Hello Dan. Very nice videos and review of the Trail Camera (MiNi301). I have this camera and have found it does take great videos/Still shots. Phil Edwards. North Wales. UK.
Hi Phil thanks for watching, you might be interested in my next video which should be out within the next day or 2 of the WIFI 301. Its the same camera in appearance but has an app which pairs to the camera
I think they are worth buying. Not sure about the buttons saying waterproof overtime. Mine have been setup over winter at my remote cabin I’ll be collecting them in the next few weeks when I open it up for the year.
I think I got the same deal as you. I’ve been filming in 1080p and increased the video length to 20 second clips as the factory setting of 15 seconds seemed a bit short. I have another one of these 301 cameras coming soon to the channel but this one has wifi and uses an app. Thanks for watching have a great day 👍💯💥
I have 3 of these and they only take videos during light. I have them set for 20 minutes a video which it does in the light, but when darkness comes, it goes to one second. Anyone knows why?
Mine actually did that a few times as well. I thought it might’ve been the battery level was getting low. My cameras have been setup since last Fall I’ll be retrieving them next week. I’ll be posting the results
@@Van_City Just watched another video and he said it was the batteries. At night the infrared for night uses more battery power. He recommends lithium batteries. They will hold the full voltage longer. I am using cheap batteries. They must be losing voltage quicker.
That's a great trail cam, good resolution on them and they captured quite a fair bit of wildlife which is awesome. Good video Dan 👍💯🍻
Thanks Dave, yeah these cameras are decent. I was shocked with how much wildlife was passing through this summer.
👍💯🍻

Is battery need chargable? Or just AA
Just AA, you can also use an external solar battery bank
Did you add a lamp for grt the night footages or is just the camera?
That’s the built in infrared lights. Actually has decent night vision
Are they worth buying? Do the buttons on the front stay waterproof over time?

I wish you could have explained how to set it up. For us dummies.
It’s really not difficult. Everything is straightforward. I’m sure you would figure it out with no issues.

That’s exactly what was thinking was the infrared lights were drawing too much power 👍
Does anyone know if there's a reset button. You forget your password on a . Mini 301
I don’t believe there is. I’ll have a look in a couple weeks when I plan on travelling to my cabin where I have them setup
6V 1.5A Power Supply 3.5mm x 1.35mm for this product
Thanks 👍💯
These are great for public land, if they get vandalized/stolen or chewed by a bear your not out a lot of 💰
You make a great point, thanks for watching 👍💯
