Get over the infotainment. It works fine. Lots of presets and control from the steering wheel. Getting the manual is more important than waiting for infotainment changes in Mark 8.5
sigh... $50K vehicle with a manual stick to keep the hood open. my 2010 Wolfsburg edition jetta has a hydraulic stick. any chance the 2025 models see a update? this is literally a deal breaker for me. @@vwguru
I did moved from the 7.5 to a manual 8 and I don’t regret it at all. Mechanicals are better in general. Yeah the infotainment is a long shot but not bad once you learn it and adapt. The thing I hate are all those mandatory European nannies (driver assistance stupidity) that cannot be permanently turned off. That’s it. I’m sure eventually we will find a way to turn them off. Bottom line is just software. I don’t need nor want driver assistance. Let me drive my car peacefully!. If I want it to turn or brake by itself. Then I take Uber! If I’m behind the steering wheel. Let me drive like a responsible adult. I definitely do not need nanny’s
If you buy a vehicle now in 2024 in X or Y msrp, it is simply impossible to buy a 2030 yr vehicle at the same price. Just like if you buy Nikes or a fast food meal five yrs from now, at the same price. Just like the average gross income will be higher five yrs from now. Why five yrs? Because that is the difference between the MK7.5 and a MK8. In 2019 McDonalds large french fries was $2.49, the same large french fries now is $5.04 (national average). In 2019 the average gallon of gas was $2.60, now in 2024 is $3.38, a 22% increase. The best example to explain this is Dollar Tree which reflects a 25% increase, everything costs $1.25.

Así q 47k en 2024, sería una diferencia de 18 a 20 por ciento. De esa misma forma, es imposible si compras un auto ahora valga igual en el 2030, pq el valor deprecia y el ingreso aumenta.

Probably not. You can add a hydraulic hood lift for fairly cheap.
does the Golf R require premium fuel?
It's all that I put in my Golf R. It is not required, but it is recommended.
When the usa puts in auto hold in to all vw cars i will buy one so disappointing is don’t have it ! the only vw that has it is the arteon why?
