I saw the course till 2:48:00, So i faced the video struck issues couple of time's like at 1:21:00 & 2:09:00 & 2:48:00. So I'm not feeling good to move on watching video by missing content. If possible cold you please check this.

I know a couple people who kickstarted their careers with it so it most probably still is. While it's not as well known as the comptia certificates at the end of the day it still proves a level of competency and will probably help reassure potential employers.

This is Red Hat 6, and is not worth taking the time to learn it. Red Hat seven moved from /etc/initial.d for daemon and program starting to systemctl, this is completely foreign looking if you learn Red Hat 6. While you might learn some things about the Red Hat OS most of them are already obsolete. I took the RHCSA test for Red Hat 6 and only about 40% of the knowledge is usable in Red Hat 8. Other changes are Red Hat 6 uses extended volumes and ext4, which are both no longer used. This was an actual trap in the RHCSA 6 test, sda1 (/boot) and sda2 (/) were already used, during the test you had to create three additional volumes/partitions but they were not made know as they where spaced out in the test. As a note RHCSA tests are timed practical tests, question one was break into the OS, question 2 was make a partition/volume, question 8 was make another volume, question 16 was make a swap partition, but Red Hat 6 had a limit to the number of partitions on a disk and if you wanted more than 4, the 4th partition had to be an extend partition, that could than have other partitions/volumes created on it. This is no longer the case with Red Hat 7 or 8. So a cautionary note is if you are performing a practical test, even if it is timed, take the time to read all questions that require you to perform an actual task. I did this and caught the trap, one of my co-workers did not and failed the test because to make the swap partition he had to undo several other questions/answers and attempt to redo all of them with limited time. Red Hat 6 uses the ext4 file system but in Red Hat 7 it is xfs and in Red Hat 8 it defaults to xfs. To partition a disk in 6 you used fdisk, but in 7 and 8 it is gdisk and there are differences. Also in 8 you have to have a sda1 and sda2 are both used if you want a secure UEFI boot (which has better performance - which is not an option in 6). In Red Hat 7 and 8 you are not limited to only 4 physical partitions on a disk any more. Also Red Hat 6 uses fdisk to partition disks but is not even installed in Red Hat 8. you have to go out of your way to install fdisk if you want it but is is no longer used, gdisk is and is looks different. Lastly the Red Hat 6 OS is end of life. Red Hat 7 is only getting security patching now, no new features. I learned this when I purchased a Dell PC as a Red Hat 7 workstation. The issue came up that Red Hat 7 (7.9 kernel) only supported the Intel 9 NIC but the new Dell PC had an Intel 11 NIC. While the Red Hat 7.9 installed the NIC did not work because the ex1000 device driver did not support hardware above Intel 9. When I contacted Red Hat, I was informed that Red Hat 7 is no longer getting new functionality, only security patching. What viewers need to realize that if this video has not been taken down by Red Hat, the knowledge is of limited value or the site is outside of US jurisdiction, but if that was the case Red Hat 8 classes would be on the site. I thank you for the effort but I caution anyone spending 8 hours plus lab time on an obsolete OS. If you really do want to learn Red Hat I recommend the RHCSA & RHCE Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 9updated) book by Asghar Ghori. I have his Red Hat 6, 7, and 8 books on my shelf and have used them to study on my own for the RHCSA tests.
Also i didint think that this course is suitable for RHCSA EX200V8K and 9K because this topics such GRUB password modification and quots isnt present in exame

This course is not working properly. Every chapter is bugged somehow. The video stops and that's it. I'll fast forward to the next chapter, a few minutes are ok, then the same thing happens...
I just clicked somewhere in the middle of the video and watched "runlevels" explained. You do know that runlevels aren't used anymore since RHEL 6.x (which has been EOL for quite some time)? They've been replaced by systemd boot targets. Is there any more outdated or otherwise obsolete information in this video?

EDIT: Still trying to study by following this tutorial (I am quitting on this channel just because it's teasing me and I found better free contenet), if you do not want to wast time just avoid this course,arguments are talked very superficially and lectures stop (pause) for the majority of the time, if we would compress this tutorial to show only the lectures where he actually talk, the tutorial would be less than 4 hours. If this is a free marketing strategy to sell more courses, well, if a pubblic course like that is not good, think to their privare courses and the customer service.

@@howtonetworkcom he makes a very legitimate point, Paul, portions of the video freeze (while not buffering) for several minutes. This happened repeatedly and I'm only 1 hour in. The most significant freeze for so far has been 1:03:26 to 1:14:39. That's well over 11 minutes.
Almost all lessons have no end...it makes your work not clear. Please reload your video that it will be full. But now I must give you dislike. But I change it then you repair your video.

Root password reset procedure is over complicated in you lessons, and i didnt see any reason to do that things at such difficult way.

This video course is for RHEL 6, don't use it to prepare for RHEL 8. I recommend you the Asghar Ghori book (The updated one).
