(Its very rare to only open 1 Samsara but for the case it happens) Here my friend : 1 Card Samsara - Summon Samsara - Effect -> Special Spirit - Spirit set nightmare pain - Nightmare pain effect -> Pop Spirit -> Add Squirmer - Special OG Yubel -> Special Squirmer - Link into Yama - Add Sharvara - Fuse OG Yubel and Samsara from the GY into Phantom - Use Squirmer GY Effect to reborn Spirit - Use sharvara to pop the spirit -> Summon OG Yubel again - Link OG Yubel and Sharvara into Rage - > Sharvara set Chamber (Important!) - Link Rage and Yama into Apollousa Apollousa for 2, Rage into S:P, Phantom of Yubel + Nightmare pain setup with just one single Samsara :)
The above is the safest (and imo ideal line) because Yama is the 5th summon making Nib useless. However if you have something like Crossout or you don't fear Nib you can get even more from Samsara by using 1 Phantom as material. The difference between opening Throne and Samsara is only 1 body, and by following [step 4 and 5] both lines become the same (for example instead of the written combo you can do the one in the video). Here: 1) NS Samsara, tribute to summon Spirit 2) Spirit set Pain, activate Pain to pop Spirit and get Squirmer 3) Spirit special Yubel from deck 4) Squirmer special itself from hand, then pop Yubel 5) Yubel special Terror from deck As I said, here the only difference between Throne and Samsara 1 card combo is that Throne is on 4 summons (1 Samsara, 2 Spirit, 3 Yubel, 4 Terror) while Squirmer is still in hand. With good management, using 1 Phantom as material is fine. 6) Yubel + Samsara make Phantom to the furthest left or ring MMZ 7) Terror + Squirmer make Yama, add Sharvara 8) Squirmer banish itself from gy to revive Spirit from GY 9) Sharvara pop Spirit to special itself from hand, then Spirit special Yubel from the deck 10) Yubel + Sharvara make Rage in the center MMZ, Sharvara sets your unchained trap of choice 11) Yubel + Terror make Phantom 12) Yama + Phantom make Promethean 13) Promethean revive Sharvara 14) Promethean + Rage make Elf in the EMZ that makes Elf to point on Phantom. This way you can safely set Escape (I always played Escape), then have both Elf and Sharvara for Promethean to target, while Elf and Yama in GY can revive Rage and Escape is live by popping Sharvara. You can even CL1 Promethean on Sharvara CL2 Escape on Sharvara to threaten 2 cards at once (Promethean doesn't care if it pops Sharvara as long as it pops the opponent's card) and Elf can chain after that to give you Rage. On resolution Yama can revive back Sharvara and pop your Promethean undoing the FIRE lock if needed. You can get even more value if your deck plays more Unchained than just Sharvara + trap. Escape plays better into DRNM while Chamber makes Apo more easily. The main difference is against Evenly where you can revive Rage with Elf and pop it to recycle Sharvara while leaving only Phantom on the field, then Yama in the next chain can revive Rage so you don't lose SP. But as soon as Phantom negates and summons a Yubel, you have a free target for Sharvara to make Promethean live. Chamber can't do that at all. On the other hand, the huge drawback is that Sharvara + Elf play into Super Poly making a Mudragon (that invalidates Rage/SP even with set Chamber as well) so it's better to play Apollousa at this point. From my experience, Evenly and Bystials (counters to Chamber) are in lower ranks and shouldn't be a problem once you reach Master. Escape is always more rewarding but it's very tricky to play correctly. Chamber is better against Talents take not affecting Rage in GY, however Escape can pop your own monster to give the opponent nothing in return. I believe it's clearly player preference what to choose
I'm a big fan of Griffin of Nightmare (especially since the card is strangely unknown to Master Duel players). Despite that, you've opted for Apollusa. Could you justify your choice to me? I really like your explanations of why you choose certain cards in the videos. Keep up the good work!

@@TrinityYGO yeah I’m not a fan of best of 1 but I get how it makes super poly better lol. I definitely enjoy chaos angel. Gets me game a fair bit. Also trying typhon but I don’t feel like I need it most times.
Sadly the Super Poly variant is cheese. It encourages you to play with the bricks because it isn't used conventionally as "the boardbreaker" but instead as the "late game sweeper". I assume you aren't familiar with Maxx C meta, opting to run even 1 Nib is valid because you can draw into it more often compared to TCG. For my "super poly approach" I focused on taking away IP from the gameplan of Snakes so Ogre/Crow/Bystials are incredible options for the deck. The "maxx c" minigame makes it very rough to end on the typical snake board anyway. The other advantage this build has is that by giving 2 draws you still make a respectable board thanks to Phantom and Protector. Super Poly as interruption is busted. But you put all your eggs in the same basket with Imperm that's why I opted out of it (something rare as it's my favorite handtrap). Also note that here Chronicle shines one way or another, the grind it offers looping back Squirmer to proc Yama etc on the opponent's turn is incredible. --------------------------- Now for the serious list. Varudras/Irae missing hurt a lot against boardwipe, but even more hurt the random floodgates. That's why I believe Promethean/Escape is the way to go and not Apo lines. Despite Escape losing to backrow removal and Rage on monster removal, I still preferred to end on Rage (field) + Yama (gy) instead of overextending, and you'll see their value once you reach Master and play your 5th consecutive Horus Stun. Our deck is extremely weak against backrow and the opponent can just set a TCBOO without committing a monster for Rage/SP and then we fold unless we have a handtrap to normal summon for said SP. I don't like depending on SP so much, meanwhile Escape and Abom can tear through backrow like nothing. I reached M1 with double Yama and Abom instead of Apo and Mudragon.
Food for thought. Gamma is at 2, I tested Accel into Barrone along Infernity Avenger (a brick tuner lvl1 0/0 Fiend but searchable by Piri/Throne) and every time I summoned Baronne I won. Samsara and Throne are handtrap magnets and Gamma is the 4th and 5th CBTG. For the extra deck, these took the slot of Garura and Protector, while Accesscode is interchangeable with Chaos Angel (but I go more for Access because of 2 Phantoms and Baronne also requiring a phantom while Accel is wind so I can't climb into Angel)
I know about the "single handtraps to draw into them with maxx c” strategy but I think you don’t really have to if you play a few handtraps already, I don’t think anyone in the meta rn can beat Yubel through 2-3 handtraps and 6-8 cards in hand! (Just pray you don’t see dark world 🤣) And I kinda agree with spoly. I think it might be better to not run it BUT : I always exclude spoly in all of my videos (excactly for those reasons) and in master duel the card IS better so I wanted to represent it a bit more on this channel :) - thanks for your input as always!
IMO ttt apoll steal hurt harder than evenly. Also rage link steal opponent's monster to spknight is so annoying makes 2700 princess hard to deal with thus open up lots of play next turn.
What do you think about the recent ideas to side deck Ally of Justice Cycle Reader? Its less versatile than D.D. Crow, but I think there could even be an argument to main deck it because of how hard it bricks fiendsmith, and it's useful against white woods too. I guess it depends on if half or more of your matches will feature one of the two, but I feel like its a strong possibility and could secure difficult blind game 1's before even getting the chance to side by utilizing a risky play like that. Weighing the risk vs reward, I think it could work as a bold strategy. A card like this fits perfectly into my vision of card choice being more focused on hyper specific counters rather than generic answers, I'm excited to see other players adopting the philosophy. I think it could be the future of deckbuilding to strategize in that manner going forward.
Activates Throne: Searches Lotus. 5 seconds later Uses Spirit effect: You want to SET it to play around droll. you realize you already played into droll with throne right? like I know it doesn't really matter if you search to hand or set it but don't say something like that. and please don't say the BS answer that it's a good habit to do if you already played into the hand trap you're trying to avoid. I'm still a believer in playing 1 Chronicle and multiple Sharvara. I don't see the reason you wouldn't play multiple in the Yubel deck. if you draw one it protects against targeted negation and it let's you keep it in hand to pop a card on your opponents turn to trigger yama GY effect to revive. master duel is really enforcing the opinion that Sharvara is played at how many is legal at the time for fiend decks. the squirmer is a preference for you but playing 3 squirer makes your sharvara a lot better too. those 2 in combination let's you play around so many things. while it's true you will face a lot more variety of decks but I think you only need 1 super poly 1 eternal favorite. both are technically searchable also a lot of rouge decks try to set up big monster walls. those monster walls mean nothing against 2-3 yubel monsters and a nightmare pain.
1. … yes I know that if you search before nightmare pain, you already played into droll. That has nothing to do with me telling people it’s better to set it. I don’t see a problem with telling people to set nightmare pain with spirit to play around droll? The nightmare throne Combo can be achieved even without the need to search samsara first - it’s just an example scenario to show you what one throne can give you. If you play a lot of games, you will see that, especially if you play 3 samsara or have the 2 card combo (=throne) in hand, your first search can often be nightmare pain and I already saw people STARTING with samsara and then add nightmare pain and there is just no reason to take that risk. So yeah.. it’s better to set nightmare pain if you’re going first. It was just general advice. The reason not to play multiple sharvara is the same reason the OCG was never playing more than one : it’s slow on its own and doesn’t do anything. You can play through imperm on dark beckoning beast with a lot of other cards too and if they try to use imperm on spirit, you still have 1 sharvara and 2-3 squirmer to dodge it. There is just no reason to play more. And i ALWAYS played 3 squirmer since the card is out, but I played master duel and got maxx c'd 3 out of 3 duels and squirmer is really really bad into it. It’s not bad to run 3 but it’s just to reduce the cards that are bad into maxx c. thanks for your input.
I play the sheep package but i will trust you on that and change it to the princess package 😊 My question is how do you play through Evenly matched? After making your end board and passing to your opponent. He enters battle and play the card, so which card of yours do you leave on the field? Thanks ! Cant wait for more master duel videos !!
Personally my preferred answer to Evenly is Escape + Yama in GY. We keep Phantom, then we can recycle Sharvara and revive Rage so when Phantom pops a Spirit we get Yubel to make Promethean live. It also works a bit better into Talent-take where they can immediately force Chamber anyway and threaten you with SP. It's especially bad if they steal an Apo with 2 negates still live. However I didn't face many Evenlys after reaching master, it was mainly used in Branded and Spright decks in diamond. At least for me as EU player
@@babrad Yea i was using the cross sheep package against evenly so didnt have any option in grave. Will change it now to princess. And true it was a Branded player in Diamonds. Thanks again !
@@babradhonestly i get very mixed opinions on that. Some are saying evenly is very often in decks - some are saying it’s no problem. We have to see how bad it is and how many are playing it and then we can see if we adapt our play style to it more often! I like the way you do it, escape gets a lot more value fighting against evenly :)
@@TrinityYGO One more Question please. How much is the impact of effect Veiler in master duel ? Can i remove all 3 of them and put cross out instead to keep it a 40 cards deck? Plus what is your take on Chaos Angel in the Extra deck? Thanks again.
@@LuigiYubel I really really like chaos angel! IMO ttt apoll steal hurt harder than evenly.
Also rage link steal opponent's monster to spknight is so annoying makes 2700 princess hard to deal with thus open up lots of play next turn.
Get those easy gems against Blue-Eyes
Do you plan on putting out a video with all the combos?
Yep I will make another video where I show more combos!
I don't see the reason you wouldn't play multiple in the Yubel deck. if you draw one it protects against targeted negation and it let's you keep it in hand to pop a card on your opponents turn to trigger yama GY effect to revive. master duel is really enforcing the opinion that Sharvara is played at how many is legal at the time for fiend decks. the squirmer is a preference for you but playing 3 squirer makes your sharvara a lot better too. those 2 in combination let's you play around so many things.
while it's true you will face a lot more variety of decks but I think you only need 1 super poly 1 eternal favorite. both are technically searchable also a lot of rouge decks try to set up big monster walls. those monster walls mean nothing against 2-3 yubel monsters and a nightmare pain.
so many games where all I did was set up x number yubel monsters with pain and attacked their strongest monster to win for free.
I play the sheep package but i will trust you on that and change it to the princess package 😊
My question is how do you play through Evenly matched?
In the version without spoly, I play him! :)
And veiler is a good handtrap since snake eyes/fire kings is still one of the best decks (if they don’t open Kirin, otherwise they can dodge it!)
So I wouldn’t cut them tbh - do you want crossout for a specific card or just to have protection in general? :)
