Keeping its original look and vibe would inspire a player a lot more than a full restoration, it's like a direct connection to its past and history, and the fact it survived so long and still could be played and sound decent is awesome
Man there are no words for that tone. And that's the one barn find that you don't restore but rather do the bare minimum to get it in playing shape, just as you did. Now you have something most of wish we had. That thing is heavenly.
Sounds like its been sitting in some smoky bar on a gravel road out in the bayou for about 70 years. The way you played it makes me think it has stories to tell of things it's see and heard.
Sounds like Duane Allman’s free spirit is living in this piece of wood. Lucky you. BTW, the look on your face when you hit those notes, seems that you are very deserving of owning it. Rock on brother!
Yup old juniors, equal fabulous sound, a real good buddy was just gifted by his father his old, 1957 Les Paul Junior. They are truly one of the greatest guitars ever. The beautiful warm tone that can be achieved with just a simple twist of the volume knob.
Every once in a while, you hear certain guitars that have that unexplainable sound that runs up your spine and gives you chills. This guitar made me do that
You are a fortunate man. Kind of makes me want to bury my epiphone 57 reissue Junior in the yard for a couple years. Love the P90 I have an Amalfitano in mine. Enjoy!!
I dont play guitat, but this is SUPER BAD ASS. I can appreciate the history behind Les Pauls stuff. Thank u for saving this from the dump. ❤❤❤ Thats history
What a barnfind. Omg such a sweet tone. That guitar has been waiting for someone to come along and give it some tlc and bring its soul back down from heaven. Stands the test of time. What a sound. I keep listening to the sound just priceless. That guitar has life. No pick needed.
Everytime i hear this guitar, it's the most magical sounding guitar i've ever heard. It sings, the sustain is the best, i love this guitar to death. My life is now complete hearing this. If you knew my musical background, i don't say these words lightly i can tell you
Sweet, sweet, bottomless soul. That guitar has such a history and so many more stories to tell. It looks fantastic as it is. Maybe a fret replacement, if necessary, but it should be heard frequently just as it is!
When I commented on your video when you had found it, and were getting ready to restore it I didn't know you had completed it. You did a fabulous job doing it, and I'm impressed & pleased you stayed with the survivor condition you found it in. WELL DONE 🙏❤️
Bravo man. BRAVO 👏. That was exactly what it needed. I’m so happy you left it pretty much as is and only fixed what was necessary. My dad has a Gibson acoustic he bought new when he was 19. He is now 78. Still my favorite guitar he has (he has over 50). Even has the original case with the bumper sticker on it from the lucky strikes he used to smoke lol.
Now THAT sound is what i liked about early LPs. The harmonic undertones are just magical. Excellent restoration of a Holy Grail instrument. Well done, Sir!!
What a great, warm sound! Sounds amazing. If it currently plays & feels good with the repairs you’ve done, don’t change anything else about it. A lot of people would have already removed that last little bit of yellow finish in order to have a new paint job applied to it. I think it should keep it’s totally worn appearance to show what it’s been through. It’s beautiful & I wish it was mine! What a lucky find… for both you & the guitar.
I don't know anything about guitars or even music ...but that old guitar sounds amazingly beautiful....play something very patriotic that we can easily recognize
OMG! The way you ended that lick!!!! HOLY SHIT!!! It punched my soul. PLEASE PLEASE share a tuning and tab for that segment with me PLEASE. In the meantime I'm going to obsess over this until you do. JESUS.
Sounds happy to be restored!!❤❤ Leave as is, it's original😂😂😂
It sounds like the soul of some major player lives inside that guitar. Absolutely incredible sound.
It definitely has a soul beating within.
caused my eyes to water a bit ❤
@@savage22bolt32 Many guitarists can make sounds...
Few can organize the sounds to be congruent to a living organism.
Took me down some rough road looking for that honkytonk shack. 😉🏴💚
Made me think of BB King.
That note morphing into a harmonic was bone chilling! That guitar could tell some stories!
I have only heard that unique sound on very desirable vintage shit. Like old Sg and Paul Jr.s . Thanks for the description.
That thing is a piece of art !
Im glad you only repaired what was needed and left it in its natural state .
That rescue guitar is crying tears of joy
Keeping its original look and vibe would inspire a player a lot more than a full restoration, it's like a direct connection to its past and history, and the fact it survived so long and still could be played and sound decent is awesome
Bollocks it look like. Dog shit he should have restored it properly
i'll play drums
Thank you so much dude
You Rock 👍@@georgemoreno2770
That sounds magical. Could imagine hearing it on a modern day album for sure
What a beautiful voice so smooth. Just perfect sound. I was born in 54 I would be so proud to own one from 54.
The discovery of this guitar was just meant to be.
Right place.
Right time.
The stars aligned.
From hearing you play,...I can honestly say that I am glad that you found it*
For the love of God.....Name it "BARNIE '.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful. Authentic. Historic. Well done, young man.
And that's how ya ' pay respect to a war hero -- soooo cool bruh !!! Live it - Love it !!!
That sounds like all the people that have owned and loved that guitar in the past were right there with you..... Such a soulful sound..
Man there are no words for that tone. And that's the one barn find that you don't restore but rather do the bare minimum to get it in playing shape, just as you did. Now you have something most of wish we had. That thing is heavenly.
Holy Barnstorm!! Gold.
I absolutely agree. It looks good and sounds awesome.
Sounds like its been sitting in some smoky bar on a gravel road out in the bayou for about 70 years. The way you played it makes me think it has stories to tell of things it's see and heard.
That original paf with that 54 old body sounds AWSOME!
Someone probably a blues' player is smiling right now after hearing the sound of that guitar 🎸 sounds great
The blues sounds great with that are, but that thing should be ROCKIN'!
Holy crap, you made it cry and sing like it was just born! Sweet sweet baby Les!
GOOSEBUMPS!!!! That squeel ❤ she's a SINGER!!!
Sounds bloody gorgeous.
Please keep it looking the way it is now.
Once again, it has a voice. And, it seems like it will say so in a very, very beautiful way. You are the next median to express its voice.
Sounds like Duane Allman’s free spirit is living in this piece of wood. Lucky you. BTW, the look on your face when you hit those notes, seems that you are very deserving of owning it. Rock on brother!
All I can say is...WOW! Jaw dropping tone!
I could listen to this guitar all day
Bet you my 6 year old playing it would make you say otherwise mate.
Gotta be one of the best sounding guitars I’ve ever heard.
From 55 year Music Veteran...That sounds Awesome! ...OMG what a sweet sound!
Yup old juniors, equal fabulous sound, a real good buddy was just gifted by his father his old, 1957 Les Paul Junior. They are truly one of the greatest guitars ever. The beautiful warm tone that can be achieved with just a simple twist of the volume knob.
Love that sweet harmonic feedback!
Warm and friendly sound. I loved that note that sang out
That guitar sounds absolutely amazing!
Every once in a while, you hear certain guitars that have that unexplainable sound that runs up your spine and gives you chills. This guitar made me do that
Sounds like you stepped back in time to when it was brand new on the show room floor. Awesome.
Only took 70 years, but this guitar finally found it's home.
That is the best guitar I have ever seen/heard
The musicality of a P90 is unmatched. So fluid and harmonious
Oh mate, that sounds beautiful.
Totally love the finish.
Completely irreplaceable.
The best find and what you have done is great.
Im so happy to see you didnt overly restore that beautiful old guitar. 👍
Sounds amazing
Nothing like those old P-90’s start to sustain.
That sweet spot of feedback when the pickup’s inner soul comes calling never gets old.
That's a player right there, that guitar has got some soul.
You are a fortunate man. Kind of makes me want to bury my epiphone 57 reissue Junior in the yard for a couple years. Love the P90 I have an Amalfitano in mine. Enjoy!!
Sitting on a gold mine. Wow what a nice find❤
The right guitar in the right hands! It sounds fantastic!
I dont play guitat, but this is SUPER BAD ASS. I can appreciate the history behind Les Pauls stuff. Thank u for saving this from the dump. ❤❤❤ Thats history

Man that guitar and a Marshall superlead full stack would just be heaven
Sounds incredible. Thanks for saving it!!
Beautiful, thanks for the love.
Sounded really good. The combo of those old parts and dust and debris inside them really was perfect
Hell Yeah! That baby has the MOJO!!! Love the style playing too.
To simply say that it sounds amazing is an understatement! Wow!! 🎸👊🔥👏😊
You did incredible work on it! No guitar left behind! 👏👏😊😊
Dripping with patina, love it! Sounds awesome!!
That sounds incredible, the joy of being given a new life.
The feedback on that sustain. Blown away
Absolutely fantastic, and definitely in the right loving hands ❤
It sounds absolutely phenomenal
That sound is just magical, you can't beat those old p90s
It sounds like a dream dude. Nasty tone. Thanks for saving a piece of history!
Fantastic! I truly enjoyed this rescue story!!
Wow. Absolutely killer sound.
sounds amazing
Sounds so warm, thick …like layers of tones are hidden and waiting to be revealed ❤
Holy jeepers, that's heavenly.
Don't change anything else . It looks amazing. You can't beat that original patina .
Glad you didn’t try to refinish it! Turned out great
Everytime i hear this guitar, it's the most magical sounding guitar i've ever heard. It sings, the sustain is the best, i love this guitar to death. My life is now complete hearing this. If you knew my musical background, i don't say these words lightly i can tell you
Sounds incredible, glad its stil in contact with the spirit world
I'm a strat man but, I've gotta say, that's pretty amazing right there.
Sounds good but I think the amps doing most of the work. What's it going through?
He’s normally playing a vintage super reverb so that would be my guess
👍
Beautiful restoration!
Very wise to do only what you did.
Do not sell that to Joe B
He's usually into clean or single owner guitars.
Sweet, sweet, bottomless soul. That guitar has such a history and so many more stories to tell. It looks fantastic as it is. Maybe a fret replacement, if necessary, but it should be heard frequently just as it is!
It sounds fabulous in the hands of a man who can play.
Sweet Honey Gold. Glad you turned up the pot a few times to get a feel of the changing voices!
You're done. Don't touch anything else. That thing is magic.
Sounds like old gold! Lovely. Inspirational.

The response of the pickup at different volume control is amazing. The sustain to feedback is where my happy place lives.
You gave me chills! That unbelievable❤❤❤
I don't know anything about guitars or even music ...but that old guitar sounds amazingly beautiful....play something very patriotic that we can easily recognize
