I went to my first horse auction, today. Gorgeous horses! Most of the catalogued horses came from one ranch and were very well bred. There were also consigned horses which consisted of ponies, donkeys and mules, more Quarter horses and a baby Zebra! I was flipping through the catalogue and saw a Gypsy Vanner Stallion. OMG! My bucket list horse! I’ve wanted one for so long but never thought I’d be able to afford one. Well,…I GOT HIM!!! He’s 10 and is a Buckskin and white Tobiano with a white mane and tail. He’s just gorgeous! I’m so happy!
As a non-equestrian disabled person I don’t have any horses, but I love watching your videos! I especially love when you take us with you to the auctions, it something I would never experience otherwise. Thank you so much for letting us live vicariously through you, lol.❤❤❤
Right. I want a horse so bad! I love her horses! I love going with to the auctions! I am really going to bawl my eyes out when Belle funds her new home! I wish I could find my dream house in the country on 10 acres and I could get her! I keep praying and dreaming!
Not having any idea of what ur limitations r, I just wonder if u could participate in a riding program for disabled folks. I volunteered at one some time ago, and it was amazing the range of folks the program helped😊. Blessings to u and enjoy following Free Spirit as I do!!!!! 🤗 💕😊
I got one of my horses at an auction. My father took me as I was only 12. It was very hard seeing all those horses that needed homes knowing I could only pick one 😢
I love the 2 year old red dun with dorsal stripe with the white blaze and socks. You looked connected with him. You are strong to be able to wait for one you feel the true connection with but I would have gone for 191. He is so sweet and needs you to help him stay safe. I always worry for their safety. You are the one making the commitment and eventually you will find your next baby.
@Rosietheanimallover There are so many horses that we could list, I know for my self I didn't see or here much about Buzz so it was sadder to see Olaf and Jafar leave, but Buzz also left like a half a year to a year ago and they left in the last 3 months
That red dun was so adorable! His mane and coat looked so healthy and he had such a cute face! Auction videos are always so fun to see all the different horses and animals. I love your channel!
I just received my stunning new bridle and black diamond browband. My black Lippitt Morgan is going to look so elegant in this bridle. I will be training my horse to do bitless dressage. I believe it can be done and this is my background and my passion. I love the brass rings and hardware. The browband is GORGEOUS and the entire bridle and browband are beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for creating this bridle for the horses and us all to enjoy. Everyone should have one of these bridles. Your horse's will thank you!!! ❤❤
I m always learning something when I watch your videos. Whether it be an auction, information and opinions on bitless bridles or other tack, like saddles, or even about stock, riding or draft breeds. You invest so much energy, insight, reasons for investigating thoroughly and not just succumb to the sweet, cute or beautiful appearance of these majestic, remarkable animals. Horses are so special to, for, and with humans. We need to give them lots of respect, care, kindness, love and appreciation for how horses have been integral to civilization and human’s lives! Thx for taking us on an Auction run, Shae and Kyle! ❤🐴🐎❤
I like going to auctions with you and seeing learning and enjoying the view = horses 😂 The horse with the turquoise bridle was luscious. So sweet kind friendly loving...no ugly horse exists!! I ❤🐴 Thanks Shae & Kyle
I went to a auction and found a few horses that I thought would be good for what I needed but they all went for way too much. I was losing hope when a little 5 year old dark bay Azteca gelding that I hadn't looked at came in to the ring. It was love at first sight 😊 I got him and I absolutely love him😍 He's just a little thin but other than that he is in good health.
Some beautiful well built horses, the red dun was stunning....i would never be able to come eway empty handed, or should that be empty trailered...Thank you once again for taking us along for the ride , the auction videos are some of my favourites. ...🐴
I just want to say as a horse lover and owner myself. Your overall vibe makes me so happy. I can come to school and if im having a bad day I just turn your videos on and work with them in the background. Your mission is also my mission i wanna save and help horses and train them up to their full potential. Im a seinor in high school and i honestly cant wait to get out so i can start my horse training journey myself. Please keep making these amazing videos and spreading this positve energy i love looking forward to them so much.
I miss Olaf and Jafar, but you made sure they went to good loving homes. You will know the right horse when you see it. I love how you take your time with this.
I didn’t know they have draft crosses until I saw you at the auctions! Thank you for bringing us with you! I had a wonderful quarter horse growing up. Then I went to university for veterinary technician school. I am 65 and disabled. I love seeing the horses you show us! Thank you Shah and Kyle!
Love your auction videos! Always good info. The young dun seemed super sweet, I hoped you would get him. It was super nice to meet you two! I'm the crazy lady who ran up to you in the parking lot...after spotting Kyle!! That was cool! Enjoy your insight at the auctions.
I love your auction videos and your attitude to buying, it would be so easy to get carried away but every horse is a huge responsibility and you have to do what’s right for you and the horse, look forward to the next auction :)
I just can’t with the little ponies, the chonky ones are just so cute! The dun quarter horse looked like a horse I’ve ridden at my riding school or whatever it’s called, her name was Selma and she looked identical, I really liked her but I only had the chance to ride her 2 times before she moved, it was really sad but she is much happier now so I’m happy for her.❤ Good luck searching for horses!
Ahhh I’m so excited to see! (I will update this comment when I finish the video) Ok I just finished! They are all so pretty! It’s ok you didn’t buy one! Just keep looking and have fun!❤
Love your commitment to your cause. Keep going because you’re a Godsend to these wonderful horses! And keep listening to that Intuition of yours, you’re gifted!
It’s always wonderful and exciting when you are taking us along to auctions. I can see your point. The red dun was really pretty. But 2 years old is just not the right fit for you, I can totally understand. There will be the perfect next horse - whenever it’s coming along!
You have the right to be picky. You’ll find the right one like you did with Belle. I’m so glad you take your time to find the right one so many people don’t and then they are stuck with a horse that has problems or isn’t the right fit. I love going to auction with. Still fun even if you don’t buy.♥️🐴👍😁
Thanks for taking us with you to look at the horses at the auction. I loved the Red Dun, and was amazed that he is only two years old. You and he seemed to have a connection, but you are right, you don't want a horse that young, especially when you already have Ezzy and Ariel to continue raising.
I would have had a hard time passing him up. But we must keep in mind that great horses seldom go up for auction unless they've first been advertised for sale at private treaty.
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I like the auction videos too. They are fun & can be real nail-biters. I love red duns. My oldest son & his wife are Army Veterans. She is a therapist who works with Veterans with PTSD & they have an adorable, funny, cuddly red dun AQHA mare that she uses as a therapy assistant. Such a wonderful mare who was also a rescue. So, I have a special place in my heart. ❤❤❤
Your my favorite UA-camr and I love watching every single video you post and I’m gonna miss Olaf and Jafar but I know that you sold them for the good and it’s what you do I love watching your videos and your an amazing Equestrian ❤❤❤
A lot of times, and this can include anything from picking out a dress to buying furniture, you don't know what you want but when you see it you know that's it! As always, lots of great info and tips!
I loved the red dun. He was gorgeous. I know too young but he seem kinda sad when you left him. Oh well that's the way the cookie crumbles. Love going to the auctions with you but I always see some I like but could never have. Darn it. Now I know why I always loved the old western tv shows of the 1950's 1960s, the horses. Happy trails to you and God bless.
I can smell the fragrance of the auction barn when they're in there filming. Good thing there are almost no horse auctions near me. I have a genetic disposition (aka weakness) to gravitate to fine horses. My forebears were professional horse breeders of race and stock horses from the time they left Jamestown VA to explore westward. The same line of horses was perpetuated in our family from before 1700 to 1910 when my great grandfather passed and his famous stud horse was put down due to his advanced age and dangerous disposition.
omg its so hard to look at horses since my cousins horse died last night and i was her trainer and loved her like my own... :( she was about 16 or 18 and she died because of collic and she had a less than 10% of dying. I just miss her so much.
That red dun is actually just flaxen chestnut potentially with nd1. Doesn’t have the proper body dilution to be classed as dun, and not enough primitive markings (leg barring).
I would just hope these horses all go to good homes. Sadly, I think some go off to other places which i would prefer not to know. 😢😢 Some just look so sad. They are all so special.

Some beautiful horse in there but some just didn’t seem to stand correctly, it’s so hard to see all them beautiful baby’s and walk away, I could never make it at a auction like this, I would be horse broke for sure. Even with some of their problems. lol yep a sucker for the horses thanks for taking us along. ❤

Totally!
That 2 year old dun is sure to make someone really happy. What a friendly healthy guy. ❤
I could never go to a horse auction. I would want to take them all home. It's always interesting when you take us all along.

The right horse will come!
