children. My daughters are married to MAGA males who refuse to allow me to see my grandchildren because I am clearly deranged. I have cried a billion tears and I expect a billion more.
I cannot fathom how anyone would believe the lies and think that guy was anything but a vile grotesque criminal who belongs in prison. My fantasy also includes the truth and nothing but the truth about the guy is finally absorbed by my family members.

I'm really sorry to hear this. There are many who have lost family members to this madness, but you have lost all your family. That must be so hard. Get friends on the side of reality to make sure you keep sane, they won't replace your family but you need something.
Watch Beau of the Fifth Column, Trae Crowder and Tennessee Brandon. Look for topics your family can relate to and send them the videos, not too many, just the odd one. The aim is to get them to question one little thing, just start them questioning, then get them questioning more. The BS will unravel eventually but they key is to get that first little thing like a jumper breaking one stitch somewhere and then gradually falling apart.
It looks like many people can't see reality or ignore it, blue or red does it matter? look at the politicians the majority are old men who have been in their jobs for years going through many elections they always stay in their seats, why is it that people vote and the result is always the same?

If a juror gets confused enough about this case to cause the jury to hang, then I will question weather that juror could complete one of those connect-the-dot games in a children's puzzle book.
I think there are two lawyers on the jury, hopefully they will be able to explain to anyone who is confused. But yes, you do wonder if jury service should come with some form of basic logical thinking test.

This is far from a complicated theory. It's very simple if you know how to read English and comprehend what you read and apply the law. Cases don't get much easier with the mountain of evidence the State has.

I would like an investigation into what he spent eight trillion dollars on putting us in debt.
Part of that was because he signed into law the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), a *$1.9 TRILLION* dollar tax bill favoring corporations and wealthy Americans, which caused income tax revenue for the US to go down significantly. It's kind of like someone cutting your wages but your bills remain and you have less per month to pay them. I am sure there were other reasons too.
The judge should be asking the key questions! This should be an open shut case and the delay only works for Trump!

While there may be an appearance of complexity in manner the prosecutors are are presenting their case, I believe the closing argument will connect the dots and leave a clear picture to the jurors to avert a mistrial.

To disagree slightly. I don't think that Trump misunderstood the word tesitfy. He knows exactly what the difference is between making a statement, under oath, in the witness box and rabbiting on to the media. What he is doing is trying to prime his base with an excuse when he refuses to go into the witness box - "the judge wouldn't let me".
The lawyer at the end doesn't seem to understand that Trump can't admit to any of it. Doesnt matter if that would be his best defense. So while a lawyer could win this case for Trump, they actually can't win because of Trump. Make sense?
