Great information Aubrey! Thank you for the detail and it helps become more confident in starting this adventure!
Great info Aubrey. Thank you
Great information. Thanks
The information about 24 check in time limit was super helpful thanks.
Great advice!
Excellent and thank you !
It was Tuesday.
DENIED. 😆
Denied!
Scammers.
Thanks for the video. What’s the best kind of car to buy for a first timer
Aubrey, Turo's TOS say to take 10-15 photos of the car. If you take less than 100 photos each trip, then you will get screwed by Turo if you have an small accident or tire damage. Also, you say not to claim small scratches. Well isn't that what the Premium 60% policy is for? At least that's what they claim. TOS says "Any scratch is covered and zero deductible." Solution... don't buy the Premium policy and unless the car is totaled, don't make a claim. Above all, pray for Turo to have a real competitor.
More competition is coming soon in this industry. I still have yet to see any individual claim this is "great" as a home-business though. No thanks....
Once again even more wonderful information Aubrey. You are the only Turo UA-camr I have ever heard mention how important it is to drive your vehicle when it's returned, very smart. About the people not taking pictures. As far as Turo is concerned your car is invisible if you don't take pictures. If they can't see the issue in a picture it didn't happen. On top of that your feedback is your Turo "credit score". How do you know what you are handing off to the next client. Once your Turo rating is destroyed no one is going to touch your rentals. You are giving incredible information on your channel for everyone. I look forward to watching all your videos. Thank you
Thank you so much!
Turo claims are angels 😇
Great content. Would you mind sharing a link to your Turo profile? Would be informative to see your actual listings.
I actually have a video planned for the next week or so where I will be sharing my listing and going through how I have everything set up! So stay tuned for that!
@Landen Jesiah I'm confused 😕. Why would I want to hack someone's Instagram??
How do I provide parking space to turo providers in my area? How do notify them about the available parking spaces
There are many websites for this very thing. Just sign up and list your available space and the price. www.neighbor.com is one. There are others though.
When you’re first starting out did you use any special insurance(commercial insurance)? LLC?
Thank you so much for all you guidance so helpful! My question is anyone can says those photos don’t match with this costumer ?! The costumer can says i didn’t do that !
Especially about small damages
Turo scammed me saying I " smoked in the car " because before giving the car back I lost a strip of filters in the car, under the seat.
This is a legal scam... I will never use this again
Dang. Is there one video explaining what protection plan is best for the renter? Or does everyone feel the need to make one for hosts? Lol. 1,748 videos about insurance for Turo hosts. I think we have the subject covered.
Are you bothered by the fact that TURO does not run MVR's of guests who rent from you?
The list is long of questionable things in this industry. I have yet to find anyone who says this "business" is "great" or the "best thing ever". All I see are very questionable problems, issues, fails, losses, costs, etc. Tons of work that basically handcuffs you to your "business." This sort of thing is basically for people who have no life and never want to have a life. Heck no ,I will never do this awful "business."
What personal insurance do you choose? Basic liability or more?
None
How exactly do you have guests send you the pictures you talk about? Can they do it through Turo, or do you have them do it via a private email? Thanks for all the great content!
Funny the add before your video is a rental car company. lol
Hi, Aubrey, one of my guest didn't return my car more than 24 hours, do you know what Turo going to do? any suggestion for me ?
You have a good personality hun 🥰
Gay!
Hahahaha
Hi Aubrey, does Chase credit card rental coverage works with Turo platform?
To be honest, I am not sure. You would have to contact Chase
since you dont do deliveries for your cars, are guests okay with finding a way to your lot to get to your cars? I live in vegas and airport deliveries are tough but with the amount of tourists they want airport delivery, and I want to get away from it but also dont want to limit myself from getting picked to rent. any advice
Yes! They don't really have a choice to be honest as I will cancel a trip (or have a guest cancel) before doing a delivery. Every once in a while someone cancels because I don't deliver but maybe 1/50 trips. If your cars are competitively priced, they will come to you
you remind me of Graham Stephen (in a good way)
I disagree with you in part that Turo could not be successful without a host. And host could not be successful without Turo. Turo is making more money than the host. They make 30% plus the protection plan they are charging from the host and guest and trip fee. Turo is taking 30% from the trip price, your daily rental rate and not from the entire amount that guest paid. Another thing, you would never know how long Turo would keep increasing their fees. You can argue that everytime Turo increases their fee you would increase your rental fee but then less people would rent your car and there are a lot of competitors. I would suggest that host should limit their cars for rent until the rental fee is regulated.
Cost you chest the chem in by just uploading old photos of your car ?
So for how long do you have to keep photos for? Because I wouldn’t want to accumulate thousands of photos on my phone? Would it be ok to delete old photos after a good while passes?
Lol, I literally have thousands. I currently have 60k photos in my phone and at least 50k of those are Turo. You can probably delete after a couple weeks at most, I just always forget to do it
@@AubreyJanik I think the trip pictures you uploaded to TURO APP will still be there. I also need to delete mine in my iPhone photo album. Why wouldn’t it be ok to delete from phone ?
@@akhiker01 It is 100% out of me being overparanoid and I would be willing to guess it is not necessary to keep them for long. but, I have had times in the past where maybe a photo failed to upload into the app because of a bad connections and I didn't realize it and then when I go to request reimbursement or there is an issue, the photo proof I thought was there wasn't there. In these cases Turo will oftentimes still accept the original photo (that wasn't uploaded to Turo) as long as it shows the time/date that it was taken was before the trip started. This is why i keep them, why I never delete them is purely procrastination lol
This is one of the benefits of having the Turo basic insurance plan for hosts. 95% of the time, you don't have to deal with Turo and all of their insurance stipulations. With the basic insurance plan you get to deal directly with the guest or 3rd party who caused the accident, which is more like a personal auto insurance claim.
Agreed! If you go through the guests insurance and have a process for that it can make the entire process much easier
@@AubreyJanik I like this idea but still trying to find what fleet or insurance will cover share fleet cars??
Sorry I meant can’t you cheat
Audio is horrible.
Good advice though.
Hi Aubrey...I'm here
His is Turo gonna know a certain photo was taken at a specific time and date? 😂 My Iphone photos are good enough and there’s no dates or time in it as long you say when they were taken 🤷🏻♂️

@@AubreyJanik So phone or separate camera better to take photos? Do the photos get taken from the Turo app or do you download them?
