I have a friend that lives in Fort George,he has a pool on his property, I once asked him how much he paid for his home. His reply was if you have to ask the price, you can't afford to live here!
Geeeez Ross, your videos are ALWAYS FANTASTIC, ALWAYS but you outdone yourself on this one, this was brilliant visual and commentary, really enjoyed it 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Love the content i am actually planning to arrive on Thursday / Friday as meeting employers that are interested in myself. Would be great to meet for a coffee to know more about the place kind regards
Belvedere House (the big white one overlooking the town) was used as Board of Health accommodation, or at least half of it. I went to a couple of New Year parties there in the 80’s when I was a local health worker. What an amazing place to be allocated!
If you have been offered a job a Guernsey, then your new employer will be able to help with this & point your in the right direction with estate agents/letting agents etc. It also depends if your new employer has got you a housing licence.
@@AlexandraWoodGSY ❤First of all thank you for replying me,I have been offered the job and will not be given a home permit. I only know about gurney from the internet, I don't know anyone there, I am from Sri lanka🇱🇰
I remember as a child when Fort George was really Fort George, fields, thousands of wild flowers and peace. Then they built on it, you never see anyone walking about, they have contractors for landscaping, I hear there a lot of rules you have to abide by to live here, it is like a dead zone most of the time.
Bro, I got a job in Guernsey. I am thinking of coming with my family, we are very excited to see your channel, if I come, I will definitely meet you, thank you.
They might be nice properties (for those that can afford them!) but it seems to me to be a bit of a dead, lifeless place. I wouldn't like to live there.
I love driving around Fort George!
Many thanks for driving the Fort! Was missing as you said. Ive never lived there, but know it quite well.
Thanks 🙏

I believe you cannot hang washing out where it’s visible from the road, or that was certainly the case 40 years ago

It was sold to a development company in the 60s.
