Making use of Vivecraft for Minecraft java edition, combined with an Oculus Quest 2, Mumbo is able to experience Hermitcraft in Minecraft VR! Having started Minecraft in the Gear VR, I probably have a different perspective (literally) on building in Minecraft.
Unfortunately Gear VR required exporting the HC seasons to Bedrock which messes up their lighting.
Season 7 isn't built for VR, with the shear scale of the builds.
Season 5 and 6 maps are pretty good in VR if you are confident with an Elytra to cross the larger gaps between bases.

Hi! I’m a new UA-camr and was hoping I could have a little support! I started about 2 years ago and have already grown a successful amount! I do lots of cool vids and love and notice every single subscriber, thank yous
elytra flight in VR is an incredible experience. Especially once you get the hang of the "The elytra go with the direction your hand is pointing in" thing, you start being sable to swoop around independently of where you're looking and it's incredible.
I can't wait to do this, in 2 weeks I'll have a pc capable of vivecraft and I'm honestly so excited
@@leviathanqueen3780 I've officially moved into ViveCraft; VR is the only way I play Minecraft now and I'll never look back. It's incredible. Only downside is, even with a decent PC, it's too demanding to be able to play with all the flashiest graphical mods. But standard OptiFine shaders and a nice texture pack is _more_ than pretty & immersive enough. And the 1.18 caves still make me stop and go "wow", even after playing ViveCraft for more than a few months.

The reason why everything feels massive is because each block is a meter.
Yeah, it's easy not to get what that means until you're _right there,_ and a two block pillar is as tall as you are, and slightly more broad.

1x1x1 meter to be nitpicky, it's 3D so there are 3 axis.
also this means a water bucket holds 1m³ of Liquid (=1000L)

Fun fact: I played so much minecraft when I was younger that I dreamt exclusively in Minecraft for a solid year. Sometimes it would be real backgrounds of places I'd been, with Minecraft skins over top, sometimes real places recreated in minecraft. The other people were also occasionally real but I was always a Minecraft person.
