Mitchell C I Have Repented and I do follow Jesus Teachings. I have also been baptized by fire of the Holy Ghost. Born again of the water and of the Spirit. Jesus does claim fo be God. He wrote the Bible and the Bible states that he’s God. The Jesus you are describing isn’t the one from the Bible. We have to follow the Jesus Christ of the Bible. Any other Jesus is blasphemy and go against the warnings of 2nd Corinthians 11 and Galatians 1. I guess the question you might need to wrestle with is: Have you have found the correct Jesus? Are you born again As Jesus says in John 3? Do you show evidence of one born again? What does it means to be born again? What does it mean to “know God and why does God reject those who claim to now Him in the day of judgement? Important questions one should search the soul on. What are the answer to the above questions? Do you know for sure where you will go when you die?
For God so loved ❤ the world 🌎 that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life 💙(John 3;16)
I’ve been attending Rhema Bible college for the past two years. It’s a Word of Faith church. I agree completely with Pastor Winger. I can also say that there is a lot of pressure on anyone that does not receive healing; to the point of condemnation.
This is heartbreaking to hear. Just hold on to the love that God has for you. Your healing is based on what Jesus did for you through his death, burial, & resurrection. Not based on works or "hoops" that Faith Teachers outline for the "formula" for healing. You are loved and not condemned. .
Who is it that divides, snares, tempts, sifts, manipulates, gaslights, is legalistic, harasses, destroys, kills, steals, attacks, lies, slanders, accuses, oppresses, decieves, and condemns, but Satan and his ilk???? Do NOT feed the flesh it strengthens the flesh.. the Old Sinful Rebellious Nature, and puts us in harms way! Remember, that if we sin not, the devil can not "touch us," as John puts it, "he will flee," as James puts it! Just draw near to God and He WILL draw near to you! Resist the evil one!
Thank you for answering the first question in this session. I have experienced being told it is due to my own lack of faith that my chronic illness has not been taken from me. This always seemed unbiblical to me, yet the effects of hearing this is unfortunate; and I know many Christians have heard this and been damaged. Sometimes our illnesses allow us to be more compassionate with the hurting and broken. Illness is certainly not fun and we never give up on God using it for good. It doesn't take away from God's power and love that I have not been healed and I will not feel shamed, thinking it is my lack of faith that prevents God from healing me--that is ridiculous. Thank you, Mike.
Thank you for the honest and reasonable response on Masturbation. I had someone try to tell me that Leviticus 15:16 was definitive proof that Masturbation was a sin because "emissions of semen" made a man ceremonially unclean in the Old testament, and the same word for unclean was used in the new testament regarding sin. Except if you look at the full context any emission of any kind was considered unclean, even if it wasn't sinful. Including poop, puke, menstruation and marital sex. When I brought that to their attention they rebuked me and said I was neither intellectual nor spiritual. Keep in mind I was not arguing that masturbation wasn't a sin, I just wasn't convinced that Leviticus could be used to condemn it. They haven't talked to me since -_-
Well if you masturbate you are probably thinking about.. or watching ... so you're basically committing adultery right? Better to just sleep with your wife.
Please Pray for my wife here pictured. She has been through a lot with Surgeries & now her health in general. We ask this in Jesus's Precious Name..Amen!
May God Bless Y'all for your Prayers! Susana has just been diagnosed with Guillain -Barre syndrome...And I'm Praying for Mercy & Healing in her recovery. Thankyou Father!
I'm so sorry to hear that. :( I would 100% begin with directly telling satan to GO AWAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. Also, pain go away in the name of Jesus Christ. I also know we have been told we can rebuke things, but I always ask Jesus to rebuke the enemy. I say this because He rubuked the wind and even the winds and storms obey Him. He is the Word. Also, think if you have brought something into your house and this began after that, or, if one of you have opened the door to the devil in some way. Sometimes even the smallest things we don't even think about, is opening doors that are difficult to close.
I was raised in a Pentecostal, Charismatic, Prophetic and Apostolic culture. I only got introduced to reformed theology and other systematic theology later. I think you treated the healing question fairly. Thanks mfundisi (pastor)
God was calling hardcto me 2yrs before I found out that I had stage 4 cancer. I started studying with the jehovah witnesses but saw that it wasn't right. God had something for me to do and it is to share my story. He was with me even though I didn't think so some times, hind sight is 20 20. I got to remission in 13 months and have been in remission for 14 months now. He has healed me
God can do all things, His healing YOU was His will, and for His Glory.. but not to be expected as "what happens all the time." That "word-faith, modern signs and wonders, modern-day "prophets" and "apostles," spirit warfare, health and wealth, name it and claim it" rubbish IS rubbish, and IS Heresy! So are women deacons, teachers (especially of men), leaders (especially over men), so-called "co-pastors," and, pastors! All of this man-made bs isn't Biblical!
You are such a blessing to the body of Christ! I've been following you for a few yrs now. I think I found you in 2017 (I was saved in 2016) and I was all messed up from being raised a JW and then my mother went full on into Christian Science and then left that and went fully into New Age. Needless to say I was a spiritual basket case. You have blessed me and my walk so much as you have helped me to learn to discern and I have learned so much from you. I cannot wait for these Q&A's because people always ask such great questions I never thought of or I always think of and forget to ask. And you handle all of them so well. And it's also really nice to see some sound pastors in California. I'm in Northern Cal (I used to live in So Cal for many yrs). I am trying hard to find a church, but still have not found one that teaches sound doctrine. That's where you come in my life and have been a steady source for me. I just want to say thank you for all you do! God bless you abundantly, Pastor Mike! Love you very much, brother! And Moxie! :) PS Not gonna lie, but I also love your humor! You always make me laugh!
I've been a Christian for many, many years and have been listening to Mike for some time now, I am glad you found his videos Fishwife, he is balanced and will do you a great deal of good in understanding of correct doctrinal teaching, you must have been directed by the Lord, continue to grown into the image of Christ as you continue to mature by this teaching. God bless you dear Sister.
The sensitive "topic" half way through this video...destroys marital bliss in unspoken ways and the longer it is a habit of pleasing yourself in this way and longer unrepented in your life the harder to have your partner please you and desire to please. But God has freed many from the damaging affects. Good job answering this sensitive subject!
This is a really interesting topic, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard Biblical advice like this on this topic! I find myself reflecting on my own marriage now. I think the M word has just become a very normal thing in our corrupted society, that Christians are not being explained exactly this. So how could I go about discussing this with my husband? I do see how when I say no, he will go to the bathroom instead. And I see how that’s lending a fleshly satisfaction for him, and should that energy instead he spent towards building up your wife, so she wants to have relations? I’m connecting the dots, that M seems to be a Scape goat for the man to get exactly what he wants, and it doesn’t include his wife. And then it’s just a cycle. Neglecting the wife, wife doesn’t want relations because she isn’t getting what she should from the husband, so husband bypasses her and satisfies himself. How can a wife bring this info to the table, and not come across nagging or lecturing? 🤔
Do you know people who have experienced this negatively impact their marriages? Im single so thats why im asking. Like why does it affect them? Is it cause theyre selfpleasing instead of having sex with their spouse?
Thank you pastor Mike for all you do I found your YT channel in 2020 during the worst part of Covid and I was just seeking truth! Backstory I was working at a call center where we prayed for people who watched the WOF channel on tv. I knew something was off with the WOF preachers message but didn't know all the information! I believe God led me to you! And I have stayed every since I watched that very first video. Because of your videos I have way more knowledge of the word of God thank you!
Yes we belong to him healing Spiritual and physical we have been bought with his blood and now we belong to him and no matter what we are healed physically and we will be with him for eternity
hey, mike...this is cindy johannesen. thanks for opening today with my question and addressing it the way you did. i share your view on that and appreciate your insight. also for the way you addressed the question referencing the healing of the man at the temple. i will be looking forward to your upcoming video addressing wof issues as well. you did well today tackling some tough issues. thank you for your diligence and straightforward approach. and, btw, you did a much better job on pronouncing my name than most...lol...and moxie is indeed totally adorable! be blessed!
I loved your question! Thank you for asking it. Can I ask you, what drew you out of WoF? Or rather what was your tipping point? My husbands entire family is WoF, so I’m very interested in hearing how you came to truth.
@@jaquirox6579 hi...i actually never bought into a lot of it...it just never sat right with me...all the declaring and decreeing stuff just reeked of ordering God what to do and all the new age type stuff just made me cringe. it was to the point i could see that it didn't seem to be about God anymore but rather what seemed best for the flesh. lots of other factors as well. i just started really asking God to show me what was right and researching doctrines. then i had an opportunity to be in a meeting with a group called adam's road who encouraged me to just really read the Bible afresh. they are former mormons ...i joke now about how it took former mormon missionaries for me to get back on the right track...lol. just stay in prayer for them that God would open their eyes. it is scary how mainstream so much of this thinking has become and crept into churches of so many denominations! i pray a lot for the Lord to keep me from being deceived and am so grateful for His mercy and faithfulness! i pray for people to see the truth of who God is and that He is sovereign and He alone is worthy to be praised, worshipped, and glorified and i pray for people to see their need for salvation that only comes thru Jesus. i hope your husband's family will see the truth and turn from the false teachings of wof. follow Jesus and grow in Him, Jaqui...He is fathful. \o/
ubombo girl Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. It really sounds like God drew you out. And I can relate to so much of what you said. I wasn’t raised in the church. And was “saved” when I was 19. But I had experienced tons of churches in my life. Throughout childhood, and even into adulthood, all the churches I had ever attended fell into NAR, WoF, and prosperity gospel type teachings. I never heard the Gospel in my life, that I can recall. And I always felt uncomfortable with all the “spiritual” type behaviors I saw in all these churches my entire life. I resolved to not really going to church anymore, but occasionally attended a very shallow mega church in my city. And then fell into New Age, actually for a few years! I say now, looking back, like I was a false convert, and a Christianese New Ager. Because that’s honestly what I was. Zero discipleship in my entire life. All I knew was that the people at all those churches were obviously crazy, and I didn’t like it. God led me out of my own delusions, and into His Word, originally through UA-cam as well. Have you seen Justin Peter’s Seminar on Clouds Without Water?? I highly recommend it to literally everyone! Between UA-cam, and reading my Bible daily, I have come leaps the last couple years. By through finding al this Truth, came a new problem at my doorstep. Realizing how full blown, crazy town USA, my in laws are. And the last couple years I’ve heavily sought out advice on what to do. They aren’t just WoF, they are leaders. They own 2 churches in two states, and are the lead pastors at them. I always try to get into live Q&A’s and ask for help, but I don’t get chosen. So I just keep trying. I completely and totally submit to God’s sovereignty, and have full faith that He will take care of everything. But it’s just hard to live in that strife with this huge family. It’s hard. And I have a 4 year old child, I’m also trying to protect. Sorry for the rant. God bless sister. ♥️
@@jaquirox6579 yes, i have seen quite a bit of justin peter's stuff. stay in the Word and ask the Lord to bring some solid Christian mentors into your life. i will certainly pray for you as well.
In the question of masturbation, i do agree that it happens when we are being fleshly driven instead of keeping our mind on the things which are to be of the Lord. We tend to be self centered instead of dying to our selves and clothing our selves with the righteousness of the Lord. I say this because i myself been a Christian for almost 20 years or more and when i was a baby in the Lord if there is such a term “baby”, i was so in love with the bible and i thought it was impossible for me to commit sin or even do things that some people considers as just wrong compared to sin, because sometimes we say its wrong but it doesn’t mean it is sin. Well times passed by, i found my self associating with non believers and theres nothing wrong with it supposedly if i didn’t do what they were doing. I mean, i did talk the way they talk and just went with the flow. I was still believing in the Lord and i know i can’t denounce him when i was doing all those bad things or sins. Even when i married my typical catholic christian wife who doesn’t really have that deep devotion to the things of the Lord, i was acting like them contrary to what i learned from the bible when i was on fire for the things of the Lord. So, even after i get married, there were times that i masturbate when i asked my wife and she says no. However, at this point of my life after listening to several answers about the questions of whether masturbation is sin, that a christian should keep away from, i am not saying that i won’t be masturbating anymore ever but i think i have now a clear reason why i shouldn’t be doing it. The reasons that made me feel it was okay to masturbate was that i haven’t heard any clear answer if it is sin or not and if i heard the same answers before that convinced me now that it is sin then maybe i forgot or i was not listening carefully. I am now convinced that masturbation is sin no matter what reason we come up doing it because it is simply one of those things we are ashamed of doing if we are to do it in front of the living God. We easily do things that are not good when we think that we are away from God or think that God doesn’t care about the things we are going to do. However, if we really think that we are in the presence of God then we know for sure what things we shouldn’t do, and the reason we shouldn’t do is simply because it is sin. Sin is anything shameful to associate our self with specially in the presence of God. Now, the only thing i need to do is to believe that i’m in the presence of God, that will for sure keep me away from sin.
Masturbation is similar to urination, you have to pee just like you have to masturbate or your balls will swell! for goodness sake Paul the apostle murdered christians before his conversion on the road to Damascus. I hope this clears things up for you.
Douglas Murray masturbation is a sign of weakness and lack of self control. Urination is a necessity of life, something you cant control, it also doesnt bring condemnation, like masturbation does. So not a good comparison. If it is a problem, God can deliver anyone from anything. If fornication, lust and adultery is sin, why wouldnt it b sin to have sex with yourself? wouldn’t turning yourself on b in the same category?
Mitchell C the Son of Man, also know as the Son of God Mark 7:10-12 “for he had cured many, so that all who had diseases pressed upon him to touch him. Whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and shouted, “You are the Son of God!” But he sternly ordered them not to make him known.”
Q5 great explanation/answer to this question. His grace and forgiveness covers ALL our sins when we repent and ask for forgiveness. And Jesus said, go and sin no more. Nothing compares to His love for us!
Thank you so much for your words. I've really struggled with speaking to my sister about certain things because I did the same when I was her age. She also consistently brings up things that I used to do in my past that have had an influence on her and it increases the feeling of hypocrisy in me. So thank you for the encouragement.
Sarah Zimmerman, do not believe everything that Mike Winger says, I've had to correct him a few times. Mike, like you, do not know the Bible when it comes to certain doctrines such as healing.
I think we need to remember balance. Sometimes we looks at WOF camps and see their boldness in the face of sickness and make generalizations like yours. In reality, they acknowledge that test and trials will come (john 10:10) but also realize we don't just have to settle with those things for the rest of our life. I mean by your comment, you make it seem like it's a sin to be sick and that's not true at all!
@@BEABEREAN10 There are three main reasons why people fail to receive healing, and none of them are down to God. (1), Lack of knowledge. God said His people are in bondage and even destroyed by the lack of the. Jesus said the truth will set us free. (2), Lack of faith. See how Jesus said things like, Thy faith has healed you, and According to your faith be it done to you. (3) Sin, disobedience and unforgiveness. They will always hinder the blessings of God. You really need to believe the TRUE Word of God Teachers..
I just found your 20 questions show. I'm a mixed up Christian, had and believed Word of Faith then New Thought. I found your show very informative. Thanks PS Mike.
Lots of nuggets for me. Love all the QA. For me the debate is not whether the Lord heals, but whatever the “on demand healing” gift of healing is in operation today. It clearly is not, but millions have been mislead by charlatans peddling this idea. God bless you Mike
Thank you brother Mike some really great biblical advice to apply to our daily lives. Father's blessings to you and your family always in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior.
I love seeing your cats. TFS them with us. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats (all rescues). One of my cats is a rare male calico. These cats are first cats for us as we've always been dog people. I didn't know I could love a cat but they sure showed me! When I adopted my Capt. Fishipants, they assumed he was a female calico kitten and opened him up to find no female organs. Poor boy, but he is a healthy 3 year old now. They called me and told me what they had done and said, "do you still want him?" I didn't know it was rare, but I didn't mind if he was a girl or boy so I adopted him. Then googled it and found out it's very rare. He was meant to be! Thank you for your ministry. I watch you regularly and appreciate the wisdom God has given you and that you share it freely!
Thank you! Praise Jesus Christ our Lord! I’m grateful for this time that we can learn more about who Jesus Christ is, and to grow in that and walk! Thank you Brother 🙏🏻
Mike at first I was angry - I got out my study guide ready to pounce. I was screaming when you said it was spiritual. But you turned it around. Well balanced, thank you for making it clear that God's perfect will is for us to be healed. And why we don't get healed doesn't mean it is not God's perfect will. We don't know the full picture. And we won't receive all God promises until we are in a resurrected body.
If you look up "heal" from Isaiah and 1 pet it does mean physical healing..I have no idea why it doesn't always manifest! I am crying put to God for healing..Jesus healed all that were sick except in his hometown. Also Mike you mentioned that there are other promises like a resurrected body that we haven't obtained yet. But Jesus did come and heal physically but he didn't give people resurrected bodies or other promises but he definitely did heal showing that it was possible. There's some many, including me, suffering in the body of Christ it would be wonderful if the healing gifts would fully manifest.
Thank you for answering these questions biblically and it has really helped. Especially the one about whether we healed completely. Love your passion for sharing the word
I agree with your perspective on the first question. He confirmed this for me years ago during my personal Bible study, but I always second guessed if I heard right b/c I've heard many people claim this scripture out of context as they pray for healing over the years. Oh, and I like your library behind you!
Not really. When Jesus resurrected Lazarus nobody called it healing. It was a foretaste of what was to come, namely, Jesus' triumph over SPIRITUAL DEATH, which is why He said, "He who believes in me...will never die.
@@mikerutkowski7265 oh you righteous man that does not sin! you have lifted up your self hight and please don't reply. Paul said we are going to suffer and that he is suffering. are you calling Paul a liar? I got healed twice and now I am suffering from something. do you think I got healed because I was not sinning? or because He loves me? there is no such thing as not sinning for us in this mortal state. don't pick and choose. we all fell short of Glory of God. Oh not you. the only one who could overcome sin was Jesus. for us. if we could do it we would not need Him. do you realize what you are saying? you misunderstand what ''overcome''means for us: is to keep our faith, trust and to strive to be righteous as much as possible until the end. FAITH is our overcoming! I am not afraid of this virus, never been because I trust Him. but that doesn't mean I can not suffer from something else. it might be to humble me, it might be to purge me, to justify me, it might be to teach me something...it can be something physical... and matter of fact the Lord has guided me step by step what to do to get my healing. should I say I don't believe enough? I don't think so. should I say I am not saved? I can not. I know I am , in fact the Lord made me a promise. a personal promise. do I know I am going to heaven? I don't, like nobody else. that's what we call hope. and YOU should surely hope! you will get sick. and then the Lord will teach you about pride. I'll pray for you to keep your faith when that happens, because your fall will be great.
Moximus Rex. Just as you switched to Moxie at the end my 20 year old Chihuahua let out a huge snore. (He's just not a 🐈 person.) I do have a bone to pick with you. You are not simply gifted in answering questions, you are led of the Spirit BEAUTIFULLY. I have been terribly missing my husband, who passed away recently, not least because we listened to, read, studied and talked about the Bible day and night. I have literally been starving for the kind of wonderful answers he would give. Listening to you I have not heard one thing I think he would disagree with, and my only regret is that we can't listen to you together. You have been such a comfort to me right now. Thank you so much and God bless you for your time and watering of the word. You and your teaching are a real joy in Christ to me right now. God bless you brother.
@Sandra Roche Thank you so much Sandra. Comments like yours are sometimes the only thing that can brighten my day right now. Believe me, yours did. God bless you sis. ♥️ I am so sorry for your own loss, and you will also be in my prayers. "Pray for one another."-James 5 Stay close to Jesus, He's coming soon! 😇
Faith isn't always on the person being healed but also lays on the shoulders of all who are involved, as is the men who lowered their friend to Jesus. Jesus made mention of their faith. Also, the father who was asking Jesus to heal his child. The child seemingly wasn't the one who was expected to have the faith, and the father said he believed and then asked Jesus to help his unbelief. This points us to the one doing the healing (Jesus) is the one who has all the responsibility. No one but God alone heals.
Dear Mike, just pointing out the question about the salt and the sacrifices. In Mark 9, the salt also represents judgment (being salted with fire, verses 48 and 49). I've always thought of salt as an image for self-examination. Either God judges me or I judge myself. And when I make a sacrifice to God, that's always a moment to think about myself, my behavior and my relationship to God. God's blessing
I believe God HIMSELF aced it, not interpretations of it. people today lacks faith but have no issue to find reasons not to accept certain things God gives us freely we will take healing all day over and over BY FAITH.
Regarding the power over sickness, the apostles had that power because Jesus directly told them "whatever you bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth shall be loosed in heaven" but He did not give all Christians that blanket command or power. We only receive that power over sickness when we TRULY feel the Holy Spirit moving in us to heal.
James 5 13 Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone happy? He should sing songs of thanks to God. 14 Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the church leaders and they should pray for him. They should pour oil on him in the name of the Lord. 15 The prayer given in faith will heal the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Bless you, brother, and praise to our great God and saviour.
amen. amen amen. HEALING IS ABSOLUTELY PART OF OUT LIVES TODAY. i lf people do kt want to accept it. then they should not complain when sickness and ilness overcome them. it is accpeted through faith and somehow people would rather choose to not accept it. mind bogging
Lon Spector we do not ask for pity in prayer as God gave us a Hope and a Future and pity is a bad gift to have. and Gods mercies are new every day according to His Word so we do not ask fot it every time as well becasue we have already received it. one should not ask things already received
Pieter du Plessis Jesus knows the heart. Scripture also says; Romans 8 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. I don't like to cherry pick, but I think it works here. Not saying it's out of the way to pray for pity, or mercy, but we're covered either way, brothers. Praise the Lord :)
I don't I agree with Mike's answer on masturbation. I have always thought that Matthew 5:27-30 addressed masturbation. Within the context of talking about lust, Jesus says to gouge out your eye and cut off your right hand if it causes you to sin. While I agree with Mike's earlier teaching that one should not literally cut of their hand, given that it is in the context that lust is adultery in the heart, I can't think what else the right hand can be referring to. It is clear from the context that it is a lustful act that is not actual intercourse. I think this is saying that masturbation is sinful. Also, the Bible makes clear that sex is a gift to he shared between husband and wife. I am highly skeptical that someone could masturbate without any lustful thoughts. Can someone say that they can watch porn just to appreciate the acting? My advice would be stay away from this fire. I don't mean to cause guilt or condemnation for anyone because I struggled with this until getting married, but before that I wished I had never discovered this bitter fruit. Thanks be to Jesus, there is forgiveness and freedom from guilt, when we trust in him.
It can certainly be a stumbling block. The way I interpreted what Mike was saying is that if you cannot divorce/separate the act from lust then run from it. Additionally if would not be faithful to do when you are married. He is not giving a total green light. He is saying in the context of a single person on a rare occasion doing it without lust so as to have the physical release. To prevent the temptation to lust. Because it's not so much a matter of the act it is a matter of the lust. I think it is categorically similar to polygamy. God allowed and perhaps might still allow polygamy but it is not in his perfect will. God's ultimate answer to sexual desire is marriage. But given the context he described I think the scenario he described is far superior to someone putting pressure on themselves to never do it and they inevitably do it because they are more vulnerable to lust and then act on the lust and it becomes a never ending cycle of condemnation and repentance. Whereas with this context it is someone being deliberate and proactive. That is a greater degree of self control if you ask me. I think I'm with him in this. Which of course it can be taken too far very easily.
@@chriscomeaux3354 Do you think masturbation can be separated from lustful thoughts? Biblically speaking, a lustful thought it any sort of conscious thought that stimulates sexual desire for someone other than your spouse. I don't think so, and I am deeply skeptical of anyone who says otherwise, to be honest. I have a hard time believing that your sexual organs can properly function whilst simultaneously engaging the same exact parts of your brain that are engaged during intercourse, and yet somehow not be thinking sexual thoughts or gratifying yourself sexually.
Perfect love exists and is expressed between the three persons of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). This is why Christianity alone, among the great monotheistic faiths, is able to affirm that love is an essential and necessary property of God's identity and character, not contingent upon the existence of any other being to function as the object of God's love :)
So, are you saying that every believer should be healed? Obviously, that doesn’t happen. God does not heal everyone. We can ask and pray but ultimately it’s up to God. He is God we are not.
On the issue of masterbation (excuse spelling) - I have a friend who had a stoke and is now in a bed. He gets a problem where his sperm will glog and become stoney (hardened) which can cause him to become very ill and also lose the functionality of his male organ. So we had this conversation as it is medically necessary for him to masturbate. He does not look at anything to provoke lust. His alternative is going to a doctor for them to literally "relieve" him. Once he went there and only a female doctor was there, so that makes it more difficult. I explained to him that if his mind is not lustful leading to him "relieving" himself I see no reason it is wrong as it is medically necessary
I think the same way as you. It's much more about where your heart lies so if he needs it medically and is not doing it with a lustfull mind or thinking of anything lustfull to provoke it then I really think it's ok and he shouldn't worry. He could also try to talk with a doctor to say he wants only a male doctor to do this and if it's possible to arrange his meetings in such a way, but I'm not sure, maybe it's not something he can do on a regular scedule. Just giving an idea. But yeah I personally think he doesn't need to worry.
Jesus didn't go around giving glorified bodies, or promising that no one would suffer on earth, but he did go around healing all who came to him, raising the dead, etc. That was part of his ministry on earth and it was part of the Apostles' ministry and throughout their whole ministry. So healings were fully manifesting when Jesus was on earth and afterwards showing healing and the gifts as a reality we should be experiencing today.
Isaiah 53:5? 🙏🏼 Thanks for pointing out the Matthew passage. I hadn't thought of that. 🤔 Here's my "Pithy?" Interpretation 😎 In Genesis, via Adam, we LOST our Spiritual Life Immediately and Physical Life Later. When born from above, we GAIN our Spiritual Life Immediately and Physical Life Later.
So if you agree healing is part of the atonement, isn’t it according to OUR faith? Jesus healed and he seemed to always say “be it according to your faith” or “you have great faith”. We’re the imperfect ones so I’m going to believe people don’t get healed because we just missed it somewhere. It was a promise and all of his promises are yes and amen. Period. I do enjoy your teachings.
Hi Pastor Mike, Seems you interpret "by whose stripes you were healed" applies to physical healing which I agree with, an atonement for our bodies. However, you believe this applies to sometime in the future, if so, when? I believe this applies today because in the future believers will have glorified supernatural bodies like Jesus after His resurrection. It's the current body that needs healing, and that is why Jesus' ministry included physical healing which was carried forward by the apostles after they were baptized by the Holy Spirit. We have to take "by whose stripes you were healed" and personalize it, not be moved by our carnal mind or what the body tells us but trust what God has said (faith). Jesus was marveled by the centurion's faith because he just relied on Jesus' word knowing that was enough and that is what we are called to now since we have His written Word.
Also, cats are fun to watch hunt but if you want a companion, get a Bavarian Mountain Hound😉 They’re rare and hard to get but the best family dogs out there, barely shed too! We imported ours and we have a wait list but if you ever decided to get one, hit me up and I’ll make it happen👍👊

That "word-faith, modern signs and wonders, modern-day "prophets" and "apostles," spirit warfare, health and wealth, name it and claim it" rubbish IS rubbish, and IS Heresy! Q: I have a question for your next question answering video! Can Christians be possessed? If not, can you help explain a situation I had? I was having a panic attack recently and I began to pray for Jesus to deliver me. I got sick three times and immediately felt peace. I have had panic attacks in the past but have never had peace and all negative emotion LEAVE ME as if it hadn't been there after a panic attack. Could that have been a possession? To provide more background into myself, I was raised in the church, got baptized when I was 21, turned away from God (intensely) for nine years and recently came back to Jesus four months ago. I hope you answer my question! I have been having a lot of demonic attacks and it would help a lot. God bless.
I know it's been 3 years, but no I don't think that's a demon possession. Demons can oppress christians, but not possess. You're under feelings in that scenario, but they aren't taking over your body.
The reference in Matthew 8,17 uses the important word 'fulfil'. So it seems Jesus fulfilled the physical healing aspects of Isaiah 53 during his healing ministry outreach on earth. Therefore physical healing is Not in the atonement (but spiritual healing from sins is as per 1 peter 2)
I almost entirely agree about masturbation, but I'd say in marriage it could sometimes have a place as well. Another teacher who has similar views to you Mike said that military couples especially may do that while on the phone and thinking of each other and it's kind of a long distance way of making love. Not sure about it myself since I am a single and very confused young woman on these matters, but that is something to consider.
Q: How can we know if objective morality exists, if we’re subjects of moral laws (from God or society (in evolution sense) determined). I’m a Christian, and every time I speak with unbeliever about morality person says: “yeah, rape is bad, and I can’t think otherwise (like it’s merely impossible) because society shaped my moral conscience from deep childhood”. Is it possible for human beings to find out if morality have objectivity?
What if you struggle with loving and forgiving others, especially those that hurt you? I know we're to love our enemies, but I really struggle with that. I do have a heart for people, but when someone constantly hurts me it's hard to forgive. I keep praying for God to help me with this. I've repented for my sins and don't want to be like this. Am I still not saved? I thought we go through a sanctification process? :(
@Lon Spector Thank you Lon for your reply. I really appreciate it. It's just people being nasty, no abuse or anything. Sorry if it came off that way. I pray for peace and take one moment at a time. Some days are better than others with me not getting angry or upset. Thank you again. God bless you.
He said the same of drinking poison and not dying. He said these things would happen in the church and they do happen in the church. This does not mean it will happen every time anyone tries, but it certainly does happen as Jesus said.
When people talk about Jesus’ stripes it’s in a flippant way like a magical tiger costume or something, they seem to be removed from the reality of His back being torn open repeatedly. What the ‘stripes’ actually mean. Roman whips usually contained many leather strands, each having sharp pieces of bone or metal at the ends. It reduced the back to raw flesh, and it was not unusual for a criminal to die from a scourging, even before crucifixion. We cannot imagine the pain or torture our Saviour endured to purchase our salvation and yes ultimate healing.
Matthew 8 :14. Says Jesus healed Peters mother so as to fulfill Isaiah ,s prophecy of He carried our sickness and healed our infirmities. IT IS ABOUT BODILY HEALING too, God bless you sir
There are also not hyper-charismatic denominations who believe in healing in the cross. The C&MA upholds Jesus as Saviour, Sanctified, Healer and Coming King. A denomination with a very balanced theology. Not too far one way and not too far the other way. They don't take a stand on secondary issues. As one of my former pastors and Bible Study teachers, former vice-president of the Alliance, John Soper of the app Mission 119, says, "it's all about Jesus!" I find Mike's position is pretty much what I have been taught. Sure, I guess there are churches within denominations that go off, but the theology is great. Everyone knows Tozer is cool! Ravi Zacharias was an Alliance evangelist before he started his special ministry. I am not a one-denomination pusher!!! I am just blessed to have been blessed by sound doctrine teaching.
20:00 I push back on using masturbation for calming down. What if you had no appendages? We make decisions all the time. This is just another one. We choose LOVE.
Regarding 37.33, lying signs and wonders, what are some of them in the New Testament? Was brother Mike referring to Revelations. Those are the only ones I can think of.
@mikewinger I’m a Protestant but after hearing Trent Horn’s response to your videos on Catholicism it really made me question, it seemed as though you were misrepresenting it and knocking down straw men. Don’t want to cause conflict through youtube response videos, but I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts

Hey Mike, I was hovering over your channel for a while to wait for this to go live, but not only did I not see it before it went live (as you do when a channel is about to go live) but I could not see it until after you were done going live. Just so you know.
Q. Dear Pr. Mike, I much appreciate your teaching. Living here in Paraguay it's difficult to send questions at the right time! Could you sometime explain the significance of the Wedding Garment in Matt. 22: 11- 13? I find it very puzzling.
Mike, when Jesus was crying out "Father, why have you forsaken me", when dying Jesus was quoting Psalm 22:1 which is the last scripture about Jesus before he died. Jesus didn't only say that because he was agonized. Jesus quoted Psalm 22:1.
@Lon Spector Read Matthew 27:46 Read Psalm 22:1 Then compare those two verses. Jesus was quoting Psalm 22:1 and by doing it Jesus fulfilled the last scripture about him.

NO GOONING!!!!!!

I think we should glorify God in spite of our illnesses
And, we should pray that even our illnesses bring glory to God, somehow.
They haven't talked to me since -_-
My mom told me that also and she had another verse she would quote about seed falling to the ground.
God always has a plan for our goodness. Trust in Him to bitter or sweet.
God be with you.

I'm so sorry to hear that. :(
I would 100% begin with directly telling satan to GO AWAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.
Have you looked into the Catholic Church? It's worth a probe.

This teaching literally took my mind off my headache as my medicine was kicking in. Thank you Pastor Mike! I always learn from you.
And Moxie! :)
PS Not gonna lie, but I also love your humor!
@@wmperkins25 Thank you so much, brother! I do feel the Lord led me to Pastor Mike as well. God bless you!
22:56 "you are as clean as he has made you clean, not as clean as the sins of your past" Amen!
Yes totally agree and it’s definitely sinful. I believe single people are called to celibacy in Christ and we should practice self control.
Jaqui Rox it leaves us empty and never being truly known
Christine B I can identify with those exact feelings.
@@jaquirox6579 yes, i have seen quite a bit of justin peter's stuff. stay in the Word and ask the Lord to bring some solid Christian mentors into your life. i will certainly pray for you as well.
ubombo girl Oh good! Justin is really exceptional at talking about WoF issues. :) And thank you, seriously. I really appreciate the prayers.
@@douglasmurray818 this is sooo senseless.
@@Isaiah--vj2xu no it is not senseless
Douglas Murray masturbation is a sign of weakness and lack of self control. Urination is a necessity of life, something you cant control, it also doesnt bring condemnation, like masturbation does. So not a good comparison. If it is a problem, God can deliver anyone from anything. If fornication, lust and adultery is sin, why wouldnt it b sin to have sex with yourself? wouldn’t turning yourself on b in the same category?
Douglas Murray it is true that If you don’t masturbate you will have dreams. It is going to release no matter what. It’s biology:
Mike is such a great preacher of the word of Jesus
Mitchell C Jesus is god the son, there is also god the father, and god the Holy Spirit! Atoms have protons, neutrons, and elections, three in one!
Jesus is the Son of God
Q5 great explanation/answer to this question. His grace and forgiveness covers ALL our sins when we repent and ask for forgiveness. And Jesus said, go and sin no more. Nothing compares to His love for us!
Thank you so much for your words. I've really struggled with speaking to my sister about certain things because I did the same when I was her age. She also consistently brings up things that I used to do in my past that have had an influence on her and it increases the feeling of hypocrisy in me. So thank you for the encouragement.
I wonder if the staff at WOF churches get paid sick days, or if they just get fired for having a "lack of faith" 😅🤔
Sarah Zimmerman, do not believe everything that Mike Winger says, I've had to correct him a few times.
Mike, like you, do not know the Bible when it comes to certain doctrines such as healing.
@@mikerutkowski7265 The WOF quite obviously know the Bible better than you, Sarah and Mike Winger.

Lots of nuggets for me. Love all the QA. For me the debate is not whether the Lord heals, but whatever the “on demand healing” gift of healing is in operation today. It clearly is not, but millions have been mislead by charlatans peddling this idea.

Thank you so much for answering my question. I have hugely benefited from your online ministry, Mike. Please keep up the good work.
I love that you’re a ‘cat person’! Icing on the cake!
Cat-o-lick person would be even better :-)
Best explanation of Isaiah 53:5 that I have ever heard! Thanks for this teaching!
Love that cat! And thank you so much for all you do, it has been priceless to me.
Thank God for gifted teachers
Thank you for answering these questions biblically and it has really helped. Especially the one about whether we healed completely. Love your passion for sharing the word
Thank you Mike! Isaiah 53 question so well answered!
I agree with your perspective on the first question. He confirmed this for me years ago during my personal Bible study, but I always second guessed if I heard right b/c I've heard many people claim this scripture out of context as they pray for healing over the years.
Oh, and I like your library behind you!
Mike is a cool dude. I like his Christ-Like shine.
Q: What is the purpose of healing after we get our New Bodies? I feel like that wouldn’t be important if we had a body that doesn’t get sick.
100%
Getting the glorified body is healing,..our fallen imperfect body being renewed..
Not really. When Jesus resurrected Lazarus nobody called it healing. It was a foretaste of what was to come, namely, Jesus' triumph over SPIRITUAL DEATH, which is why He said, "He who believes in me...will never die.

oh you righteous man that does not sin! you have lifted up your self hight
and please don't reply.

One more time this has been time well spent and of course Isaiah 53:5 you aced it. Thanks
I believe God HIMSELF aced it, not interpretations of it. people today lacks faith but have no issue to find reasons not to accept certain things God gives us freely
we will take healing all day over and over BY FAITH.

Yes people get healed today.
Great stuff in this.
Been trying to practice that habit of praying for someone when I sense bitterness or some such toward them.
Keep it up!
Yes the gospel is a double cure for our spiritual and physical healing
Regarding the power over sickness, the apostles had that power because Jesus directly told them "whatever you bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth shall be loosed in heaven" but He did not give all Christians that blanket command or power. We only receive that power over sickness when we TRULY feel the Holy Spirit moving in us to heal.
James 5
13 Is anyone among you suffering?
Pieter du Plessis Jesus knows the heart. Scripture also says;
Romans 8
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
I don't like to cherry pick, but I think it works here. Not saying it's out of the way to pray for pity, or mercy, but we're covered either way, brothers. Praise the Lord :)

I'm really thankful to God that I came across this channel. Blessed indeed.
Great session Mike. I particularly appreciated your explanation of Isaiah 53 as it pertains to physical healing.
Thank you for your ministry, you are awesome, Lord keep blessing you and family.
I have a hard time believing that your sexual organs can properly function whilst simultaneously engaging the same exact parts of your brain that are engaged during intercourse, and yet somehow not be thinking sexual thoughts or gratifying yourself sexually.
good to see gummy s back, great answers, what a blessing
If God is all loving, perfect love, what or who did he love before he created anything?
Perfect love exists and is expressed between the three persons of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). This is why Christianity alone, among the great monotheistic faiths, is able to affirm that love is an essential and necessary property of God's identity and character, not contingent upon the existence of any other being to function as the object of God's love :)
Mike we are not spiritually healed , we are born again , a new creature , Bodily healing is in the cross
So, are you saying that every believer should be healed? Obviously, that doesn’t happen. God does not heal everyone. We can ask and pray but ultimately it’s up to God. He is God we are not.
"I've seen commercials that have warmed my heart."
Love it!!!
Excellent questions. Ive learned to have paper and pen handy when watching these. So clearly explained thank YOU

Here's my "Pithy?" Interpretation 😎
In Genesis, via Adam, we LOST our Spiritual Life Immediately and Physical Life Later.
When born from above, we GAIN our Spiritual Life Immediately and Physical Life Later.
Thank you, Pastor Mike!
Hi Pastor Mike,
Seems you interpret "by whose stripes you were healed" applies to physical healing which I agree with, an atonement for our bodies.

Yes. It’s physical healing right now. Read the Gospels and Acts. Take it up by faith and watch it happen.

Q:
I have a question for your next question answering video!
Hey Moxie sweet haircut! Bribing Moxie to make an appearancee....well played. Thanks for your ministry.
Jesus said one who believes in him would lay hands on the sick and they would recover. Pretty simple, hard to challenge the words in red.

I Have Repented and I do follow Jesus Teachings.
I guess the question you might need to wrestle with is:
Have you have found the correct Jesus?
Are you born again As Jesus says in John 3?
Do you show evidence of one born again?
What does it means to be born again?
What does it mean to “know God and why does God reject those who claim to now Him in the day of judgement?
Important questions one should search the soul on.
What are the answer to the above questions?
Do you know for sure where you will go when you die?
NO GOONING

Q. Dear Pr. Mike, I much appreciate your teaching. Living here in Paraguay it's difficult to send questions at the right time!
Could you sometime explain the significance of the Wedding Garment in Matt. 22: 11- 13? I find it very puzzling.
Well done.
Mike, when Jesus was crying out "Father, why have you forsaken me", when dying Jesus was quoting Psalm 22:1 which is the last scripture about Jesus before he died.
Jesus didn't only say that because he was agonized. Jesus quoted Psalm 22:1.
@Lon Spector
Read Matthew 27:46
Read Psalm 22:1
Then compare those two verses.
Jesus was quoting Psalm 22:1 and by doing it Jesus fulfilled the last scripture about him.
