The article by medscape from October 2022 says that if all invitees had gotten a colonoscopy, the purported colorectal death rate would have gone from 3 out of 1000 people down to 1.5 out of 1000 people. Does that make colonoscopies worth it? Considering risks of this procedure (observed and not observed), and actions we can take to prevent any cancer to begin with.
What about egg whites? I have had a gastroenterologist who recommended egg whites the day before the colonoscopy in the morning and after that to start the liquid diet.

Now that I made the mistake of living too long, my doctor said I needed this a punishment for living. Sounds like sheer hell. This is torture.

I didn’t really change my diet the week prior except the day before the exam. Then no solid foods 24 hours prior
Light breakfast the morning before procedure? Yogurt and toast?Meaning the morning of prep? Bone broth ok? As long as no residue in it
I literally cannot find anything online on a HEALTHY prep diet. Recommended foods are all crap. I can’t eat like that for four days. Jesus.
I'm with you; I feel like I'm going to have to make broth and strain it and get out the juicer and maybe pour the juice through a coffee filter.
