Oh how this man could capture an audience, I remember tears rolling down my sisters face when Liam sang Waltzing Matilda on the Late Late show many years ago.
    A Legend RIP.

Sinéad is a lovely woman, very goodlooking and friendly, but I've noticed her making a lot of very silly comments when interviewing musicians. She said to Finbar Furey that his son was probably "cringing" as he watched him on the programme, to which Finbar replied "No, he wouldn't be". Then, in this interview, she added the point that folk music tells "the losers story", when Liam was explaining about written history being the propaganda of the winner. The point he was making is that folk music tells "the truth" or the "true story", rather than the story of the winner or loser... I find some of her comments cringeworthy, but again I must say she's a nice girl. Just makes me chuckle at times! Haha! Respect from Davey in Longford, Éire.

Liam Clancy lied about Peter lafarge cutting his wrist in Liam bathtub. Lafarge died of a stroke. My father was the funeral director who handled the funeral. Never like Liam Clancy

He's an old man here, memory worsens with old age.

Wow, James I wish I could have seen that. I've heard about it and how special it was, but alas I live in the States.
