they won't, they were never supposed to even date for this long, it's because they were dating irl and the writer just prolonged them. that's why they added tabitha as a main character, jughead's new love interest

I was a true Bughead fan but now the spark is all gone and we have to accept it. I think Bughead isn't endgame and yeah they had amazing moments together ofc! now it's all in the past and betty and jug will be happy too maybe apart from each other 😭 it's hard cause we always were team Bughead but for me after the time jump we can see that jug and Betty aren't the same
