When controlling for political orientation, vegans are more likely to be pro-life than non-vegans since it is a philosophy that values life. Leftist vegans might condone abortion >despite< their veganism because they agree with anything other leftists say.
It is similar to how there are self proclaimed christians on the left who condone abortion, it IS hypocritical but it is not a good argument against christianity nor is it a good argument against veganism. And why do people point out that vegans are hypocrites for condoning abortion but meat eaters who condone abortion are not hypocrites?

From what I remember hearing about those baptisms in the street where George Floyd was killed, they weren't baptizing people in his name, they were calling for a revival, for repentance and forgiveness, and for return to Jesus Christ as the remedy for healing racial tensions.
The ones I heard about, at least. And there was an old acquaintance of mine who was there, personally, and that was his takeaway.
Serial and Adnan Syeed was all the rage at the time. Though in the end it didn't really come to a conclusion about the crime. It was more of a commentary on the justice system, it is often hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt many crimes.
OTOH the police often succeed because the simplest explanation is usually right. Most of the people who think Adnan is guilty do so because he is the most likely suspect, which he is. But that is different than knowing the facts of a crime.
I can say, based on everything known about the Adnan Syed case, whether he is guilty or not, he was wrongfully convicted based on the way the system is supposed to work.
@@MrMac6375 The thing that really stuck with me was the prison interviews. Basically the prisoners admitted to being guilty in general, but they all agreed that the court cases always got the details wrong.
It really is the case that the easiest explanation is almost always right, but the police really don't know what they think they do. It makes me wonder about how we investigate and prosecute crimes. Is it based on faulty assumptions?
Can you interview Andrew Young who has worked for Xbox and DreamWorks and sees firsthand how media is designed to social engineer kids? I think it would make an interesting podcast episode!

It was her failed social doxxing website project. It was attacked on from both sides. Shortly after her failure to pull it off that she jumped on board the growing conservative movement (claiming she was a victim of leftist cancelation). Ultimately this move really it pay off for her so of course she'll play along. However, I for one do not trust her.
