FILM DESCRIPTION:
Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home. Along for the ride is Jia, an orphaned girl who has a unique and powerful bond with the mighty beast. However, they soon find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla as he cuts a swath of destruction across the globe. The initial confrontation between the two titans -- instigated by unseen forces -- is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the planet.

One thing I hate about newer movies is that there are way too many cuts during a scene… we need more single shot action instead of constant cut back and forth.
GxK didn't have that much cuts
Imagine the outcome of all the Kong vs Godzilla battles had Kong not been sedated in the beginning by that collar that greatly compromised his full strength. 99% of viewers seemed to miss that huge detail.

Godzilla still spare him in this one...... In wáter........ With the soiders in Kong side....... In honk Kong, Kong have a axe with Godzilla level defense,, in Kong territory advantege, and Godzilla still won......
That would still not change alot, IT would be likely end the same way like on GvK or GxK, with Godzilla either finishing him off or "spare him"...
@cauag9575 according to the producers, Kong was 88% sedated. Meaning it most definitely did make a huge difference.
@chyumiming. Kong knocked G-man out in the 2nd film. If based on strength vs strength, sans atomic breath I say it's evenly matched. Although it's said Kong has greater upper body strength. As for the aircraft carrier scene, that was heavily in favor G-man. Let's see, in the middle of an ocean (apes can't swim), very limited real estate to move on, heavily sedated by a collar, and having to fight two opponents i.e. the water and Zilla.
Can we talk about Kong catching mechs punch then telling the arm to pay for its sin by cutting it off
The ones that deserve a raise is the Camera men for bringing us the intense close up!🤣🤣😂😂😜🤪🤗

Rewatching this. I actually kinda dig Mechagodzilla. His fighting style was so dope where he can use multiple abilities to his advantage, wish they made him more harder to kill tbh, I felt he was killed off too easily compared to like King Ghidorah for example

Never saw an aircraft carrier in real life but these monsters being the size of skyscrapers and being able to stand on a carrier shows how large it really is 😮
Carriers can reach 300 meters in length. That's enough space for 2 Kaiju to stand on. lol
@@PX02Godzilla in the Monster Verse for example, his Length is almost the size of any Great Carrier... So that still not counting his absurd Weight... Who would destroy any Carrier if he stayed or given amount time...

Love the scene of all the humans in the control deck, staring at the gigantic laser Godzilla just shot through the ship and into the sky.
It's them realising not only can Godzilla not be hurt by anything they do, so all the stuff they did before was pointless, but also that Kong has no chance at beating Godzilla unless they distract Godzilla somehow.
My favourite thing about legendary verse is humans realising not only are they insignificant and completely powerless, but also that their ideas blow up in their faces anytime they try to meddle with titans.
The terrorists plan to use titans to restore the earth, they released the monster that hates mankind and wants to plunge world into chaos, and were shocked when other titans woke up at same time because of it.
Or the oxygen destroyer, Godzilla would have eliminated Ghidorah but they wanted to kill both and thus only allowed Ghidorah to live by knocking Godzilla out.
Or the mechagodzilla, they created a vessel for ghidorah to come back to live thanks to using the brain of ghidorah to make it.
Or bringing kong on a ship in the ocean, which made it all but impossible to avoid godzilla and for kong to survive.
The CGI here look a lot better than the one in Godzilla X Kong.
