Hello, if you are willing to answer my question. Can i reseal the timing cover without removing the whole engine? The guy from whom i bought the car did the timing chain (1l petrol) and the timing cover is leaking a ton becuase he did a poor job sealing it. Many thanks!

Which type of oil did you refill the transmission with? I’m trying to change it in my 2016 for two automatic. Dealer states good for the life of the transmission but I know that means until the transmission breaks. Thank you.

The oil for an automatic gearbox may be different, it’s probably worth asking the dealer what specification the oil would be even if you buy it from a parts store

How did you get the control arms to line back up? Ive tried everything to no avail

I did have to use a ratchet strap on one side but the one I did wasn’t too bad

My gears won't select on some occasions, what could be the problem, I drive 2017 forfour?

Could be multiple things, like clutch, release bearing, slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder

@@greasemonkey6159 thanks for your feedback, what also happened was the clutch peddle didn't rise up, after letting it sit for a while it rose up again and it was stiff,
I hope these repairs don't cost a small fortune

You can find gearbox’s at scrap yards or online for example eBay

how did you bleed the clutch????

There is a bleed nipple on the clutch feed line near the gearbox and I got someone to pump the clutch to bleed it
