When I went to Disneyland in July 2017, the workers stopped me and my friend on the way in and gave us a 'buddy pass' to go to the front of the line together :)
Tammara H let me know next time you go I used to work at mermaid and I still have buddies there. mention my name and they'll give you front of the line passes for any ride you want and vouchers for free food or drink

I really enjoy this ride whenever I go on it. The Roz Animatronic at the end is really cool.
I rode this one years ago and i actually enjoyed it! I can't wait to ride it again this summer!
If i was to make the ride, I would have made it like in the scene Sully and Mike are hanging from doors. A ride where you are hanging on a door/swing attached to a door and make it like the movie part.

I am...surprised? Shocked? at how the animatronics are just, repeated movements and no moving mouths? For such a favorite film, this feels like just a Tram Tour.

I have never been to Disneyland (I really want to go), only Disney World, I never knew this existed. I seem fun for little kids, but its just telling the story of the movie. I think Imagineers could have done a better job. But its very cool, i want to ride!!
it's a repaint/revamp of a disney mistake lol. They had a ride called superstar limo that really sucked in the early 2000s and they replaced it with this. All of the stuff inside is recycled from the old ride so it kinda sucks

I miss this so much and being at Disneyland cause of covid. My plan is that once all that calms down and gets under control, I'm planning to go to Disneyland again where the magic begins to celebrate my senior year trip that I never got last year.

In Orland they do the funny floor where they point out ppl in the audience and ask them questions it's funny lol
I remember specifically I was like 9 when I went on this ride and at the end with the lady that makes fun of you ( idk her name in the monsters inc movie) said one of her lines and I called her a “butthole” and then I got yelled at for saying butthole.

Yeah, I was on that ride, I enjoyed it as a little kid.
😂😂😂😂 I went on this ride in 2018 with my mom and the Roz at the end said to me "hey you girl in the second row I love your glasses. You wanna trade?" I said "No." And she said "Well forget you then." Or something like that. But it was so funny me my mom, and the family in the first row started laughing.
I honestly can't believe that I still remember this and it's almost been three years 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣

I remember my first trip to Disney this ride had a 3 hour long line,(that was around 10 to 14 years ago) I finally got to ride it on my second trip since the line was way shorter and I was so excited. Lol

The overall feel and look of this ride strikes me as more a Universal Studios dark ride than a Disney one.
Every time we tried going on the ride, it broke down before we got in the car. Hopefully we can make it in one day!

Those are recicled animatronics, it was another ride called Limo Superstar and the animatronics were celebrities
When we were at Disneyland we waited for hours for this ride and when we were next they said that the cars were broken so we could either wait or leave and have to go to the bathroom so we left but now I know what it was like Thanks

In 2019, my little sister and I went on the ride for the first time. A little boy in front of us booed at Randell. I did the same only for me to accidentally knock my Minnie ears off my head 😅
My favorite part is we got units spread out and lock it down and I say ah my eyes!😂

When we went, there was a couple and a baby in the backseat. She made a comment on the kid and something about how you’re not allowed to bring home monsters from the ride. We figured it was one of the unloading cast members who could see the incoming cars and choosing voice options on a panel or something.
I think someone is actively controlling it, last time I rode this I was little she commented my curly blonde hair, and I said thanks and she said “Your welcome sweetie” and it made my day 😂

I'm concerned that Disney doesn't put the same level of work into all their animatronics (the gold standard being the Na'vi from Pandora.) They certainly have the money to do so.

It's surprising that so many of the figures' faces are immobile. You hear the dialog, but it doesn't look like they're speaking at all. It's unusual for Disney to take such shortcuts... Is it possible the attraction wasn't operating properly that day?
No most of the animatronics are repurposed from superstar limo which previously took up the spot but was replaced soon after the park opened because it was terriblem

At the end they should do this thing like “wait...you’re not a monster” then theres a drop that basically sends you out of the monster world and back to the human reality

The biohazard suit monsters are the original superstar animatronics, just covered by the hazmat suits.

it's time for these rides to evolve. we have holographic technology, robotics, laser sharp projections, photo-realistic artists, autonomous drive vehicles, Ride Evolution Must Happen, or else 'theme parks' will die except for the roller coasters.
I went on that ride and my brother was on my moms lap so we got called a monster in front of everyone on the big screen there 😂
MY FAVORITE RIDE SCENES ARE THE ONES WITH CELIA IN IT, ALSO CELIA LOOKED PRETTY ANGRY WHEN THE RIDE WENT INTO THE RESTAURANT WITH EVERYTHING LOOKING DESTROYED, I FELT SORRY FOR CELIA
