3rd Person CyberPunk Shooter! + Random Lvls & Awesome Abilities! - ArcRunner Demo - #02

ArcRunner is an Indie, Action Roguelike / Roguelite Sci-Fi Dungeon Crawler aboard a ring world! A titanic space station where the bots have seized the city, and You must take it back, one district at a time! ✊
ArcRunner is a 3rd person shooter, much like Fortnite in a way, and the combat and gunplay feels good.
Much like Fortnite, different primary weapons will drop; like the viper is a rapid fire sub machine gun, while holding it down is rapid fire, or a pump action shotgun with 5 shots, or a laser rifle, yay!
There are also different cool sub weapons / gadgets to find, like shock grenades, gun turrets, and snare electric webs, a shield drone, a holographic decoy, and more!
Environmental interactivity is present too, in the form of exploding consoles, cars and barrels; fun!
Differing from the above Online big daddy, ArcRunner is super SciFi, so guns have unlimited energy ammo, as long as you continue to reload.
Additionally, ArcRunner is running with a low polly look, which will help insure it ages gracefully, as opposed to the more cutting edge look other games go for.
Plus, ArcRunner is packing Procedural Generation of its Sci-Fi Cyber Dungeon, ensuring the layout, monsters spawns, loot and experience will differ from one run to the next. Cool!
At the end of each lvl, you get an upgrade choice for the run; I got a Fusion Emitter that fires when the shield is released after absorbing a shot; cool.
Then, I got a Predator style, auto firing shoulder cannon!
Some lvls have challenge rooms too, where you must complete the objective to receive the loot; cool!
There are 3 classes planned for ArcRunner currently, with 2 present in the available demo.
The Soldier: which has a 180 degree shield and a hammer to smash foes
The Ninja: which has a Katana, and a Cloaking Field
The Hacker: which is not in the current demo, and seems to be a controller class
Meta Progression is present in the form of Nanites, which can be used at the beginning of your next run to upgrade and unlock abilities; more damage, more hp, more energy, powerful stuff like that.
Gamepad support is present, as is Online Co-Op, up to 3 players, in case you’re in the mood for some teamwork bot busting action!
Note: This is an early demo of ArcRunner, so any bugs or other oddness is not representative of the final product.
Still, ArcRunner is offering a fun, Indie Action Roguelike SciFi Dungeon Crawler, with Procedural Generation, where the bot busting and blasting is intense, and feels good!
