Thanks for following mate, I've got fair few mods left to do. Ill be installing a mustang wide tripper seat, 21 inch front wheel and fork covers to replace the gaiters 👍 All pretty costly mods
One of a kind! Pls do more views of the bike when the work is done. Would like to see the whole bike more often with every new part :-) keep up the good work! Regards from germany mate!
The simplest solution for your headlamp would have been to simply swap the mount. Paint it black to match your look but you would have saved significant amounts of time.
I rang the supplier and he said a mount/headlight block to suit the stock bolt is not available. Only way to fit the mount is to modify the triple tree. The stock mount is far wider than the aftermarket one at the mounting point and is unable to be swapped to fit the new headlight. Trust me, I already though this over before drilling into my Harley.
I did exactly what you did bro and my engine light is now on and the sound when I turn on the ignition switch starts up again when the bike is going, any ideas?
Id suggest trying to clear the engine code. Sometimes if a wire shorts it will trip an engine fault. Once the code is cleared hopefully the error code will go away. Otherwise if it doesn't clear if say you have a wire shorting out
I never got around to messaging DK customs. I've Lost interest in running a catch can and I'm now running the blow by oil to a pod filter at the end of the hose.
I've taken it off as the paint job was pretty ordinary having white overspray in it, I took it back to them and they resprayed it again which was still no good. Ive decided I'm just going to respray it myself 👍
Brother what’s the headlight like now you have run it ? I am looking at buying one for my new fxbb but don’t want to swap out my Oem for a worse light just for looks
hey mate how do u find the height of the headlight beam? i just installed same on my breakout and feel the beam level is too high but if i angle the surround down much more it will look like it's pointing at the front wheel 🤣🤣
Man I didnt have any issues. I'm not sure if the breakouts forks and rake sit you're light on a different angle to the street bob. I'd suggest look at doing something with your headlight mounting block, whether it needs to be shaved down a bit or a shorter one purchased.
CHECK LINK IN THE DESCRIPTION TO SEE WHERE I PURCHASED THE PARTS FROM.
That light is a beaut mate.
Your doing a amazing job on your bike my brother
All the best from NZ
Thanks Dave, little by little its coming together 👍
@@TheGingybeardMan It all takes time bro but it is sure worth it.
Ride free bro

Good to see the safety glasses getting used when drilling bro 😂😂
Seeing is over rated, eye protection is for rich people

Couldn't you just have put a heli coil in the threads to use the bolt you had?
@@mattlinderkamp9489 the size difference is too large for a helicoil to work
Can you just flip the stock headlight bracket around backwards?
No mate it wouldn't work
Got a question you might be able to answer. Forwards v Mids - Will the max lean angle change if you put on the forwards controls?
Very nice! Curious of how the 5gallon tank is working out?
Its Going great, only thing that isn't perfect is the milage on the guage doesn't reflect the correct range

The headlight looks awesome!!! Did the fuel meter adjust to the bigger fuel tank?
Thanks mate, unfortunately the fuel meter did not re-adjust
Love the shift linkage.
Did you end up having any luck with DK Customs regarding the catch can? Did you find a fix for it?
I never got around to messaging DK customs. I've Lost interest in running a catch can and I'm now running the blow by oil to a pod filter at the end of the hose.
What happened to the rear fender u did ?
Starting to look more and more like a victory bike
The paint job was very poor, I've taken it off to re-spray myself.
@@TheGingybeardMan
Nice
I really like the look of the rear fender goes well with the rest of the mods u done
Looking more and more like a victory bike
@@ceec6923 thanks mate, hopefully will have the stretched rear fender back on within the next month or so 👍
@@TheGingybeardMan loving the build
Every style you went with this bike I love it
Is that a Sadie man renegade solo seat?
Just the stock seat mate, I plan on getting a mustang wide tripper seat in the future as this is no good on long rides
What happen to you large rear finder
I've taken it off as the paint job was pretty ordinary having white overspray in it, I took it back to them and they resprayed it again which was still no good. Ive decided I'm just going to respray it myself 👍
Wouldn't it have been easier to just swap the light block?
If they were the same dimensions yes, but they are completely different. The stock block is 30mm wider at the top where it mounts on the light
gotcha
Brother what’s the headlight like now you have run it ? I am looking at buying one for my new fxbb but don’t want to swap out my Oem for a worse light just for looks
Its definitely no better than the stock one man its actually not as bright. Its only a cosmetic upgrade mate
What viser is that on your stock light?
Just a cheap Chinese 5 3/4 headlight visor off ebay. There's loads if you just search that on ebay 👍

Mate do you know if you can get a centre console for the FXBB?
Not for the stock tank but if you get another model tank you can have the center console but will need to get the ECU flashed to work.
What socket did you use to take that wheel off
19mm hex socket mate
