*Looked at a lot of options for getting my **Latest.Bike** . Great find in SAVA. Super light, nice components, really good value as it comes with many options only found in much higher priced bikes.*
This makes me love my us hand made trek zx 6500 old school mtb more. People keep telling me I cant use it for technical DH teails with its original rigid mtb fork... I keep proving them wrong. Keep it up trek :)
Just got a Domane Classics edition listed as their most expensive bike. It came with a sticker "assembled in the USA" at the base of the seat mast. The real humor is the rest of the bike is perfect but the sticker was applied crooked.
for me getting such a bike is worth it,as you support fair company practices plus you support your country if they're made in your country.also these frames usually come with lifetime guarantee, carbon fiber has advanced tremendously.
This video focuses in high end carbon production, which is entirely stateside, not the sub $3000 range of bikes. Which doe sin deed make up the majority of their production. Read the companion article in issue 06 of peloton for an in depth look at this. Thanks for watching.
I like trek bikes, i dont have one,i have capriolo oxygen, but i am plannig to buy one in 2 years. Here ,in serbia, trek is little bit higher cost. About 350 $ cheapest, and there is polar mirage pro which is 300$ with better equipment
yea sure it is great that they are TRYING to do a good thing by recycling carbon fiber but it is carbon so it returns to the ground extremely quickly, because it is the building block for all living things.
would carbon bike frames made moulded entirely as a single one piece monocoque structure be stronger than joining carbon parts of bike frames together with epoxy
Chris Babb Actually I have, I current own seven different bikes, if there's a way to post a pick of my garage I'd be happy too... Bikes are like anything else, they fit individual taste... Who wouldn't agree that a Maserati is a quality built vehicle? My brother owns one & hates it ride... Everyone else loves it.... It's all a matter of choice.
Trek manufactures all of their carbon fiber bikes in Wisconsin because they want to keep a higher quality assurance. They can't make everything in America.

Was in trek store last month, 3 bikes out of hundred that were made in the USA. Most of the carbon bikes were Hencho en China

Just picked up my 2019 Domane SL 6. The frame has a Made in Taiwan Sticker. Guessing it's mostly Project One bikes that are made in the USA.
My trek 7.4 FX 2013-14 was made in China. Nonetheless a greatass bike.

The Trek 820, that I have, had a "Made in China" sticker on it ?!
yup, they opted to make the domanes overseas, and us made mountaon bikes are no more, all thats left are the madome 6 & 7s, and the speed concept 9s
Very good

I think you're right. For example Cannondale moved their entire manufacturing to asia.
US-Handcraftmanship makes the bikes expensive.
What models and how much??
MY MARLIN 6 2015 SAYS MADE IN CHINA
made in China and Taiwan as well
You better believe it!
I love Trek, I am Trek for life, but Americans haven't got a clue... =P
I love all the comments that say their trek was made in China or Taiwan... well yeah! You didn’t buy a trek project one frame...

Made in USA does not mean all parts are Made in USA.
You can buy all the part from China. Put the bike together in USA and Call it MADE IN USA
now only the 6 series are made in the states...i give it 5 years and its all moving to taiwan

Not really. The bonding process is super, super strong.
Trek the best
Trek sold out their employees a while back. So much for hard working, dedicated Americans.
blsiht my farley made in taiwan
I know Trek builds some high end quality bicycles, it's just hard for me to not think Walmart when I hear the name Trek though:(
Sounds like you haven't ridden either.

There is a huge difference between the quality of a Wal Mart mountain bike and a bike shop brand.
Kevin Boatman Walmart doesn't sell Trek brand.
+Kevin Boatman LBS is a Trek dealership I bought and ride an x cal 7 from my lbs ... pretty sweet bike ...def not a walmart bike
I want to work for TREK, what I need??
A passport to China.
what's the song in the video?
America? Iam also american, United States will mean.

Made in china
this operation will move to china also.
