@@adamsmith-u5n feel your pain , I bought at $50 been averaging down. I'm at 18 now and if this goes to 20 I'm out! It's been a long road and I need my money back!
Interesting idea, and I heard it several times... The thing is that I don't trust it, and I see it as hard speculation of what might happen. Don't get me wrong, I am sure Nio will cross 30$ value, but not because of this news... Have a great day! ;)
it will eventually happen with another brand, could be some no name brand in china, but it will have to wait for nio's new slim batteries being launched next year, the current batteries are way too thick and people hate it in sedans, in SUVs they are okay
batteries technology is advancing very fast ..... with the ability of changing into more advanced batteries without changing EV will be of great advantage in future
What impressed me more than the Mercedes speculation is the Abu Dhabi investment of $ 740 million. They for sure did due diligence before buying a stake of a car maker. NIO will find it's way up. As the China's EV market is huge and statistics showing Chinese buying more home products as well being compatible with the rest of the world the future is great for NIO to have a share.
licensing is best and easiest route. use xpt battery packs and xpt electric motors and nio's adas/fsd. also as long as they buy existing shares which i think is what happened with xpeng, instead of the abu dhabi garbage where we issued new shares at rock bottom prices causing a lot of dilution.
Unless the partnership is more like what VW did...That I would love to see and mercedes ceo did meet with nio ceo...I'm sure they weren't talking about the kids soccer game so I think something could be in the works...
BMW, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes and Stellantis just partered up to build 30,000 charging station across the US...Why would Mercedes then partner with NIO...I'm a big share holder of NIO with12,000 shares so I would love to see it but I don't think it's happening...
VW is not the right fit for NIO. Mercedes (or the sportier BMW) are better match. NIO could benefit from cooperation with those in expanding BaaS thru Licensing the overall Technology, on the Car and in the Stations. I rather NIO collect Licensing Fee with a very Long term contract, rather than giving away equity. The recent investment by a firm in UAE, and the fact that Mercedes is mostly owned by a firm in Saudi Arabia, could point at a favorable direction, one firm acting as bridge to bring in the others in the NIO Club. Super Long NIO!
Hope the rumor materializes !! God job Laurens!
Thank you!
GO NIO GO 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
$20 by end of year

Nio will blast through $20 regardless.

BMW would be a better bet bc they’re more popular in China especially among younger buyers.
$25 stock minimum. Way undervalued in my opinion and long term hold for $100+ a share

am far behind you with 4.5 k shares
Is Audi out of the question?
Audi is owned by Volkswagen so it is unlikely they will partner with NIO.
Audi has entered into a partnership with SAIC Group.

Super Long NIO!
Mercedes or BMW?
i need nio to be 58$ to get out of this shit stick with 0 loss
What if Apple is the partner? Man, NIO would hit $100 by EOY
Now that idea is pure genius! Love that thought!
fascinating. nio loves to partner
or just getting more investors from Abu Dhabi or Saudi Arabia
