I really don't believe that not speaking English is any sort of excuse for invading another person's personal space to this extent! I don't imagine the woman in the maroon coat would offer her hand to shake one of her own country's soldiers. It's time the British Tourist Board altered their advertisments in foreign countries to include a notice that members of this country's armed forces are not photographers props, and deserve to be treated with respect. 🤬

If they are on guard and there was an emergency, then what, if the horse and guard are surrounded by morons?
Sorry, Mary, they aren’t allowed to back the horses up, the guard has to be on a level with front of the box, at least that is my understanding, but I agree with you! Happy New Year,
I have seen them back the horse up, and those idiots just go INTO THE BOX AFTER THEM! Can you believe it?! That would be the time to charge them with the horse and shout get out of the box! STOP TOUCHING THE HORSE, STOP TOUCHING THE REIGNS!!
That Guard had more patience than i have, i wouldn't put up with so much ignorance or was it arrogance, either way i would have yelled at them to get away, it's the only language they understand.
They certainly don’t care. Do they at least have a little respect and let the soldiers speak to the other soldier without rushing in and wanting to touch him and have your picture taken with the horse. I understand it’s a big thrill for foreigners to get the pictures taken someplace like all of us. but let the people do the job and give them a little space stop crowding don’t touch the reins. Don’t touch the soldiers uniform, or even the soldier one of these days that soldier, or any of the soldiers can make a turn and someone can get cut with those blades and it’s not their fault it’s the tourist fault for being so close
Anyone could have a substance in their hands to poison the horses… there should be an outright ban on all of this touching malarkey. Keep barriers up at all times. Not one person asked for permission to take a photograph or said thank you after. They’d soon sue if the horses bit someone. It’s not a tourist attraction people, they are there to protect our country… back off!!
I have come to the conclusion that folks from The Orient have no concept of personal space. I think anything the guard did would have had no effect on this lot at all. Nice catch though it is very irritating.
there were never any barricades up bar for a few hours back in August for a bicycle race, you can not block a public footpath with barricades plus blocking in horses with barricades would cause injury to the horse and rider, stupid idea.
What is the elder woman's issue? She was even told in her own language not to touch the reins. Sad. Makes me wonder if she is maybe borderline for dementia. She looked so happy, though.
Just saw a UA-cam channel, she said, in Japan, they have shutdown the Geisha area bc of tourists wanting to touch Geisha gowns. Watching these videos I believe it will be happening here very soon. Such ignorant people.
What is with the "Selfies?" It is about the Guard, the horse, the respect, the dedication to the Royal premises, not about getting a picture next to guard nor the horse. Dear Tourists, it is not about you, it is about the acknowledgement of respect. You should stand away, far away with honor.
What annoys me is the people who are obviously afraid of horse but flap their hands and act like "ooh he tried to get me'.when there is the slightest movement 😠

There is a sodding great notice warning people NOT to touch the reins. However, over the past year or two the intrusion and appalling behaviors by the public and tourists has become rude to the point of dangerous. The public need to be behind barriers.
Here's a likely dialogue between horse and rider. Horse: Hey, you know I'm Irish don't you? Trooper: Yeah, so what? Horse: Well what am I doing out here? Trooper: You are defending the King and Country. Horse: OK. but King Charles isn't Irish Trooper: That's true Horse: Well, why are you doing this to me? Tropper: Because we feed you every day, I have to brush your coat, do your nails (yeah I know you call them hooves) but they are still big toenails to me and have to tell you I love you(when I don't) and you are still a real pain in the butt and when you get even free B&B. Horse: OK, why don't I get any medals. Trooper: Because you're a ******* horse, now shut up and keep biting and wiping your nose on people will you I am not having this discussion with you every time you come out here!
Absolutely, I enjoy looking at the videos but similarly I find myself upset by tourists who disrespect the Troopers & the Horses. True, sometimes it is the fault of tourist guides who actually tell them to hold on the reins. Are tourust guides not regulated or certified to ensure they don't give bad & wrong advice to those under their care? Worst some even give their own incorrect description. So can't really blame all tourists - we were only listening to the tourist guide. No one likes being yelled at for minor infringements we don't know exist. Why can't the warning sign board include not to touch the horses' reins or to not get in the way of the Guards on duty. Sure, they have MOD police (some countries may refer to them as Military Police). Those armed police may well be Meyropolitan Police. The place is a military area and thus the Military Police has their responsibilties. But like Metropolitan Police they don't want to be said to be heavy handed abd drive away tourist. But a more strict profile and taking away (even if handcuffing if necessary) to take recalcitrant to room for a video-recorded dressing down and release is good enough. What is most disconcerting are the Karens and hooligans (local & foreign) - they have a mental issue who seem to take pleasure in disrespecting the Troopers for a spectacle. Again an escorted trip by armed guards (handcuff, if necessary) will knock some sense to them. Do it again, then call the Police in to charge them in court. Finally, I don't understand why for many years this has been going on and no one "up there" won't decide to rope barrier space for the Guards, Troopers & Horses to do their thing with dignity yet afford photo taking opportunities. This is not an animal petting zoo but a military station. The procedures are part of British history & culture and tourists (& locals) should respect.
These soldiers are not a tourist attraction, they are doing a job,and these ignorant people should not be allowed to get within touching distance of the horse or soldier.
Don’t touch the reins (two times out of three pics?!); don’t touch the guards; don’t touch the horse; don’t talk so loud; keep the hands inside you pockets; don’t travel to London = STAY HOME!😠
To be fair to the visitor who probable couldn’t read English (I must confess I don’t speak Chinese) the guide is their only point of reference, it’s not that difficult to drag the guide away and tell him, stops now or he will be dragged in chains to the tower and made to eat porridge for a week.
As a simple question from someone like myself who knows?Do you think that it's a wise thing to grab the steering wheel while someone else is driving?Or would you grab the leash of a large dog from It's handler? It's a very dangerous thing to grab the reins unless you know what you are doing besides being very disrespectful to the one in the saddle.
To me it looks as if the guards dont give a damn anymore. A good guard would have told everyone to get back. The guards are getting tired of babysitting all the idiots. This is one of several videos that show the same thing. Giving up. 😔
These people should not have to be told not to touch anything out of respect for anyone who is in a military position…! I have watched these videos and I love the guardians of their nation and king. Just a photo of these impressive soldiers and their magnificent horses should be enough rather than everyone else in the picture. My respect to these guards.💙🤍♥️

Pero parecen adolescentes algunos de ellos. 😜👽
Guard should have backed the horse up enough so they couldn't touch it!! Or charged at them with the horse, this behavior SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED BY THE TOURISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! ZERO TOLERANCE!!
@@BevWaltherI was going to say this! They just go into the box and molest the horse and guard there.
That Guard had more patience than i have, i wouldn't put up with so much ignorance or was it arrogance, either way i would have yelled at them to get away, it's the only language they understand.
Ikr!
It's the race and their culture. You will not get anything better from them.
So disrespectful
You get some cheaky people that push the guards..but thats when us army have to step in
where on earth are the US Army in this video? WHERE? SILLY REMARK.
They’re protecting a country by just there on the horses?.. how ?..😮
I have come to the conclusion that folks from The Orient have no concept of personal space. I think anything the guard did would have had no effect on this lot at all. Nice catch though it is very irritating.
I don't think they would do the same to guards in their country though. Just so disrespectful imo!
Still think since they refuse to
put up the barriers the guard should yell don't touch the horse loud.😊
Conjunctions do not translate well (don’t) this bunch however, deserved an exit off premises.
If they tried that in their own country, they would be arrested. Show some bloody respect! 🤬
It's time the top brass made sure that their serving personnel were accorded the same respect they themselves expect.
The white mark on the horse's forehead is shaped like a heart.
What happened to the barricades that were up? Leave it to government to fuck up something that works.
there were never any barricades up bar for a few hours back in August for a bicycle race, you can not block a public footpath with barricades plus blocking in horses with barricades would cause injury to the horse and rider, stupid idea.
Too bad. They could put the barricades up far enough away from the horses to not get hurt and yet keep IDIOTS away. @@georgebarnes8163
Are the Kings Guards not allowed to shout at those touching the reins anymore??
the person in the last bit of the video was touching the guards jacket instead🤣
Why didn't the guard say anything 😒. He doesn't have to yell at them ,just say, "Please don't touch me or the reins.
What is the elder woman's issue? She was even told in her own language not to touch the reins. Sad. Makes me wonder if she is maybe borderline for dementia. She looked so happy, though.
Only place in the WORLD where you can approach a military guard post and make physical contact with the guards without suffering strong consequences.
I can't stand how people kiss and slobber all over the poor horses face
They must bring barriers in .
LOL, you for real?
Gorgeous horse, you can tell he has irish draught in his blood lovely big noble head
The poor animals should not be touched.
My god its getting worse 😢
What annoys me is the people who are obviously afraid of horse but flap their hands and act like "ooh he tried to get me'.when there is the slightest movement 😠
Time for the barriers!
wise up
TOUR GUIDES YOUR NOT INFORMING THE TOURISTS WHAT THEY CAN DO….😮 MY GOD SUCH DISRESPECT TO OUR KINGS GUARDS..ABSOLUTELY APPALLING BEHAVIOUR NO RESPECT ….
I feel sorry for the horses and gaurds specially in the heat when the nearly pass out with that heavey armer there wearing..i seen a video were the army came out to give the horse water
Maybe there should be a fine for touching the horse. Then they will stop doing it. Hopefully
They are irritating the horse
These poor horse must be so overwhelmed with all these ignorant people and I would imagine that the guard gets p'd off with them as well..
Now that man at about 0.52 knows something about horses ,It,s obvious.Horse was totally different to him
than the other's
Too many people for this horse he's tired of it. ❤
There is a sodding great notice warning people NOT to touch the reins. However, over the past year or two the intrusion and appalling behaviors by the public and tourists has become rude to the point of dangerous. The public need to be behind barriers.
I long for the old days when the guards shouted at those naughty tourists.
Here's a likely dialogue between horse and rider.
Horse: Hey, you know I'm Irish don't you?
Trooper: Yeah, so what?
Horse: Well what am I doing out here?
Trooper: You are defending the King and Country.
Horse: OK. but King Charles isn't Irish
Trooper: That's true
Horse: Well, why are you doing this to me?
Tropper: Because we feed you every day, I have to brush your coat, do your nails (yeah I know you call them hooves) but they are still big toenails to me and have to tell you I love you(when I don't) and you are still a real pain in the butt and when you get even free B&B.
Horse: OK, why don't I get any medals.
Trooper: Because you're a ******* horse, now shut up and keep biting and wiping your nose on people will you I am not having this discussion with you every time you come out here!
Why on God's name don't they put a gate or a fence in front of the horse to keep people from getting so close to the horse??????
Grrrrrrrr
Wish it was Arnie
Why do they keep grabbing the reins! They've been told more than once and they still do it!
Why can't they just stand there. Why do these people have to touch
I don’t understand why the guards and so called armed police ? Do absolutely nothing ….
A tip top security services are paralyzed.
Boots coat reins horse, these people have no boundaries
Don't they have horses in China?
WHY DO THESE PEOPLE PUT THEIR HANDS NEAR THE HORSE,S MOUTHS? ANY ANIMAL WITH TEETH CAN EASILY BITE
The horses do a better job then the cops with controlling these fools.
Well that was hilarious even tried to talk to the Kings guard unbelievable
As a simple question from someone like myself who knows?Do you think that it's a wise thing to grab the steering wheel while someone else is driving?Or would you grab the leash of a large dog from It's handler? It's a very dangerous thing to grab the reins unless you know what you are doing besides being very disrespectful to the one in the saddle.
Outrageous.
They are not only touching the reins, but also his leg and boot.
Habria que multar a esos guias, y esa mujer que queria hablar con el guardia? Que invasivos y maleducados que son
My blood is boiling that poor horse and the guard
People can't read signs. As much as I love horses I would never pet the horse getting my photo taken with it. Can't fix stupid.
How many photos did that woman want? There are other people who are waiting patiently for a photo and she just keeps coming back!
What is it with these people?? They stand there (especially the women), like big goons, and laugh while the horse bites them, or gives them a handful of saliva. Just hysterical.
Looks like the guard is too far outside of the box. No excuse for all of the touching but it might help if they weren't so accessible!
