That’s slick! I’m in Canada and catching an invasive crayfish that’s only been in our rivers and creeks for 5 or 6 years. We’re required to kill them within the limits of the shore. They’re smaller, 2-3” but pond fish here taste like swamp. The beef is great and garlic grows wild so crayfish is the perfect addition. Great video!
This is frickin awesome I personally can't wait till you show how to bait them. Thank you for this awesome tutorial on how to do a "professional" crawdad trap. Hugs from Texas💜
Dose it half to be laid up against a tree? Or can u lay it flat on the bottom? Seems to me that they should be able to get to it laying flat on the bottom. An if I’m gonna be laying them flat then would I be better off to have a flu on three corners and a spot to open an close an dump them on the last corner? I feel like it would up my odds.
Well put together video. Thank you for taking the time to educate us on how to make them. Where do you purchase the wire from? And can i make my traps 4 foot?
Just remember Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries crawfish traps requirement has to be 3/4 by 11/16 square, or larger, a three-quarter inch hexagon chicken wire or larger, With a $15 trapping License up for 35 traps Max, Telling the agent you didn't know that will not get you out of a $250 fine
Best video for crawfish traps by far
