Respect to both of these guys. Both spent their lives helping people, quiet down keyboard warriors. Great podcast and big thank you to both especially the former cop for his hard work.
After 34 years in the job, Jubelin quit the police force last year, tendering his resignation before he was charged with illegally recording four conversations with Savage during the Tyrrell investigation. And we still don't know were little William Tyrrell is or who took him. I don't blame him for trying everything to find that little boy and catch his killer.
There was more to it. I know some of the other detectives on this case. The ones who have a different story to tell about Gary Jubelin - but they won’t make it all public because it helps no one. Gary is the hero done wrong - yeah OK. But there is more to it.
No clash of authorities were in play there as Ant didn't have any authority in the situation. He was mouthing off to the cop about why the other group was still there. The question was, why was he and his mates still there? Ant deserved everything and more than he got and the incident shed light on the many claims that are around that suggest he has an issue with his ego.
@@dejavoue88what we gonna do without police? You think because a small amount of them are degenerates or even some racist you think you're being mature by saying that.
People in the comments are saying "he assaulted a female officer as well". Reminds me of that Joker quote; "if a truck load of soldiers blows up, nobody cares. But If I say one woman will die, everyone loses their minds." No offence, Ant should've walked away, but also the female officer chose to be a cop.
shame on former UKSF. This situaton should never have happened in the first place. Tries to justify his actions. He let the UKSF community down big time. Sad. Not the first and will not be the last.
Wonder how many other SF boys from other countries have messed up once in a while....sure Ant ain't the only one...he only let himself down NOT the UKSF FFS!
As an ex-bootneck myself I understand Ants situation because I’ve had those conflicts with police. He got the unprofessional Uber ego scumbag cop that the police are full of now.
And ? If you're a woman police officer on the front line dealing with this issue most weeks. You're going to get a slap. Man or woman. That's just the way it is. He's done the time and apologised FFS. His military service far outweighs what he did I'm sorry.
Yes. There is a little bit more to it than just a good cop being run out of the force for telling the truth. Kudos to you - most people don’t see this.
A clash of authority indicates you think you had some type of authority in that situation, thats where you went wrong....BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T!! Where you were 6 months ago is irrelevant, you are now simply a civilian so the policeman had authority over you so you might aswel ditch that clash of authority buisness out the window my friend!😂
He's saying he's used to having authority not that he had authority in this situation. He recognises he was wrong and said it's difficult to turn the switch off, which I expect it is. I've got a few friends in the forces and they all struggle in normal life to a point.
@@markburton8303 thats not what he said, that's your words. "His" words were it was a clash of authority, referring to that particular situation, but in that situation he had zero authority. @@londongunner1 obviously you cant take control. I've just listened to it and that's what they said - it's hard to let go of authority. @@markburton8303 its not an understanding problem, its a misuse of words. The word authority means....... the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience. Dumbest stuff ever. As a soldier you are used to following orders and complying with folks like all the time.
