You can't go wrong with shrimp and Pasta! I am willing to bet your crew loves you! I use to shrimp the St. John's by Palatka about 20 years ago, we would come back with 100 pounds between our group, my co workers were happy too!
We have a local sandwich shop here called the Patio that has great sandwiches , but their prize is the shrimp chowder which is more like a bisque . Almost as good as Maryland She Crab soup .
I’ve been shrimping at night with lights, and I’ve seen you bait the shrimp on a dock. Throwing the net during the morning was unique as well. Thanks for sharing, cover your head and skin man, you are out there a lot.

When you said you were winging it, you didn’t know how it was gonna taste, I have done that bunches of times. If it comes out good, and I’m sure it did, you call it something like Tug Trash’s shrimp and pasta. If it’s not so good you can name it BlueGabes shrimp and stuff!
hahaha man, when that gar came back after you guys tried to release it it was a sign that you were supposed to eat it, and that nice solid fish clap was your punishment for calling it stinky and not eating it
Nothing like getting "b****" slapped in the face by a long nosed gar! 😂. Yeah, you do need to do a gar cook and clean. Tough to clean (actually skin) but if you like mullet you'd probably like gar! But if you don't like mullet you won't like gar. At heart in my opinion. I like it and have done several. Been wondering what gar stew or mull depending on where you're from, or smoked gar would taste like. Thanks for the video! I enjoyed it as usual!

I’ve made a similar recipe with both shrimp and smoked sausage and Cajun seasoning in the cream sauce.
