Sitting at my desk in Western Australia, it's really interesting to see a load of classes I've never heard of before. Australian Sailing (our peak body) has a small group of "corporate classes" that it focuses on and basically ignores anything else..

For a while I too sat at a desk in Western Australia. Long term I couldn't take it, and had to get back to racing on the Solent. Take it from me, it's much better than WA (but in worse weather). My only regret - I didn't take those $AU500 sections in City Beach in 1967. They just looked like expensive sand dunes. Now - good grief. My big mistake.
