I started watching Stavros969's video about the ID.4. Maybe it was the camera angle, but the Audi's boot looks a little small compared to the one in the ID.4. Is that correct?
Thanks for the comment EV TV Ireland. Oh the ID.4's boot is way bigger at 543 litres. The Audi is 405 litres. You also have a smaller opening to get stuff in and out of the Audi
@@NevoEVReviewIreland Thanks for confirming. I presume the regular e-tron is the same. Is this a missed opportunity from Audi, or do you think the boot is large enough for such a large family car?
I probably wouldn't call it a family car. The Q4 or the upcoming salon being revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show will potentially suit family buyer more but time will tell.
Great video and what a car! I think it is worth mentioning than there is an network of 350 kW chargers in Ireland operated by Ionity which can deliver the 270 kW and 22 minute charge times this superb electric vehicle is capable of ⚡️ Audi like Porsche, two of the leading EV manufacturera are co-owners/founders of Ionity through their parent company Volkswagen so not surprising they are leading the way on charging speeds and power levels!
Why oh why can't I get it into my head about the charging speeds at IONITY stations?!?I've added clarification notes to the video description. Thanks for the comment James
I can't believe 37 Taycans have been sold already this year, luckily I was sitting down when you said that. The Audi is a superb looking car with loads of tech, but would you buy it ahead of a Porsche? For me it's no contest, it's the Taycan. Badge snobbery, maybe 😁
That thing is a beast! For my money, possibly even more appealing than the Taycan... not that either of them will be getting my money unless the kids turn out to both get full-ride college scholarships!
Another good review and a very nice looking car. For the charging I am pretty sure you can get higher than 150kW. Have seen a few M3s pulling over 180. Will be interesting to see charging times and speeds as well as efficiency when you get a bit more time with it.
Thanks for the comment and yes, IONITY stations can deliver more I'm told. Tesla will have there own network but not sure if that's what you meant? Looking forward to more time with it.
@@NevoEVReviewIreland yes that you can get more than 150kW at ionity. Currently Tesla superchargers are 3rd fastest @130kW ESB @150kW and ionity (higher but not sure on max)
Hope you don't mind me throwing in 2 cents more. Derek brought to mind what I think sums up the difference for me between the Audi GT vs the Tesla Model S as I have studied both of them in great detail. The Tesla is like driving a computer whereas the Audi is like driving an electrified automobile. Will Elon's vision be realized ... most likely. In the meantime, I will choose the Audi for pure all round driving pleasure, interior luxury and tactile switchgear.
Thanks for the comment and question. I only had it for and hour and the model S a few months back but from men, I think the rear leg room in the model S was greater.
Thanks Fergal. If I can remember correctly, brake pressed fully down and then fully press down the accelerator at the same time until it says engaged. Release the brake pedal

You are getting better and better, lovely review, great car, well out of my price rang. Thank you.
Thanks for your kind words Jodie. Really enjoying it. Far from perfect but getting there.
Beautiful car! I love the launch control part :D
Yes, seems to be a favourite of lots of people to see me being an idiot ha ha
Great review but the UI seems a bit clunky/dated.
Thanks for the comment EV TV Ireland. Compared to some other OEMs yes, it would look dated

Great review and great car.
Just a a quick one, what do the padals at the back of the steering wheel do?
Great question. They increase or decrease the regenerative braking levels

Pyure daycent caar. 🙌🏻
Speaking as a Corkman 😁
Love it Patrick, thankfully my dire Corkonian accent doesn't seem to have attracted the wrath from the real capital.

Ha, it's mad isn't it. There's a market for sure. I'll have to drive the Taycan and then make my mind up.
Пушка💪🚀🤟🔝
You're correct, it's like a cannon!
Something else and so is the price , Tesla is still king value for money wise .
Thanks for the comment Robert. Yes, Tesla is going to be hard to beat and great to see choice/competition in the market
@@NevoEVReviewIreland couldn’t agree more just the prices lol
That's a beautiful car and your reviews are getting smoother and smoother, well done. I can see it being a real fan favourite with Audi enthusiasts.
Thanks for the comment and feedback Jeremy. Really enjoying it and loads of room for improvement (my reviews, the car was great! Ha ha)
That thing is a beast! For my money, possibly even more appealing than the Taycan... not that either of them will be getting my money unless the kids turn out to both get full-ride college scholarships!
Thanks for the comment Plug and Play EV. I'm leaning towards this one alright but need to drive the Taycan. Never say never about the kids 😉
@@NevoEVReviewIreland If they take after their Mum, we'll be all set for a Porsche EV in the drive!
Wow...what a car! It's great to see such strong competition in the EV space!
With competition the consumer benefits. Thanks for the comment Blake.
It's getting busier and busier thankfully
Great review.
'Yeah, it has launch control alright!'
😂
Totally caught off guard.
0-60 is actually 4.1 secs not 4.5 on boost mode
You are correct Adam. Thanks for the comment. I'll add it in the description.
Thanks again Adam
I forgot To ask, weather the AC is using a heat pump or not?
Great question, yes it is using a heatpump
This car definitely caught my eye and made my head trun. The launch control! 😂
It's beautiful isn't it. Yes, the launch control totally caught me off guard...

350kW I believe. For some reason I can never get it right when talking about them.
Thanks for the review, Derek! My five cents regarding the car: beautiful German sports car that also happens to be electric.
Thanks for the comment Evgeny, I think your 5 cents sums it up nicely

Nice review and what a beautiful car! Hows the back seat space compared to the Tesla Model S?
Thanks for the comment and question. I only had it for and hour and the model S a few months back but from men, I think the rear leg room in the model S was greater.
@@NevoEVReviewIreland Thank you for responding! Hmm looks and performance vs more leg room for the kids?? 😂
Oh the GT is a second car. You'll need something for the kids 😂😂
👍👍👍
Thanks for the 👍🏻👍🏻 Johny
How do you engage launch mode?
Thanks Fergal. If I can remember correctly, brake pressed fully down and then fully press down the accelerator at the same time until it says engaged. Release the brake pedal
@@NevoEVReviewIreland thanks I'll give it a go 👍.
Loved the review BTW!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for comments
