F.A.Q Section - Ask your questions here :)
Q: Do you take aircraft requests?
A: I have a list of aircraft I plan to cover, but feel free to add to it with suggestions:)
Q: How do you decide what aircraft gets covered next?
A: Supporters over on Patreon now get to vote on upcoming topics such as overviews, special videos, and deep dives.
Q: Why do you use imperial measurements for some videos, and metric for others?
A: I do this based on country of manufacture. Imperial measurements for Britain and the U.S, metric for the rest of the world, but I include text in my videos that convert it for both.

Hi Rex, I have a little known aircraft for you:
      The Goodyear GA-22A "Drake"
From what I know, it is the only GA-22A variant out of the 19 variants built.
It is currently on display at the MAPs Air Museum in Canton, Ohio.

I know that it's been done to death, but will you ever be doing the Spitfire? I've watched dozens of videos on it, but none are as in-depth as you are... plus, nobody really elaborates on the people who designed the later variants of it, and the different wing types.

I had never heard of this manufacturer before, until I saw them in a gotcha game. Gordou-Leseurre. They were apparently heavily invested in the parasol wing. The exception is their flying boats which are low wing monoplanes. The G.L. 2 and the G.L 821 look like base models that everything else iterated off.

Beverly blackburn . Its the last airframe to exist and is being saved and moved from its current spot at fort paul to Carlisle air museum also known as Solway aviation museum. It will be a huge task moving such a large aircraft half way up the UK ❤

Combining all these videos into a single 4+ hour presentation is absolutely superb..... I suffer from insomnia that can last more than 4 or 5 days without any measurable sleep. Long videos that don't require figuring out UA-cams useless playlist systems literally means the difference between insane homicidal rampages and getting through another 2am-5am period while maintaining a sound mind.... I am very much in your debt....

Probably a dumb question, but have you tried melatonin ? Insomnia, the causes can be complex. Brain chemistry, after all. Another question. How much sunlight exposure does your head receive? Human beings were designed to work outdoors. Indoor life is more comfortable, but can have unexpected ramifications. I could not sleep for days due to terrible pain, years ago. It was awful. Different from your circumstances, but I still remember. Good fortune go with you.@garycallahan8980

You should make a new series called "stories for another day" where you just talk about all the planes you mention as being stories for another day- now I have all this background context for all these planes, the continuations are very satisfying to watch- like the p-36 to the p-40 video!

1:38:30 a proximity fuse in a 37 mm shell - yeah right in a time of valves, paper capacitors carbon rods resistors, and wafer diodes, all mounted on SRB bakelight tab boards - in your dreams. even today with modern micro electronic getting that in a 37 mm case and a adequate explosive payload would be a stretch.

Compared to its late 1930s competitors, the Farman 222 looks so old-fashioned, with its braced wings and engines suspended far below the wings. Like something out of Tintin comic book.
The contemporary B-17, He 111, Mitsubishi G3M / G4M, etc., seem vastly more aerodynamic and modern. Seems crazy for France to be ordering Farman 222 updates after seeing those aircraft.

I am surprised that this channel has not covered the Omasaki Q7N "Golden Sunflower" (known in the west as the "JimBob"). Powered by 14 Predator 420 engines and armed with 8 radiator-mounted 69mm machine guns, it was a competitive fighter and blimp destroyer. The total cost of the plane was &400k Japanese Zamperini (about $7 USD) and some sources claim it could have been manufactured in the billions. If the cocaine use of the plant manger had not doomed the plane to fail the Japanese Coast Guards initial inspection (the Rising Suns were all mounted upside down), the JimBob might have changed the outcome of the war. - Insomnia is a thing.
