great dealership, im from ohio and got a 6mcr mecalac from trenchers plus last year. We use it for downspouts and sewer installs mostly, have used a skid steers brush grapple, harley rake, and rock hound with it as well on different projects. The only issues i have come across is that it weighs more than your average skid steer so slightly more yard damage (imprints from the tracks) and the skid steer attachments get offset slightly since they are centered on the boom and not the house. thanks for showing this machine off at the equipment show a few years back thats what got us interested in them in the first place
Noted thanks for sharing your experiences with it. I wasn't considering getting one myself but I'm sure it'll help out others who are thinking about it. Sounds like it works pretty decent for ya
I’ve had the 8MCR for 18 months now. I have about 100 hrs on it. My first ex/skid. Sold my Cat 420D backhoe to get it. It’s for personal use on 2.5 acre home in Southern California. Hilly yard with 20’ elevation drop. I take pallets of pavers down 21% slope. A little scary even with blade down. My uneven yard makes for a bouncy ride. The wheeled version might be a better choice for my yard, but it’s a bit higher and does not get into tight areas as well. I can use the offset to a small degree to compensate for off-camber work. It’s super nice to extend pallets or buckets where the Cat backhoe could not be maneuvered. A bit of a gas guzzler compared to my Deere 210LE skip loader and New Holland 1630 Boomer. The skid steer bucket is 900 pounds empty. Loaded, forget about fully extending to the side unless you want to tip it. Front with blade down is at limit when heaped with heavy dirt. Keep load low and close for comfort and less strain on turret. Being able to ex and shovel by reversing buckets is very useful when working near retaining walls. I use the skidsteer adapter plate to run lighter buckets from my New Holland and a hydraulic auger. I was going to get the tilt-rotator attachment but paused on the $30,000 cost of the frill. Wish I had as cost has gone up. I think a good skidsteer operator can outperform the 8MCR in most scenarios, but some situations the MCR is a better choice. I appreciate its tele-handler function the most in my yard. It’s a very well made and designed machine. I saw it at the Las Vegas ConAg Expo in 2017 and 2020. Great demo. I decided my Cat was too big for my yard, sold it and got the Mecalac. Good choice for my use. Beat the multipurpose JCB offerings. Lifting 3200 pound pallets was key for me. That ruled out the smaller 6MCR. I’d get the counterweight as a hedge for side loads.
I don't know if you were doing fire prevention mowing but that's what I'm doing over here California but I with you heat bugs birds and not trying to kill everything in the field give the the lizards a chance to eat the bugs the birds to eat the lizards and the heated eat us all up alive
I looked into the prices of these and just can’t justify the cost. One thing I did realize is many residential jobs I have run into, have overhead lines coming to the house, when using this as a skid steer to transport material the height of this machine becomes a hazard as opposed to a lower sitting skid steer.
The 6MCR collapses down to 109 inches or just over 9 feet. The largest Bobcat CTL is just over 7 feet. If this one spec is your deciding factor, it will be limited, but these machines are not aimed at doing everything, but to be a more versatile tool. They are good for a single operator who only wants to haul, insure and operate 1 machine as opposed to 2 or 3.
Thanks Stan for asking the hard questions. I think I like it better than the JCB Teleskid. Not so crazy about that back sprocket, as the teeth might come in contact with the pavement and wear out over time, whereas most skid loaders the sprocket is at the highest point. Track changing /remount will be easier on this machine. It's not quite a zero-tail-swing machine, but looks good. Not too crazy about some of those exposed hydraulic lines because if you are going to push trees over with it, they could be snagged by falling branches or demolition type work of taking down a barn. Some of those lines between the boom joints look like they could be pinched, stressed. What is the hydraulic flow rating of this machine, can it run a big mower/mulcher? It's not going to be able to get under trees with the cab, but the boom gives you a pretty good reach under trees too, but it's going to contact multi-trunk trees. Are those tracks skid steer steel impregnated tracks or the weaker excavator tracks? The added lifting height and capacity is great to load high trucks and be able to pack down compost/dirt into a truck and help level it down. The tilt boom would be good for taper cutting a ditch. A new skid steer and excacator would be around $160k before taxes and dealer junk fees, so what does this all-in-one unit retail for?
These are used all over Europe for the last 10 years or so. The design criteria for Europe is different than the USA as generally smaller spaces / jobs so a small contractor needs to pack a lot of bang for the buck in one machine if possible. Also access for transport and storage of 3-4 machines on site is an issue too as even the smallest of jobs could do with an excavator, skid steer and loader come crane. Most European venues do not have lowboys nor the access for a lot of equipment so this type of machine make sense. Downside is any mechanical / hydraulic issues the job is shut down there is no other machinery around to get you out of a bind but that said you are only maintaining 1 machine also!
Way to go Stan at least you got nate to push it as far as he was comfortable most salesman wouldn't do that. Thanks for taking me along and as soon as I get rich and shamless I'll buy one or even win the lottery. God bless and as always be safe 👍
I'm surprised it doesn't come with side stabilizing feet like I've seen on Yanmar tractors. That would go a long way to letting that arm extend out more with weight, by lowering the center of gravity.
This is awesome, so glad you did this video, was gonna include asking you to in other comment but forgot, brother you do a fantastic job explaining everything, awesome 👌
That's a truly unique and interesting machine. So if a contractor has a need for both a skid loader and excavator, they can purchase this one machine and have essentially both, as opposed to purchasing two machines....having to maintain two machines...having to transport two machines to the jobsite and back...substantial cost savings right there. Very cool. I dig videos like this Stan. More please as time and scheduling permit!

a self leveling function while using the pallet forks, would be an amazing feature for both safety and efficiency... i wonder how that could be done, or if some one has already figured it out.
That kind of functionality does exist on many other machines. It is really just a question of licencing code and adjusting for the capacity of that machine.
Personally I was thinking how nice it would be to have the 4 way hydraulic joint at the bucket mount like on some of the euro peon only models I`m sure it would cut down on the heavy duty portion of excavating but is a usefull feature in my figuring. But a typical skid of block often go 3600-4000 lb. another con I see is it has a lot more hydraulic hoses than a typical track hoe for those that use em for what they are worth will be crying adbout blowing hoses on occasion. would`nt mind having one to play with in Ohio.
Very interesting videos. Still not sure about the machine. But I'm thinking about getting somemore information on it. Thank you Stan, you've got me thinking.
Hi Stan. Do you happen to remember what the sound level was like next to the machine. Stats say 99dB, which is loud, but it doesn't sound that loud from the video. Do you remember if it was exceptionally loud, or average loud, or reasonably quiet?
@@Dirtmonkey We've got all sorts of stuff going. We've done a lot of hand built adobe structures, we have quite a few food bearing micro gardens, hand built the potable water reservoir for our well and currently an experimental evaporative cooling tower is in the works. Passive solar hot water all over the property and currently working toward becoming independent of the power grid with our own solar electric. That's going to take some time, but we're hoping to have our well completely grid independent in the next year as well as the swamp coolers for several structures. Hi Stan thank you for the excellent video as always it would be great to see you do a follow up video to answer some of the questions about self levelling and high flow hydraulics also can you put a grapple on it? Another thing that would be great is to see you buy or lease one for a while to see how you and your operators like it and how it goes in real world applications Would you buy one of these machines yourself? And lastly I would love to see a video on the Mecalac loader.
I wouldn't buy one just because I already have machines that do exactly what this does, this just does it all in one. I could see how beneficial it would be for someone starting out that just wants to get one machine for multiple different uses though
As a fork lift set up also have the advantage of a rough terrain forklift with extention of boom reaching in or over obstacles better than just fork lift
Wow, I wish that had been around 5 years ago when I bought my excavator. It sure would be nice to have the loader and forks. Yep, nice to have two vehicles, but nice to have one that does a lot of things. I'd take it over ONE machine.
I don't think you really demonstrated some of the things that sets the Mecalac apart. For instance, this machine when operated as a mini excavator, has a digging depth of 12' ... Not that you would want to try to go to that depth with the skid loader bucket attached, but think about how this machine could be used in skid-loader mode to grade an embankment without having to move the machine. And that's just one way this machine is capable of working outside the box. Just one question: How much?
SO just wondering if after a year, have you decided to buy one of the Mycatalac's yet cause this thing seems pretty sweet and just thinking of dropping a snowblower or forestry head on it me thinks would be really useful. Like for pushing back a massive snow pile or relocating a massive pile and condensing it or trimming branches over head with the forestry head and dozens of other things slash idea's lol.
Still not sure what makes this so unique? It seems to have two selling points based on that claim. 1/ the bucket can be backed up by the 'dozer blade, but other machines have that so there's something special about it? 2/ there is mantion of the controls being able to be switched but, to me, it just looks like it's going to be more confusing for the operator as the boom, dipper, etc, will operate differently to the same inputs - like getting the hang of the pedals depending on the track orientation, only more so. This may be down to my using excavators almost exclusively, heck I can't recall the last time I used a skid-steer. Oh, I thought I recalled seeing something like the loader before - you looked at the Mecalac product line at a show a couple years ago, according to the suggested viewing link 👍 For those that missed it - ua-cam.com/video/XwSwMJrrJbE/v-deo.html
What I like is the scenario where you already have EITHER a mini-x OR a track loader. If you get one of these now you have 2 mini-x’s AND one loader OR 2 track loaders and a mini-x.
This thing could pick up a mini-x and toss it across the yard. This is way more functional that what people seem to think here. The sales guy was slow and clumsy, (no disrespect), so hard to tell how productive it would be. My guess is 2 of these units, with two experienced operators, would beat 4 separate units (2 skids and 2 Ex) in a production comparison, especially when you consider maintenance, cost, and transportation. This thing is an actual excavator with pretty crazy power for its size.
Noticed that it would help if the machine had a self-leveling ability, would make it safer lifting weight up higher or further out, not bad for a salesman - operator.
Very versatile piece of equipment. A proficient operator can circles around multiple operators using numerous pieces of equipment at the same time. One has to wonder how many millions of dollars it costs to acquire it and all the accessories.
Hot dang that a creative arm. I keep thinking back to that massive 11’ retaining wall y’all built last year. I’m wondering is there any way this machine would’ve sped things up or just plain made the job easier or safer for the monkeys. Great Innovative Machine
Hey Stan. I got a new summer job working for my city. I’ll be spending 8 hours a day doing lawn mowing and tractor driving which is going to be awesome. In other news I’m going to a flea market with Izzy on her birthday which is Saturday. She invited me which is great. Then after words I’ll go up to my cabin to run the kubota 10 hours a day to work on the road. I’m super excited. I have no idea what I should get Izzy for her birthday since we are dating now. Any ideas?
"I have no idea what I should get Izzy for her birthday since we are dating now. Any ideas?" yes- it doesn't have to be expensive but should be well thought out. Every gift should have a meaning somehow and you then explain the meaning to her. if she enjoys a certain kind of gum- get her that. If she enjoys a movie or show get her a souvenir from her favorite flick. Lots of little things that don't cost much but have tons of meaning to her will go a lot further than an expensive gift. thats my opinion at least
My only problem us i would still want my track skid loader. You can still only do one job at a time. Most jobs are multi faceted. Bad ass machines, I want one.
Neat piece of equipment. The price’s I’m seeing are 135-140k, not sure if that is accurate or not. That said, if it is around there, my SVL75 and KX040 were roughly 20k less new together. That’s two loaded machine’s. Full cabs, ac, high flow, 6-1, etc. I’d rather the two machine’s. As neat as it is, it simply wouldn’t put out the work two machine’s like I have working in tandem. Would probably be close even with a single operator switching out of machine’s. Nice piece of equipment though.
@@DMAX-tp4pc I loved my T190. Machine was flawless for many many years. I’m older(lol) and was very good with the foot controls(had pilot to), took me a while to get use to the Kubota.
This is where balls and an understanding of physics are important, any good skilled operator would be totally confident that they could just hover the load 2 or 3 inches from the ground and extend until it's touching and the weight is transferring forward, tipping the rear or side up slightly when trying to lift. It can be safely tested to the limits. Looks like it handled it really well though for the size of the unit, I'd like to stick a 12" bucket on it and see how well it rips ground!
A few questions: 1) What does it cost? 2) What is the name of the dealership? 3) Can you float the bucket like a a loader? I love the idea of this machine for retaining wall builds but would be nice to have a swivel grapple or at least a thumb.
6MCR w/ thumb is 129K new. Got mine last year and absolutely love it. I'm now feeling comfortable after 32 hours of use and I'm 100% new to heavy equipment.
It's a sweet machine, found some used ones under 80k for a 2012, but for 160k or more on the newer side, you could easily get a skid steer and mini excavator for the same money. Also seems like it would be slow for grading and other typical skid steer tasks, but a really cool idea. Impressive how easily it could swing around 5000 pounds
@@mekosmowski that's true, it would be great for a quick project, but I think you're still winning with two machines even after the extra time and diesel...especially at $200k. Plus you can bill more for having two machines on site lol
Only thing I dont like is it's not zero swing and you can tell by the scratches on the machine, it's good to have a narrow track frame but what's the point if you cant slew in a tight area?
I'd rather have a skid loader and excavator, but honestly, this is insanely useful. I just feel like I couldn't do grading work nearly as fast as I could with a skid loader
@@Dirtmonkey its like a Swiss Army knife, not amazing at everything but good enough at it to get by... Especially for someone just starting out who can't afford 2 pieces of equipment, I think it would be great to do trenching for plumbing and electrical inside structures like schools and warehouses, I definitely could have used something like this for a couple jobs where a mini fit but we needed to backfill and couldn't use a skid steer and it was against a wall so we couldn't use the mini either
What you plan to do with any piece of machinery will tell you what’s better and what’s not. Impressive to see it lift a double stack of standards and remain completely composed(ideal surface conditions)
man they would have to do something with the rats nest of hoses on top of the boom for me to consider buying one. I see it as an excavator with options...not a skid loader at all. More testing on the job would be needed, I have been clamping the skid buckets in the minis and using them to carry material for decades not sure this is a game changer.
Thank you for part 2. Nate did well for sales guy, would have liked to see someone who has “big” hours on it run the thing. Agree with numerous comments, the Swiss Army Knife descriptor fits. Just seems a bit wonky. As to grading, digging and loading. 2 machines with experienced operators would run rings around this, ALSO with 2 dedicated machines working the job site -vs- 1 of these, you only can do one job at a time, mmmmm. Cool equipment though, if Dirty Monkey had a give-a-way contest I would sign up 😎 ***Monty is very seldom in the office; BECAUSE he is out fighting the Empire !
I will like to know whats the breaking force and move the bucket full of dirt or stone up and down with out shaking the machine or trying to tip to the front
I can see how in the right circumstances it would be handy. Like loading out of piles into vehicles, like mulch, gravel, or even dirt. On a jobsite trying to do production not the best of either type of machines.
For those that don't know, Mecalac has been in business for many, many years. There are plenty of videos on UA-cam about them. I realise that the 2 guys operating are salesmen, but their are functions on these machines that they obviously dont know about. I now that when lifting, that there is a function that keeps the forks or bucket level, or can be used for bank sloping etc. The geometry of that boom makes them exceptional for lifting. For those that are asking, yes you can fit a grapple or any ter attachment to it, just like a 'normal' excavator, & they can be fitted with laser control for leveling site works. There is even a video of the Mecalac 15 tonne wheeled machine lifting & carrying, traveling, & placing a big concrete water/sewerage tank, from a trailer on the street, into the back yard of a house. These machines are incredibly versatile. Watch this 8MCR on demo at a European show, with a good operator in it. I'd buy one tomorrow if i had the use for it, which I did a few years ago, but life circumstances changed. The other excavator worth looking at is the 'Menzi Muck' !
Wonder if they have an option for a hydraulic thumb or would it require a graptor style bucket? Looks like there could be some clearance issues with a thumb
I have the 6MCR...having a newly designed thumb installed right now. The thumb it came with did not match the bucket teeth when extended making it more difficult to pick up fine brush and such. The new thumb is hinged at a different point. Love this extremely versatile machine. There is a bit of a learning curve to maximize the efficiency it offers!
This would be an incredilbe machine for smaller companies, this is a do everything piece of equipment. Maybe doesn't make sense if you already have a bunch of other machinery, that will be better in its specific niche. But just having a single machine to service and insure and move, that can do most anything would be a real boon to smaller companies.
Well Stan is this going to be your next purchase? I can see it being any extremely handy machine plus with fuel costs if you have a jobsite far away you can get away with only hauling one machine. I bet the price of this is the same as buying a normal mini excavator and track loader?
I wont be buying one but could totally see how helpful / useful this machine could be, especially for those just starting out and only wanting to buy one machine. This one goes for about 140k
@@Dirtmonkey That is true, i think that thing would really shine building retaining walls and back filling in hard to get areas. I have older bobcats, a bobcat 337 excavator its small enough to haul under cdl but big enough for building natural stone and boulder retaining walls. Then a bobcat 76 mini, not many of those around its like a 2 ton size, that can get in small areas
Stan, I think Blaine will have lots of fun running that piece of equipment when you get it for him to run and add it to your stable. I wonder if it has a heater and what do you think about it for snow removal?
@@Dirtmonkey Not sure about in the states but here in Canada a new 8 ton cost about 140k. Seems cheap really. did they mention if you can run it in excavator mode with the loader arm down for extra reach?

as a rough terain fork lift its probably one of the best I have seen.
Wow, I wish that had been around 5 years ago when I bought my excavator. It sure would be nice to have the loader and forks. Yep, nice to have two vehicles, but nice to have one that does a lot of things. I'd take it over ONE machine.
My thoughts too, wish this came out a while back before I got what I already have
It was around 5 years ago. Nobody knew about it. The machine has been in Europe for 15 years or so
@@Dirtmonkey so you bought a new one already?
No dealer anywhere in my neck of the woods. Been wanting to try one of these out. Maybe some day
🙏👍
The salesman treated it like a red headed skid steer the whole time. Show it's capabilities as an excavator too.
Good point, it sounds like the salesman doesn't even know all of what this machine can do!
It's priced at around 140k
This a really cool piece of equipment
Its an interesting combo to say the least
SO just wondering if after a year, have you decided to buy one of the Mycatalac's yet cause this thing seems pretty sweet and just thinking of dropping a snowblower or forestry head on it me thinks would be really useful. Like for pushing back a massive snow pile or relocating a massive pile and condensing it or trimming branches over head with the forestry head and dozens of other things slash idea's lol.
That's one versatile machine, and it is capable of loading a semi end dump too. But can it plow snow??
Good question. I'm assuming it can given the universal attachment style
Oh, I thought I recalled seeing something like the loader before - you looked at the Mecalac product line at a show a couple years ago, according to the suggested viewing link 👍
For those that missed it - ua-cam.com/video/XwSwMJrrJbE/v-deo.html
What I like is the scenario where you already have EITHER a mini-x OR a track loader. If you get one of these now you have 2 mini-x’s AND one loader OR 2 track loaders and a mini-x.
Yup pretty neat 👍
This thing could pick up a mini-x and toss it across the yard. This is way more functional that what people seem to think here. The sales guy was slow and clumsy, (no disrespect), so hard to tell how productive it would be. My guess is 2 of these units, with two experienced operators, would beat 4 separate units (2 skids and 2 Ex) in a production comparison, especially when you consider maintenance, cost, and transportation. This thing is an actual excavator with pretty crazy power for its size.
This machine is great for not having to constantly turn like a skid steer.
Cool video, Loved watching.
Thanks man appreciate you 👊
Love the look of this piece of equipment
Noticed that it would help if the machine had a self-leveling ability, would make it safer lifting weight up higher or further out, not bad for a salesman - operator.
Yeah that seems necessary too
Thank you to share this video. What attachments does this machine have?I am going to go to the dealership to look how good is it.
Almost wish i wasn't retired.I'd love to be operating this
Very versatile piece of equipment. A proficient operator can circles around multiple operators using numerous pieces of equipment at the same time.
One has to wonder how many millions of dollars it costs to acquire it and all the accessories.
it costs about 140G
Hot dang that a creative arm. I keep thinking back to that massive 11’ retaining wall y’all built last year. I’m wondering is there any way this machine would’ve sped things up or just plain made the job easier or safer for the monkeys. Great Innovative Machine
Sure would've helped back then!
That's awesome . You thinking about buying one?
Nope, I already have the separate versions of this lol
@@Dirtmonkey Awe, but its different. 🙂 Do you have a rough price on one? because I am interested in it.
My only problem us i would still want my track skid loader. You can still only do one job at a time. Most jobs are multi faceted. Bad ass machines, I want one.
I agree with ya on that. When you run 2 jobs you still need 2 machines.
Feel it
@@DMAX-tp4pc I loved my T190. Machine was flawless for many many years. I’m older(lol) and was very good with the foot controls(had pilot to), took me a while to get use to the Kubota.
Got a quick fill and grade, this is a viable option!
Edit: I never would have seen this machine other than this vid!! Never knew.
True that
That’s what I was thinking, 1/2 the amount of equipment to move around while still efficiently completing the work.
As a sales man he's doing just fine
I like unpushy saleman that let the equipment do the selling.
Question dose that unit have the auxiliary ports and flow (low flow )to run a 72 inch brush mower and a 14 pin electrical hook up on yhe boom .?
That's a question you'll have to reach out to them with, sorry!
Can it run a hydro-bucket?
Consider doing a Menzi muck.
I assume so, he said it works for all universal attachments
This is where balls and an understanding of physics are important, any good skilled operator would be totally confident that they could just hover the load 2 or 3 inches from the ground and extend until it's touching and the weight is transferring forward, tipping the rear or side up slightly when trying to lift. It can be safely tested to the limits. Looks like it handled it really well though for the size of the unit, I'd like to stick a 12" bucket on it and see how well it rips ground!
You got it. And that would be pretty cool
A few questions:
1) What does it cost?
2) What is the name of the dealership?
3) Can you float the bucket like a a loader?
I love the idea of this machine for retaining wall builds but would be nice to have a swivel grapple or at least a thumb.
Used they are 120,000 to 190,000 🤣🤣
New you have to call for pricing 😜
6MCR w/ thumb is 129K new. Got mine last year and absolutely love it. I'm now feeling comfortable after 32 hours of use and I'm 100% new to heavy equipment.
I don't know much about this machinery but that's impressing me anyway.
Good pointers, definitely versatile and can be super helpful but that doesn't mean it's going to give you the greatest results
Travel time to haul both machines vs one trip for this.
@@mekosmowski that's true, it would be great for a quick project, but I think you're still winning with two machines even after the extra time and diesel...especially at $200k. Plus you can bill more for having two machines on site lol
@@Dirtmonkey thanks for the reply, love your videos Stan
I don't see how it would be slower than a standard skid steer.
I agree with you. I don't think it would do grading or digging as good as a dedicated piece of equipment.
Depending on price because there is a jcb 1cxt already out …
What you plan to do with any piece of machinery will tell you what’s better and what’s not. Impressive to see it lift a double stack of standards and remain completely composed(ideal surface conditions)
@@mjberta7319 yes I could see it being boss for backfilling
Now just imagine that mecalac with a tilt rotator and a grapple like you use for placing boulders!
A dream!
I don't know shineola about tractors but I like this one.
Thanks Stan .
We can always count on you for indepth vid 🙏🏻👍🏻
I looked it up and it looks like they have those attachments.
This thing has major hardscape potential. Put me a tiltrotator on that thing and wow
👌👍
Hard agree 💯
man they would have to do something with the rats nest of hoses on top of the boom for me to consider buying one. I see it as an excavator with options...not a skid loader at all. More testing on the job would be needed, I have been clamping the skid buckets in the minis and using them to carry material for decades not sure this is a game changer.
The only thing I see is the forks tipping forward or back to fast as you lift the pallets of Block. Do they have a self leveling control?
I just put 280 hours on my. I love it it’s the best one from 10 of my heavy equipment that I own.
That machine could do a lot of work in a small space. Thanks 😊
True that 👊👊
Would this machine work in agriculture are there attachments to lift bales, earth augurs, post knockers water pipe layers
I wonder if where u put a cutter unit or bushing on it
Stan once again cool multi functional machine obviously salesman novice running it Impressed with weight capacity off side of machine 👍
For sure 🙌
did you buy it or is the dealer just letting you test drive it?
I didn't buy it
Amazing content!! 👏
Thanks Michel 😁
I will like to know whats the breaking force and move the bucket full of dirt or stone up and down with out shaking the machine or trying to tip to the front
a swivel attachment would be a bonusssssss!!!
Oh yeah!
I wonder if this machine will end up like a TLB??? Seems like a neat concept, but maybe not perform either function as well as needed.
I mean it looks like what I picture a cross between a track loader and mini-x would look like
I can see how in the right circumstances it would be handy. Like loading out of piles into vehicles, like mulch, gravel, or even dirt. On a jobsite trying to do production not the best of either type of machines.
agreed. I see that as well
I would still like to try it out for a day and see how it would do.
Is the machine high flow could it run a mulcher or heavy duty brush cutter?
Jack of all trades.. master of none!
often times better than a master of one
Hey Stan. You should try and get a long term rent on one.
Hmm we'll see
@@Dirtmonkey how much does one go for
@@Dirtmonkey how much does one go for
Seams good.
What is your honest opinion Stan?
Seems efficient enough, but I also didn't try it out myself so it's hard to give an official say on it
Does it have a auto level for the forks when you raise and lower
good question- I didn't ask that though to get an answer.
it would be extremely hard to do and certainly would have to be electronic to make it work with the different modes of the machine
The other excavator worth looking at is the 'Menzi Muck' !
how much does it cost?
Wow that's awesome thanks for sharing those extra cool pointers on the machine!
This one cost around $140K
Wonder if they have an option for a hydraulic thumb or would it require a graptor style bucket? Looks like there could be some clearance issues with a thumb
I have the 6MCR...having a newly designed thumb installed right now. The thumb it came with did not match the bucket teeth when extended making it more difficult to pick up fine brush and such. The new thumb is hinged at a different point. Love this extremely versatile machine. There is a bit of a learning curve to maximize the efficiency it offers!
I’m sold! Would you take a post dated check?!?!😃
Talk about a Snow Stacker!!! WOW that thing is awesome.
Heck yeah 👊
Is it just an optical illusion or are the tracks narrower than a skid loader?
whats the cost of such machine with the main attachments?
This one is 140k
@@Dirtmonkey wow, that's a lot.
Couldn't agree more!
Another great video
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for supporting
What's the price on this "swiss arm knife"?
about 140g's
Did they mention the MSRP?
So u could plow snow with this?
We have a mcr6 we love it makes it less crowded on job sites
Wouldn’t any excavator operate as both if the excavator has a skid steer bucket that could be mounted forwards on the boom?
What’s the price on that piece of machinery?
Well Stan is this going to be your next purchase? I can see it being any extremely handy machine plus with fuel costs if you have a jobsite far away you can get away with only hauling one machine. I bet the price of this is the same as buying a normal
mini excavator and track loader?
I wont be buying one but could totally see how helpful / useful this machine could be, especially for those just starting out and only wanting to buy one machine. This one goes for about 140k
@@Dirtmonkey That is true, i think that thing would really shine building retaining walls and back filling in hard to get areas. I have older bobcats, a bobcat 337 excavator its small enough to haul under cdl but big enough for building natural stone and boulder retaining walls. Then a bobcat 76 mini, not many of those around its like a 2 ton size, that can get in small areas
Are you thinking about getting a mecalac?
I don't think so, I already have machines that do the same kind of thing
What’s the price range on this machine?
This one goes for 140k
Stan, I think Blaine will have lots of fun running that piece of equipment when you get it for him to run and add it to your stable. I wonder if it has a heater and what do you think about it for snow removal?
Good questions, but I'm not getting it and I don't really know all the details about it
The cost is prohibitive when looking at the Mecalac. Pretty good machine though
How much?
$140K
@@Dirtmonkey Not sure about in the states but here in Canada a new 8 ton cost about 140k. Seems cheap really. did they mention if you can run it in excavator mode with the loader arm down for extra reach?
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴
Thanks Tony 👊
Can the boom move side to side like a regular excavator
